Allowing evil to live among us

Avi Abelow

Another terror attack today at one of the busiest intersections in the Judean Hills, minutes from my home and right near my army posts in reserve duty.

A car-ramming, followed by terrorists jumping out with knives.
One Jew murdered. Three more injured.

It was meant to be a much, much bigger attack, as several bombs were found in the car as well.

Why does this keep happening?
Simple. Because we continue to allow evil to live among us.

Because too many Jewish/Israeli leaders still refuse to call our enemy what it is Amalek.

Just as Biblical Amalek preyed on the defenseless Jews, the elderly, the women, the weak, those lagging behind, our modern enemy has been doing the exact same thing to the Jewish people for generations.

And it didn’t begin in 1948, or with “occupation,” or with “settlements.” It began in the 19th and early 20th centuries, long before the State of Israel existed, long before Jews returned to resettle our Biblical homeland.

Decades before the Jewish state of Israel was established. No IDF. No “settlements”. Yet there were massacres and pogroms in Jaffa, Jerusalem, Haifa, Tzfat, Hebron, and elsewhere.
The same evil then is the same evil now, Amalek in our time. Today it is jihadi Islam with its storm troopers who call themselves “palestinians”.

And instead of calling out this evil so the world can finally internalize what we are up against, our leaders play along with global geopolitical games at the United Nations that let the perpetrators of October 7th feel like they’re being rewarded, handed a so-called “path to a Palestinian state.”

It’s insanity. It’s moral blindness. And it endangers us all.

There is no difference between the Arab Muslims in Gaza and those in Judea or Samaria.

Every poll shows the same horrifying truth:
A vast majority of them support the Oct. 7th atrocities.

This is not a fringe group.
This is a society raised on jihad, hatred, and a 1,400-year ideology of conquest and submission of all non-Muslims.
These attackers are not “lone wolves.”
They are the storm troopers of a culture that glorifies murder.

Why else does this terror continue, even after we destroy Gaza? Because our enemies know they are rewarded, not punished.

The world has made it clear: instead of holding them accountable for massacres, pogroms, and decades of terror, it wants to rebuild Gaza for them and reward them with a state. Who cares if they never fulfill a single condition to actually get it? The goal of the international community remains the same, “solve the conflict” by giving them a state! So from their perspective, they have nothing to lose by spilling Jewish blood.

They see the world shifting in their favor.
They see more and more jihaid Muslim Mamdani–style candidates winning elections in the United States, with the support of the socialist left.
They also see parts of the Christian conservative right turning against Jews and Israel.

They’re convinced that time is on their side.

And they don’t care about losing their lives, because they believe they gain honor, paradise, and victory through death.

This is why their terror won’t stop.

Not because of “despair,” not because of “occupation,” but because a 1,400+ plus genocidal ideology sees that the world is willing to reward it, and because the killers genuinely believe they are marching toward an inevitable triumph. And they have the patience to wait.

We need leaders with the courage to say openly:
Our enemy, jihaid Islam with its storm troopers called “palestinians”, is a modern Amalek.
And our mission as a nation, our moral duty, is to remove evil from God’s holy land, and protect the lives of every Israeli citizen.

The Arab Muslim Middle East is a huge region. They can’t live near us, they must live in Middle Eastern countries that agree with their genocidal agenda. Not in Gaza, Judea or Samaria.

No more illusions.
No more appeasement.
Only strength, clarity, and Jewish sovereignty.

Baruch Dayan Ha’emet. If only we could be blessed with such clear moral leadership ASAP so we no longer have to experience such evil anymore.

Am Yisrael Chai.

Trump’s 20 Point Gaza Plan UN Resolution

Stick with me, as there are multiple levels to this development.

In one sentence – it is another horrible UN resolution that rewards terror, by even entertaining the creation of a Palestinian state. A total moral outrage.

