Vatican Blood Libels Israel On the Eve of October 7th

Peloni:  As noted by @_Semper_Virilis below, the Pope is vocal about the non-genocide against the Arab Palestinians while remaining deafly silent on the very real genocide against the Christians taking place across Africa.

On the eve of the memorial of the largest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust, the Vatican stands with the jihad.

Just like Hitlers pope. The new Pope is following in the bloody footsteps of Pope Pius XII who was complicit with the Nazi regime.

The Vatican’s latest attack against the Jewish state is especially since the Muslims are slaughtering Christians in a real genocide in Africa and Muslim countries in Middle East. Christians are becoming extinct everywhere in the Middle East except for Israel. Christians are under relentless attack by the same jihadist terror that Israel is facing.

Top Vatican cardinal says Israel carrying out massacre in Gaza

By Joshua McElwee, October 6, 2025:

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) -The Vatican’s top diplomat sharply criticised Israel’s “ongoing massacre” in Gaza in comments published on Monday – one of the Catholic Church’s strongest condemnations of Israel’s war against the militant group Hamas.

In an interview tied to the second anniversary of Hamas’ attack on Israeli communities on October 7, 2023, Cardinal Pietro Parolin also called those attacks “inhuman and indefensible” and urged Hamas to free remaining hostages.

“Those who are attacked have a right to defend themselves, but even legitimate defence must respect the principle of proportionality,” said Parolin, the Vatican secretary of state and one of Pope Leo’s top deputies.

“The war waged by the Israeli army to eliminate Hamas militants disregards the fact that it is targeting a largely defenceless population, already pushed to the brink, in an area where buildings and homes are reduced to rubble,” he said.

“It is … clear that the international community is, unfortunately, powerless and that the countries truly capable of exerting influence have so far failed to act to stop the ongoing massacre,” Parolin told the Vatican’s media outlet.

The Vatican, which has embassies in many capitals, normally uses guarded language in addressing conflicts, preferring to avoid press coverage and operate behind the scenes.

But Leo, elected in May after the death of Pope Francis, has been stepping up criticism of Israel’s campaign in Gaza.

    “sspx stance towards jews”

“The Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) adheres to pre-Vatican II theology. Their stance is rooted in traditional supersessionism and the belief that non-Catholics must convert to achieve salvation. Consequently, they reject modern Catholic-Jewish reconciliation and the teachings of the Second Vatican Council. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Rejection of Vatican II and Nostra Aetate
    * Traditional Teachings: The SSPX rejects Nostra Aetate—the 1965 Vatican II declaration that repudiated the concept of Jewish collective guilt for the death of Jesus and condemned antisemitism. [1, 2, 3]
    * Conversion: The society maintains the pre-conciliar position that Judaism is an incomplete or superseded faith, and they explicitly pray for the conversion of the Jewish people to Catholicism. [1, 2, 3]

    Controversies and Stance
    * Official Statements: Former SSPX Superior General Bishop Bernard Fellay has drawn international backlash for referring to Jewish people as “enemies of the Church” in the context of their opposition to traditionalist Catholicism. The Vatican formally rejected these remarks. [1, 2, 3]
    * Holocaust Denial: The group has faced intense scrutiny over instances of Holocaust denial propagated by some of its prominent members, notably Bishop Richard Williamson (who was later expelled from the society). [1, 2]
    * SSPX Defense: The SSPX officially rejects the label of racial or ethnic antisemitism. They assert that their opposition to Jewish groups is strictly theological, stemming from a duty to defend the Catholic faith from groups they view as hostile to its mission. [1, 2]

    • candace owens j.d. vance sspx?

Both Candace Owens and J.D. Vance are high-profile political and media figures who converted to the Catholic Church, but neither belongs to the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), an ultra-traditionalist, breakaway traditionalist sect. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The specific context of their religious affiliations includes:
      * Candace Owens: She converted to Catholicism and was baptized in April 2024 at the Brompton Oratory in London. Owens often associates with traditionalist and conservative Catholic circles, but her affiliation is with the mainstream Catholic Church. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
      * J.D. Vance: The U.S. Vice President converted to Catholicism in 2019. While he is drawn to traditionalist theology and has publicly clashed with Pope Leo XIV over issues like immigration and just war theory, he remains in communion with Rome. [1, 2]
      * The SSPX: The SSPX (Society of St. Pius X) is a traditionalist fraternity that operates largely outside the authority of the Vatican. While both Owens and Vance are conservative converts known for holding “trad” or right-wing cultural views, they practice their faith within the mainstream Catholic Church rather than the breakaway SSPX. +6 Tucker Carlson is not officially affiliated with the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), an international traditionalist Catholic priestly fraternity known for celebrating exclusively the Traditional Latin Mass. However, his move toward traditionalist Christian and Catholic themes has frequently intersected with SSPX media and commentators. The convergence between Carlson and the SSPX centers on several key points:Lockdown Stances: The SSPX is often praised by traditionalists for not closing its chapels during the COVID-19 pandemic, a stance that has aligned with Carlson’s vocal opposition to government lockdown mandates.Media Coverage: SSPX figures, such as Fr. Kevin Robinson, have appeared in traditionalist media discussions commenting on Carlson’s interviews.Broader Traditionalist Appeal: Carlson—who identifies as an Episcopalian but heavily covers Christian and Catholic themes on his platform—hosted high-profile Catholic guests like Bishop Robert Barron on his podcast. These types of interviews resonate with SSPX followers, even though the SSPX rejects the Second Vatican Council reforms that mainstream bishops like Barron support.Controversies: Because of Carlson’s right-wing political commentary and outspoken focus on spiritual and cultural issues, his work is frequently discussed, shared, and debated within traditionalist Catholic spheres.

