The evening before two years ago today, I was with my middle daughter Jessie and her husband Nik’s beautiful family celebrating Shimini atzeret, the end of Sukkot, at a Chabad tent in the pouring rain in Jacksonville, Florida.
I returned to their home contemplating my next analysis of events happening in the ever turbulent Middle East.
I dozed off watching Fox News (one of
the best sources) for the latest reports and was awakened by my Son-in-Law on Simchat Torah to learn of what was transpiring in Israel on October 7th, 2023.
I wish I could say that I was surprised.
Enraged, yes, but surprised…no.
These were the same supremacist, jihadi butchers who had slaughtered and maimed thousands of Israeli Jews and others associated with them in years past on civilian buses, in restaurants, teen nightclubs, Passover seders, ice cream and pizza parlors, and so forth.
The despicable subhuman beasts even built a museum on a university campus displaying models of Jewish body parts hanging from the ceiling of the Sbarro pizzeria they blew up….Sick.
Who does this deliberate, bloodthirsty, unbelievable stuff?
The same folks who DELIBERATELY gassed to death and otherwise slaughtered over 250,000 Kurds in the ANFAL Campaign in Iraq, murdered hundreds of thousands in black Africa, slaughters innocent Hindus, Druse, Assyrian Christians, and so forth.
Hint: It ain’t Jews…

Thus, whether a hypocritical world agrees and/or likes it or not, this is the very real nature of the unparalleled, gruesome enemy that Israel faces. No other nation nor people would be expected to put up with what Israel has repeatedly endured.
And don’t dare bring up the alleged “innocent” Arab refugee argument.

With such a totally rejectionist, bloodlust oriented foe, there can be no compromise—unless Israel masochistically chooses, or has its collective arms twisted by its “friends” as in a Neville Chamberlain sellout of Czechoslovakia in 1938 for “peace for our time “‘–to allow Hamas and its allies to repeat October 7th over and over again, as it has promised to do.

The Answer To “Itbach al-Yahud” Is Not Ceasefire But Victory…
There have been thousands of rockets fired into Israel, each of them a declaration of war, and each of them, at the very least, attempted mass slaughter. When Israel manages to shoot them down, they are discounted and are no longer attempted murder. What an evil world we live in. Actually, Israel should be just as indiscriminately shooting rockets or bombing the regions where those rockets were ignited, but not just pounding sand as is often the case. In essence, the same is true of the incendiary devices hung on balloons that were sent over the border when the wind was right. The little that grows in the Gaza Strip could have been destroyed multiple times if only Israel was as genocidal as it is claimed.
It is a mistake to even attempt to negotiate with mass murderers. For one thing, a person who is a mass murderer doesn’t need to learn to negotiate, they just kill whomever they disagree with.
Given that Trump himself knows with whom he is dealing, it is a mystery to me why he would even think about it, let alone put his reputation on the line for it.
What we are seeing in Trump 2.0 is a pro-jihadi President. I could be misunderstanding his motives, but because I am not a mind reader I can only examine his actions. I will just -list the actions that appear to me to be pro-jihadi:
1. Saving the Ayatollahs when Israel had them on the ropes
2. Appeasing Qatar
3. Appeasing Erdogan of Turkey
4. Appeasing Al-Jolani of Syria by taking that country off the terror watch list. When members of his government went around the country killing Alawites, Christians, and Druze, Trump and Barrack said nothing.
5. Appeasing Hamas, as in giving them one deadline after another even though they have already broken the ceasefire by firing rockets at Israel.
That about sums up the Middle East jihadist networks, and despite Trump’s appeasement of the mass murderers, Israel is still succeeding in the efforts to destroy Hamas, and will finish the war if Trump will get out of the way.
Now if Trump insists on staying in the way, we will know he is no different than all the other past presidents who would not allow Israel to win any defensive war.
I am troubled by Trump’s narrative that he has been able to make peace all over the world when the two major conflicts, that of Ukraine and of Israel/Gaza are the two conflicts on which he has had little positive effect.
Maybe it would have been better to have not done all the appeasing of the worst jihadist murderers and instead, he could have gotten out of the way and let Israel just win her own war.