The latest UN Security Council resolution on Trump’s 20 point Gaza plan is yet another tragic example of the world rewarding terror. The very notion that a genocidal death cult could massacre Jews on October 7th, and the “solution” would be to even discuss creating a Palestinian state, is a moral collapse of historic proportions.

Instead of punishing evil, the world once again incentivizes it. Instead of holding the perpetrators accountable, it hands them political currency. The mere idea of Palestinian statehood as a response to the horrors of Gaza sends a crystal-clear message to every jihadist on earth: murder Jews, and the world will debate giving you a country. Regardless if they fulfill the conditions or not, the idea stays alive…and our jihadi Muslim enemies have all the patience in the world to wait for that right time, even if now is that not right time.

Our holy IDF soldiers did not fight in Gaza, did not sacrifice their lives, and did not return home with devastating wounds in body and spirit, only for our enemy to be rewarded, even conceptually, with a state. That is a terrible stab in their backs.

After saying that, once we take a closer look at the actual text, the realpolitik of this resolution, it becomes obvious that the entire framework is a diplomatic illusion. Still dangerous and immoral, but an illusion.

Trump’s 20 point Gaza plan, now given international support with the UN resolution, establishes a long list of conditions for any hypothetical Palestinian state:

    – Hamas must be disarmed
    – Gaza must be demilitarized
    – A new governing body must replace Hamas entirely
    – International monitors must verify permanent demilitarization
    – And the Palestinian Authority must “reform” itself into a functioning, peaceful entity

    Here’s the blunt truth:
Hamas will never disarm. The Palestinian Authority will never reform. The Arab Muslim public in Gaza, Judea and Samaria will never abandon its support for it’s 1,400+ year Muslim jihad ideology. Never.

Every survey shows overwhelming support from Arab Muslims in Gaza, Judea and Samaria for the atrocities of October 7th.

So who exactly is supposed to fulfill these “conditions” to allow for the creation of a state called “Palestine” in the Jewish ancestral homeland?

    A society that glorifies terrorism?
A terror group tied to Iran and Qatar?
A corrupt Authority that pays salaries to murderers?

    It’s a diplomatic fantasy. A political placebo.
A way for world leaders to pretend they are solving something, while ignoring the ideology driving the conflict.

Our jihadi Muslim enemy will never meet the requirements for statehood because the requirements demand abandoning the very identity their society has been built on for generations.

My friend Eugene Kontorovich goes further and explains that the new Security Council resolution actually destroys the core claims the world has been using against Israel for years.

The resolution makes explicit that a Palestinian state does not exist, which should be the death knell for the ICC’s political lawfare and a deep embarrassment to every government and academic who pretended otherwise, from Paris and London to the entire international-law establishment that has recognized “Palestine” as a state.

The resolution also makes it clear that there is no legal or practical obligation whatsoever to create a Palestinian state.

Even more importantly, the resolution states plainly that Gaza “threatens the security of neighboring states,” meaning Gaza threatens Israel, not the other way around. Goodbye to the genocide narrative. And goodbye to the UN’s old role of dictating terms to Israel; when it comes to the “rebuilding of Gaza,” the UN is now pushed to the sidelines, and replaced by Trump’s “Gaza peace team”.

So yes, the idea of a Palestinian state is placed on the table, but only as a hollow gesture that everyone knows will never materialize. And this time, the international community, including Russia, China and the Arab Muslim world, is openly giving Israel the green light to finish the job in Gaza. The moment international forces inevitably fail to disarm Hamas and demilitarize Gaza, Israel is authorized to step in and do it ourselves.

And let’s be honest: of course the international community will fail. I’m sure President Trump has every intention of them succeeding. But, no foreign army, not the Europeans, not the Arab armies, not the UN, not even the U.S. military, is going to risk its soldiers’ lives going tunnel to tunnel in Gaza against Hamas terrorists to disarm them.

Only the IDF is willing to do what must be done.