        • father coughlin sspx

+12 Father Charles Coughlin was a 1930s “radio priest” notorious for his populist, antisemitic, and pro-fascist broadcasts. While he was never affiliated with the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX)—which was founded decades later—his far-right, antisemitic rhetoric still appeals to some fringe, traditionalist factions within modern SSPX communities.Father Coughlin’s History and IdeologyThe “Radio Priest”: Father Charles Coughlin was a Canadian-American Catholic priest who founded the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak, Michigan.National Influence: During the Great Depression, his CBS and nationally syndicated radio programs reached tens of millions of listeners.Shift to Extremism: Initially a supporter of Franklin D. Roosevelt, his radio shows and magazine, Social Justice, later promoted The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, blamed Jewish financiers for the global economic crisis, and expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.Silencing: In 1942, under mounting pressure from the Roosevelt administration and his Catholic superiors, he was forced off the airwaves. He remained a parish priest until his retirement in 1966, dying in 1979.The SSPX ConnectionNo Official Ties: Father Coughlin was a mainstream diocesan priest and never had any association with the SSPX, an international traditionalist Catholic priestly fraternity established in 1970.Ideological Overlap: Because of his traditionalist Catholicism, extreme anti-communism, and historical antisemitism, modern adherents of the SSPX or other extreme traditionalist movements sometimes venerate Coughlin’s political and religious views.Complex Reception: The SSPX as an organization does not officially represent Father Coughlin, but his legacy often circulates in radical and right-wing fringe communities aligned with the ultra-traditionalist movement.

  2. How odd it is that Cardinal Parolin requires Israel to respect the ‘principle of proportionality’ but does not apply the same criteria to, let’s say, the Russian -Ukrainian war. Or any other conflict now in progress on this wonderful planet of ours.

  3. The Vaticans support for Hamas and false accusations against Israel are serious threats to Israel and Jews generally. The pope has considerable prestige and influence among the worlds Catholics, who number as many as one billion people worldwide. While the pope’s accusations against Israel essentially echo the similar allegations of the European Union, the pope has more moral authority among Catholics than the EU.

  4. Email received:

Pope Leo’s criticism of the so-called Israeli ‘genocide’ of the “Palestinian” people (as Israel fights an existential, defensive war on seven fronts) echoes the sentiments of Pope Pius XII’s complicity with the Nazis. Cardinal Parolin adds his voice to the false claims that Israel is carrying out a ‘massacre in Gaza.’

The Vatican leadership is strangely silent on the mass murder of Christians in Nigeria and Syria, the shariah-mandated beheadings in Iran and Saudi Arabia, and modern slavery in Mauritania, Eritrea and Sudan.

Despite having the hubris to absolve Jews of the murder of JC with Nostra Aetate in 1965, the blood libels continue in full force and effect from the Catholic quarter.

The largest Christian denomination in the world, with 2.3 to 2.6 billion followers, continues its history of attacking Jews. From its past of banishing, ghettoization, forced conversions, child kidnappings, and protecting fleeing Nazis, as well as hoarding Jewish artifacts, the Church persists in spreading the worst blood libels about the Jewish people.

How are these actions consonant with soi-disant “Christian values?”

  5. I had hoped this Pope would be better than the late Pope Frankie, but he’s just as bad. I guess most of his flock in Israel are Arabs, so he backs the Arab narrative, but we need someone like John Paul II or Benedict XVI to remind him where his moral and spiritual duty lies – with the Jews. Jesus and all the early church were Jews. No Muslims in sight.

  6. … and again, the pope hides behind a cloak of deniability. It was his top diplomat who did the nasty deed, not him. But just as long as they can ignore what is going on in the rest of the world, they can enjoy, once again, beating up the Jews.

I think it’s time to remind him that
    a) Jesus was a Jew,
    b) That the Eternal promised to rejoin all of the “Children of Israel” in the Holy Land.

(The Children of Israel includes a lot more people than just the Jews, and there are many who were force-converted to Christianity and Islam over the centuries.)

I just wonder if the pope would like to stand in line with all the others in the Holy Land or be considered less connected to Jesus.

  7. It’s obviously much more important to deal with the Jews (all 15 million of us) than with the struggling Christians. Such is the church created by your typical Roman emperor (Constantine).
I should remind our Roman Catholic readers, if any, that it is not necessary to worship under the mantle of any organization, least of all a political one albeit full of physical grandeur.
