Hotevely proposes to annex “C” at first, ingather a million plus Jews or so and then annex the rest

The long years of propaganda on the vision of “two states for two peoples” blocked the most basic desire that exists in most Israeli citizens – not to give up the territory captured in the blood in a defensive war. The solution: the annexation of the whole country, without fear of the Arab minority who sits where

Tzipi Hotoveli

Numbers on Levi Eshkol after the Six-Day War said “dowry beautiful but I do not like the Bride”. This sentence is the essence of the Israeli fear annexing Judea and Samaria: Dealing with the Arab problem. Left built a security fence and agreed to establish a Palestinian state would endanger Israel, and the right was waiting for a miracle – voluntary migration may occur, or you might decide to adopt Jordanians of Palestinian brethren. Both sides are looking for a magic solution would sweep the Arab equation. Over the years, got a huge settlement enterprise, but the political right political passivity socket. When Beilin ran Geneva, right running hills and squares – and as more and adapting his prophecies against vision Beilin, the greater the erosion of most Israeli leaders in the opposite direction. Lieberman, Netanyahu, torch and Yachimovitch, and even Bennett is willing to annex only the Area C, they all speak the language of Oslo.

If so, who still think you can leave the scene of ideas and to apply all the political weight construction, probably did not learn the lessons of disengagement from Gush Katif. 46-year term on the vision of a Greater Israel. All the leaders of Israel – a cluster to Begin – did not exercise because they did not want to deal with the Palestinian issue.

But the real battle for hearts and minds begins now, when the idea of two states in agreement failed. Is now the leading discourse will be a one-sided withdrawal from Gaza nightmare recovery will lead to the center of the country, prolonged damage to the residents Dan and Sharon, and the constant deterioration of Israel’s standing in the world.

Or alternatively, adopting the vision most moral, which allows us to be sovereign in his country’s only Jewish people, relatively low cost of increasing the proportion of Arabs in the population. Such a plan depends only on the will of the Israeli, without the kindness of foreign countries, and it leaves the control of the process, throughout way, by the Israeli government and the goodwill of terrorist regimes.

Five Steps
Annexation program consists of five stages, and gradually began to sovereignty:
Phase I – Preparation of a national plan for immigration. Nine million Jews live today in the Diaspora, and immigration figures speak of a few thousand a year. If we add to this figure the decline among the elite, it is hard not to say that Israel gave up the vision of ingathering of the exiles was a cornerstone of Zionism. So that Israel can deal with absorption and a half million Arabs, the target should be bringing two million immigrants within a decade.

Phase II – enactment of citizenship which states that a full Israeli citizenship conditional equality duties. In other words, national service obligation for those wishing to become an Israeli citizen has the right to vote for the Knesset.

Phase III – Applying sovereignty over areas of Jewish settlement in the West Bank, currently defined as Area C, which are home to some 100 thousand Palestinians, who will receive a full Israeli citizenship.

Phase IV – adopted in legislation the principle of the State of Israel being a Jewish nation-state, which abides equal rights to its citizens. Also, anchoring state symbols – the anthem, holidays Israel and the Law of Return – Basic Laws received a majority of 80 Knesset members, and not be changed but that most.

Phase V – Determination of basic principles Israeli education system, so that not be possible incitement to terrorism. As part of the program is determined that Naturalization process is complete the rest of the Arabs will be possible only with national immigration project completion, a responsible power relations between Jews and Arabs and without jeopardizing the principle of a solid Jewish majority.

Thermal binational

First hearing Naturalization idea of a million and a half Palestinians very jarring to the ear Israel does not admire the coexistence of the Jewish-Arab.

However, keep in mind that when Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of the state were 660 thousand Jews are supposed to share the tiny Jewish state with 440 thousand Arabs (according to the UNESCO program). This was a difficult demographic problem, probably along with the challenges of a country under construction.

But the news that 13 million Jews in the world, and the challenge of immigration, Ben-Gurion gave the courage to go to the Zionist vision, even without full confidence that the Jewish majority Iishmr.umh was true to Ben-Gurion, was certainly the case today when the strength of the Israeli state several times larger. years of propaganda long arm of the vision of two states blocked the most basic desire that exists in most Israeli citizens – not to give up the territory captured in the blood in a defensive war. Now is the time to restore our confidence.