But even with all this positive real-politic in Trump’s 20-point plan, now approved by the UN Security Council, we cannot ignore the elephant in the room…

The biggest unanswered question is what happens about the part of rebuilding Gaza after the IDF eventually disarms Hamas and fully demilitarizes Gaza?

After October 7th, Israelis will never allow any of Gaza, whether the part already under Israeli control or not, to be rebuilt for the same Gazan population that openly supported the Oct. 7th massacre, as we all know that they would simply prepare for the next one.

This is the core concern troubling Israelis about Trump’s 20-point plan, now adopted as a UN resolution: the world wants to rebuild Gaza for Gazans, while Israelis refuse to rebuild the launching pad for the next October 7th invasion and massacre.

After what we lived through, Israelis want to look out toward the Mediterranean and see open horizon, or Jewish homes in Gaza, not rebuilt Gazan homes for the jihadi Muslim enemy population in Gaza that would once again bring the fear, and the reality, of another Oct. 7th.

The fuller picture behind all this diplomacy is simple: Trump and Netanyahu are working together to build a new economic supply chain linking the U.S. to India through the Middle East. To make that happen, Trump needs Saudi Arabia and other Arab states on board, which means throwing them diplomatic gestures they can sell at home.

But if this grand strategy ignores the core truth of the jihadi Muslim Middle East, and demands that Israel pay the price by sacrificing our sovereignty over our ancestral lands or endangering our lives, then the entire plan will collapse. No regional vision can succeed if it is built on illusions about the nature of our enemies, or on the backs of 10 million Israelis who refuse to be the “cost of doing business.”

If the world were morally sane, it would state clearly:
No Palestinian state will emerge from the ashes of a genocidal attack. Israel has every right, and every obligation, to liberate and remain in all of Gaza, after demilitarizing it, in order to protect the State of Israel and its citizens.

There can be no role in Gaza for Qatar, Turkey, or Egypt, and obviously not Iran, all of whom enable, fund, or promote the same jihadi Muslim ideology that fuels Hamas. Allowing any of these regimes to shape Gaza’s future would simply guarantee the next generation of terror.

But since the world refuses to speak truth, Israel must.

The only way to end the Gaza nightmare is through a Jewish vision rooted in reality:

    – Hamas must be eliminated completely.
    – All of Gaza must be permanently demilitarized under Israeli control.
    – Trump’s Gaza emigration plan must be implemented, because a society that overwhelmingly supports genocide cannot live on Israel’s border.
    – Israel must assert full Jewish sovereignty and security responsibility from the river to the sea, with Jewish rebuilding everywhere.

    Appeasement will not bring peace.
A Palestinian state will not bring peace.
International monitors will not bring peace.
Leaving a jihadi Muslim population in the very place from which they attack us will never bring peace.

Only Jewish strength, Jewish sovereignty, Jewish resettlement and Jewish moral clarity can secure a future for 10 million Israelis and every minority in our midst also threatened by the jihadi Muslim enemy.

This is the vision the world fears to articulate, but the Jewish people must.

Because the days of surviving are over.
Now is the time to lead.

And above all, remember this: God laughs at the plans of men.

The Jewish people have returned as sovereigns in our eternal ancestral homeland, and no diplomatic maneuver or global pressure can overturn God’s promise.

Strengthen your faith in Hashem. Stand tall. Great times are coming for Am Yisrael, greater than anything we’ve seen in generations.

    Am Yisrael Chai.

  2. I just came across an article about a “near miss” that a young female tourist had re muslims.

The article refers to two Scandinavian girls who were raped, tortured and murdered by Moroccan muslims:

“The Muslim men filmed the beheading of one woman, posted it online, and sent the video directly to her mother.”

THAT’s what we’re dealing with. No such thing as “compromise”.

  3. Well, it is easy to have the clarity. But the problem is that we may not have enough strength to achieve it.
Without American support we can be crashed.

You could argue that in the year 70 of common era, the religious Zealots had moral clarity. But they did not have enough strength to defeat the imperial Rome. The end result was 1900 years of exile, with pogroms and genocides.

