Migration can be a blessing. I say that as someone whose entire second chance at life came from the ability to leave tyranny and stand on free soil. Millions have done the same. They rebuild, they contribute, they honor the nations that gave them refuge. They are proof that migration can elevate both the migrant and the society that welcomes them.
But there is migration, and then there is manipulation. There is the honest escape from oppression, and then there is the strategic use of Western compassion as an operational tool for ideological expansion.
And that distinction is the line the West refuses to draw, even though it is very easy to do.
The story of manipulation starts almost the same way every time. A man arrives with no documentation, no proof of suffering, and no demonstrated desire for freedom. He enters the system as a blank file and is treated as a victim before anyone even knows his name. Overnight, he gains access to welfare systems he never contributed to, legal protection he never earned, and institutions built by people whose values he does not share.
From there, the fork splits in two predictable directions.
Some disappear into the shadows of unmonitored Western mosques and reemerge years later as mid-level or senior commanders in overseas jihadist networks. Others never leave. They stay inside the very countries that sheltered them and become street-level jihadists, carrying out knife attacks, car rammings, stabbings, shootings, or synagogue plots in the neighborhoods that took them in.