  1. @ Ted Belman:
While I was in the likud wasting time, we met in my town, second floor at the old KANION likud offices then, with Rivlin and most other pseudo “right wing” items in the likud.
After Mr. Begin died and some say even while he was still alive, the old line was overtaken by either families or SHABAK plants or were purely opportunistic items such as Hanegbi, who was with Sharon and Livni and then slithered back.
Rivlin is an attorney with a family of long standing in Jerusalem. His cousin was placed as a supreme courtier until not long ago. To be “allowed” in the supreme gang pride one has to have no connections in fact to Jewish Eretz Israel, not the to be “judge” or anyone near him… Those folk are ONLY there for themselves and if anyone believes otherwise… too bad.
What they say before they get to what they want and what they really are and do after, have nothing in common.
Of course there are vicious, brutal internal wars. No holds barred. Netanyahu and Rivlin are enemies.
And will stop at nothing to bring that into frontal actions. We do not count for either of them. Nor to Livni, Hertzog or Lapid either.

  2. @ Ted Belman:

Rivilin is what I call a right wing Librul Like Jabotinski.

Don’t dicount internal political animus here Rivilin Hates BB who tried to prevent him from becoming President but first had him dumped as knesset speaker.

Rivlin except the question of Jerusalem will not be a friendly president to the Likud and BB. Rivlin could go out of his way if the election is close to give Labor first crack at forming a government.

Poll on TV news give Labor i more than Likud and Bennett 15

  3. @ yamit82: Everyone wants to be Prime Minister and run his own party. Ridiculous.

Feiglin if he sticks to his own party will NOT get the needed 4 mandates to sit in the Knesset.

My guess is no one but Ben Ari’s party will want him. If he teamed up with them maybe they would get the minimum 4 seats. Right now they are not even being polled and they get virtually no publicity.

  4. @ bernard ross:

Now you understand the disunity of the right. Too many chiefs with too beg egos.

He will never pass threshold. I think it’s a ploy to get Bennett to take him in and give him a safe spot on the list. otherwise it makes no political sense now maybe 6 mos ago a year ago 5 years ago but not now.

  5. That was surprising, NOT! He should relax and work for Y & S as the good person he is. Politics is not his call.

  6. Fearful of Israel and distrustful of their own leadership, 43% of Gazans and 23% of West Bankers seek emigration, poll finds; 77% back rocket attacks on Israel; Hamas popularity soaring

Israel should increase whatever pressures encourage them to leave. It should also set up covert “illegal” boat trips from gaza to europe to increase the existing traffic. a covert program is needed.

  7. According to a senior State Department source who spoke to Al-Monitor on condition of anonymity, these perceptions are well-known to the administration. Washington, he says, will not express any policy position in relation to the period after the Israeli elections. He emphasized that no one in Israel should count on President Barack Obama’s alleged status as a lame duck, and that the president and his secretary of state are committed to retain the pragmatic Arab anti-Islamic State coalition also by reaching understandings on Palestinian issues. In this context it is clear to the administration that settlement expansion, especially in sensitive areas, meaning outside the settlement blocks and in East Jerusalem, are out of the question when hoping for any future progress. There seems to be a growing consensus on a settlement freeze demand among the international community.

The State Department source told Al-Monitor the main European capitals — Paris, London and Berlin — have made it clear to the United States in recent days that they will unequivocally demand such a freeze, and will even back it up with potential punitive economic measures against Israel if the demand is rejected. One can therefore conclude that as far as the Western powers are concerned, come March 17, settlement expansion is out. That is the main lesson the Europeans have learned from the aborted John Kerry mission of 2013-14.

  8. Although I agree with annexation under various scenarios there is a scenario which delays problems of making arabs citizens. Israel need only decare that it has a moral and legal obligation to continue to facilitate and encourage the immigratin and close settlement of the Jewish people to the palestine mandate territorywhich it now administers. It should also declare that the rights inurring to world Jewry have been obstructed and damaged by the british mandate, the Jordanian occupation and the Israel GOI. It should declare an affirmative action program to speed up the process to mitigate damage and restore justice to the diaspora world Jewry. It should decalre a homestead act like the US who wanted to settle the west: free land grants to new immigrants from the diaspora to YS. This would completely block any GC initatives as the immigrants would not be Israelis and therefore the only legal argument can be that Jews should not be allowed settlement there which is an obvious contradiction of the established rights.
whether annexation or not it requires the settlement of large amounts of Jews from the diaspora to keep YS and the legal basis is the unexpired rights of world jewry derived from the LON.

  9. She is of course correct. Expecting the Netanyahu to do as the people want is another story.
According to the “recount dances” taking place after the tragicomic likud primaries, she is fighting against another orchestrated political assassination by the Netanyahu aggregate. Apparently she is about to do it.
Of course Netanyahu prefers “kadima” Dichter to her, but we hope she dumps the Livni’s clone.