The only thing is that we should be speaking honestly and openly about our perspective.
    This is our land.
    Arabs are occupiers, colonists.
If we are forced to compromise, openly state that we are only agreeing o this under duress and therefore without legal validity.

    • Vivarto: “If we are forced to compromise, openly state that we are only agreeing o this under duress and therefore without legal validity.”

There is no such option called “compromise”. And do you really think that anyone is concerned that we did this (compromise) under duress and therefore without legal validity. As I said before, the laws as written are virtually useless. After WWII the only use for the law was to execute some of those responsible. All very well, but in the meantime we lost 6 Million, “illegally”.

  4. As usual, the MSM will say it’s all the fault of the Jews – the problems began when Israel defended herself! I agree with this article, there is no appeasing Amalek, and there is no room for equivocation. Israel must defend herself now and with full force, because that is their right and because it’s the only language that Amalek understands.

  5. “…they don’t care about losing their lives, because they believe they gain honor, paradise, and victory through death….”

No argument in this case. Why do we persist in keeping them alive when they want death?

We Jews are usually very accommodating…

  6. As anyone here read David Mamet’s “The Wicked Son: Anti-Semitism, self-hatred and the Jews” lately? It came out in 2006, i had it on my shelves for a while and just started reading it.

One of the bold things he says is that there is no rational argument against the “psychosis” of Jew hatred. True. This answers what to do about jihad in Israel and elsewhere. Don’t justify defending against it, as in “Look how nice we have been to you, and yet over the decades you kill us.”

    Just demolish jihad.

  7. Part of the problem is explaining why Jews have a right to defend themselves. I support the very brave and righteous Avi but these explanations become a legalistic trap for Jews. It is arguing for the right to defend oneself, coming from the less than fully human status picked up while living in exile.

Jews can never win like this. There will always be a “Yes, But…” In other words, Jews don’t deserve full human respect but must beg to be allowed to exist.

Better to say, Since you want to kill me, I will kill you. Period.

    • I’m definitely not into “legalistic traps”. I find the laws as written by men, to be hopelessly inadequate. It’s rather like when you are facing a gunman intent on immediately killing you, the prosecutor (of course!) will insist that legally one is supposed to call the police!

I think we’re all on the same page here. If only we could get our fellow Jews, particularly those living in Israel, to be fully realistic. There are no other ways out. Just ask the average Western European…

      • Those living in Israel and most other places are not really allowed to defend themselves by using weapons of any kind. The exception in Israel is the IDF and the police with the Shin Beth and some other government units. That makes it all too easy!! Give reservists their weapons back, right now!! Especially those living in J&S.

      • “Fully realistic” is a good phrase. We have to mount an aggressive campaign calling BS on mental traps that keep Jews from appropriate action against their enemies. This passivity, this futile justifying one’s natural right to self defense….this too is a pathology.

Kahane said, “Every Jew a twenty two.” Israel must create a Second Amendment, and fast.

    • Madeline, thanks for your message. It is definitely the case that Jews always need to justify their attempts to defend themselves.
Sarcastically, it is very unfair of the Jews to build shelters that those attacking us didn’t have the foresight to build for their populations. In the very special case of terror organizations, they dig tunnels to hide their missiles and themselves but not the populace.
Unfortunately, the religious level in Islam has a lot of power. They require adherence to the 5 times daily prayer sessions where the latest requirements for their behavior, including the indoctrination of their families are passed on to the attending men. No other religion takes this approach quite so seriously. This has reached the point where numerous cities around the world allow the muezzin to blast their calls to prayer so loudly that normal life is interrupted till all the faithful are assembled. Sure, you can argue that church bells can also interrupt daily life on occasion but not 5 times a day, every day.

      • “Unfortunately, the religious level in Islam has a lot of power.”

Not sure if Trump realizes this in his dealings with the Saudis. I’m sure MBS hasn’t forgotten or ignored the teachings of the Koran.
