Danon handled the BBC very well

By Ted Belman

After listening the  MSNBC, using an interview format to spew their hatred without giving the interviewee sufficient time to reply, I was expecting even worse conduct in this BBC interview.

So I was pleasantly surprised that the interviewer gave Danon every chance to give a full answer.  I thought Danon acquited himself well. No matter what she said, he got his own talking points in.

  1. @ bernard ross:

I thought they applauded the walkout

    Maybe you are right.
    I HOPE you are right.
These days…I just want to shoot’em all (just to be on the safe side)
    Sigh…

  2. I beleive that D Danon was using this technique, pioneered in Israel with his interviewer, I think it did not work.

Want to win an argument? Then AGREE with your opponent: Highlighting people’s extreme views makes them reconsider
Researchers tested their theory using the Israel and Palestine conflict

  3. The the members of the Orchestra stage a walkout !!!! Great to see people with the courage of their convictions !!!!

Yet, the crowd DID applaud the musloid…
These must be the descendants of the ones who robbed the Jews and were paid 7 guilders for pointing them out to the Gestapo.

  4. Queen Beatrix of Holland attends an Orchestral Concert. The Conductor, who just happens to be Muslim, proceeds to give the Queen a lecture on the “beauty” of Islam.

THIS is the way, I believe, to give a press interview

I agree, much better than DD. Dermer is able to stay on issue and keep the point focused by directly answering to the questions with the specific facts of the issue. his command of english is 100 times better. I am surprised that jews are so oblivious to the obvious.

I think that DD damaged Israels image because he could not focus on the question posed with direct answers to those questions, unlike dermer. DD spend a lot of time with generic replies and superficial empathy with dead civilians. he should have focused on the responsibility like dermer did rather than making dead kids the issue which is what the detractors want.

  6. Ted, I disagree, I think he did a very poor job, that he appears to misunderstand the direct questions he is asked and instead answers to unasked question. perhaps his knowledge of English is limited. I believe I could have done a better of job with my limited knowledge. he did not employ specific facts in reply to specific questions asked. he keeps coming beck with generic responses. she keeps quoting people who say something and he doesn’t rebut the quotations which are usually pure horsehshit, but he does not reply to the horseshit stated but instead employs generic arguments. That is why she kept repeating the questions because he did not answer the simple questions she asked and therefore appeared to be avoiding specific questions. he should have started by telling her to refer the questions to hamas, if they want quiet they must stop firing rockets, keep it simple. Israel should stop using non english speakers in english venues, they tend to do a poor job of understanding and answering direct questions in a direct manner. I will happily apply for that position and show them how it is done with less information and ammunition than they have.

I’m not a fan of Netanyahu. But I don’t think any one in Israel respects Kerry. No one asked him to come to save Hamas. Apparently, the Americans who would never dream of letting Al Qaeda recover, ask Israel to show Hamas forbearance. That is beneath insulting. And after 33 IDF soldiers have died, any Israeli politician who so much as mentions it, should be run out of Israel on a rail. Let the IDF finish its job!!!

THIS is the way, I believe, to give a press interview:
Israel’s ambassador Ron Dermer is turning the tables on the interviewer.
Attack, attack attack whoever is asking these loaded biased questions for they are designed to vilify Israel, no matter what the answer. (So, when did you stop beating your wife? )
Howard stern perhaps could do a bit of hasbarah…..
    😉

  9. Danon will handle far more than just the BBC…
Netanyahu is about to complete his cycle with his latest fold.
