No, I am not thinking of the twenty (?) surviving captives in the clutches of the Muslim Brotherhood demons in Gaza who use them as slaves.
I am thinking of the soldiers in the Israeli army, according to the following information from YNETnews.com on July 28:
“The IDF has authorized the UAE to move forward with a plan to build a new water line from an Egyptian desalination plant in Sinai…the four food distribution centers have become a tragic farce [but there are] plans to double their number and establish four similar centers in north Gaza…Israel plans to increase fuel shipments to Gaza…over the weekend Netanyahu approved the resumption of electricity supply to the southern desalination plant in Deir al-Balah…”
Israel has become a major supplier to the enemies of Israel of food and water to enable the enemy to go on killing more Israeli soldiers.
What is going on here?
One YNET source reported, “The recent surge in Israeli aid to Gaza—implemented abruptly over the weekend–was crafted hastily and in secret, bypassing the security cabinet…the conduct of Israel’s political leadership since March has laid bare absence of clear strategic goals or long-term planning for the Gaza Strip.”
Bull’s eye. And that is because the prime minister and IDF commanders have no sense of the Israeli/Jewish right to claim the entirety of the Gaza Strip as rightfully Israeli territory, cf. The United Nations Charter of 1945.
If they did, they would also shamelessly demand that the enemy Muslims in the Strip go live someplace else. After 80 years of Arabs in Gaza bleeding Israel in terrorist atrocities and major IDF operations, it is time for Israel to act as a normal nation. In human history, there is nothing more no normal than wars at the end of which there are the victors who commonly take land away from the losers, particularly when the losers have been the aggressors and used the land to launch their attack.
Indeed, think of much of the American West until the war with Mexico (1846-48) after which the USA kept about a third of that country’s territory. Even before then, the American Midwestern states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan; Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi and Alabama arose on land ceded by Britain to the Americans in the peace treaty of 1783 that ended the War of Independence.
How odd, then, that official Israel has never since 1967 reminded the world that the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine of 1922, incorporated into the United Nations Charter to 1945, labelled the Palestine they were creating, which included all the land from the river to the sea, to be Jewish land, noting the “historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine” and the “grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country.”
Israel has the right to claim all the Gaza Strip as Israeli land, and the right to evict its Muslim residents who have proven over 80 years to be on fire with homicidal Jew-hatred. Israel has the right not to have to tolerate next door such a society of antisemitic and sadistic homicidal sex manias.
Instead, under Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government, Israel has become a major participant in supplying this generation of goy Jew-killers with humanitarian aid without noting the inhumanity of this community of October 7, 2023. This is Zionism?
How has it happened that Israel has turned into a supplier of humanitarian provisions to the most inhuman, antisemitic Neanderthals since the Nazis?
One reason may be the secular Zionism the prime minister was raised in, he and the IDF brass; the belief that if the Jewish people stop living classical Jewish (religious) lives, they can live in peace with the Arabs. Indeed, one of the principles of Leftist Israeli ideology was the brainstorm of Yossi Beilin, architect of the Oslo abomination, who said, “If we define the conflict as religious, there can be no peace agreement. But if we define it as political, a conflict between nations, compromise becomes possible.”
Hence, the Israeli Left was a major manufacturer of the lie of a “Palestinian” people wanting their own state just like the Zionist Jews.
And to this day even the Israeli right opposed to Oslo is being led by a prime minister who believes friendship with the Saudis is just around the corner. For him, the road to peace is commerce. Let’s get the Saudis on board with the Abraham Accords which will be a win-win situation for Israel and all Accord member states, who will become so rich, they won’t even think of destroying Israel anymore. This was the thinking of the Marxist Shimon Peres no less.
For post-religious Israelis Left and Right, like Netanyahu and Peres, religion should play no role in Israel’s relations with the Arabs when religion to Muslims is everything to them. As Arabs, these Arabic-speakers have nothing to be proud of. Into the 20th century, they remained largely illiterate, nomadic outlaw brigands.
But as Muslims, they are in unique possession of the One True Faith of Ibrahim and have the mission, the jihad, to destroy all other religions in the world.
It is simply pathetic that Israel has become a mainstay supporter of the Jew-hating rapists and murderers of October 7, and that is because official Israel ignores its Jewish right to call the Gaza Strip part of its ancient Promised Land, and no less the right of a normal nation to take the spoils of war from a defeated enemy and evict his people from the land taken.
The Prime Minister’s is an adolescent fantasy of a reconstructed Gaza run by “Palestinian technocrats” with Israel in charge of security. This envisions Israel once again policing the Muslims in Gaza as between 1967 and 2005, which is the last thing it should want out of this war.
The only sure end to the decades of atrocities launched at Israel from the Gaza Strip is, if not ethnic than religious cleansing of its million-plus freeloaders on the UNRWA rolls, and its annexation as a legitimate part of the State of Israel.

I couldn’t agree more with Shai’s article. When secular Jews run the country, bad things happen. I happen to be a non-practicing Jewish Canadian who does study Torah and wants Judaism to thrive. I don’t want Israel to simply be another strong military western style nation. I want Israel to a be a strong Jewish nation.
Although I refuse to attack Bibi especially now during serious existential threats from both outside and inside Israel. It is a most thankless job.
I see that amongst a list of nations recognised by the UN isThe Muslim Brothers. Since when are they a nation?? That’s a misprint if ever I saw one.
Shai is slandering the Neanderthals by comparing them to the Arabs of Gaza. The paleontologists who have studied the Neanderthals think most of them were peaceful hominins. Not all, maybe, but most. They think that the “archaic” homo sapiens were more warlike.
Famous Jewish actor Mandy Patinkin has made an anti-Israel, pro-Hamas advertisement requesting donations to relieve the “starvation” in Gaza.
Self-betrayal seems to be one of our national characteristics.
