Peloni: We should only be so fortunate as to see the ceasefire upended so that the war aims might actually be fulfilled by the only party with the capability, interest and integrity to do so, which is the IDF of course.

Latest Developments
- Qatar Criticizes Israeli Strikes: The Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned Israeli strikes against Hamas positions in Gaza on November 19. The IDF launched the strikes after terrorists violated the nearly six-week-old ceasefire earlier in the day by opening fire on Israeli soldiers near the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis. No injuries were reported. Palestinian medics and the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health reported that at least 25 people were killed by the airstrikes, which were carried out in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City and in Khan Younis.
- IDF Dismantles Rocket Launcher, Reveals Hamas Activities in Beit Hanoun: The IDF said on November 20 that it had located and dismantled an eight-tube rocket launcher in Israeli-controlled territory east of the “Yellow Line,” which demarcates IDF-held territory in Gaza from areas controlled by Hamas. During the same operation, the IDF announced that it had located Kalashnikov rifles, grenades, explosives, weapons magazines, and military uniforms. Separately, the IDF revealed new footage filmed by Hamas of terrorists operating during the war from an elementary school in the northern city of Beit Hanoun, shedding light on the group’s extensive underground terror there.
- Former Israeli Hostage Recounts Sexual Abuse in Captivity: Former Israeli hostage Guy Gilboa-Dalal revealed details of sexual abuse he suffered during over two years in Hamas captivity, including an instance of a terrorist assaulting him after showering. “When I finish the shower, he drags me from there — from the shower. He doesn’t let me wear my clothes. He takes me back to their room, and then he throws me on one of their armchairs. He starts touching me all over my body,” he recalled on an Israeli television program. “I froze. I told him, ‘You’re joking, right? This is forbidden in Islam.’ He pointed a gun at my neck and told me that if I told someone, he would kill me.” Former hostage Rom Braslavski spoke about similar abuse, saying that his time in captivity was intended “to humiliate” him and that “the goal was to crush [his] dignity.”
FDD Expert Response
“Qatar’s condemnation stems from an Israeli response to an attack against IDF troops. With Hamas and its Palestinian allies still armed and active, persistent low-level harassment of IDF positions is likely to continue. The objective of armed groups is clear: sustain enough pressure on Israeli troops to compel a complete withdrawal from Gaza. Jerusalem should expect these tactics to evolve, with future terrorist operations potentially becoming more coordinated, sophisticated, and lethal.” — Joe Truzman, Senior Research Analyst and Editor at FDD’s Long War Journal
“Hamas’s repeated violations of the truce demonstrate that — despite the terrible cost to Gaza — the terrorists do not believe they are defeated, and they certainly haven’t surrendered. Hamas regards this ceasefire like the other ceasefires that the terror organization has agreed to over the years: as a temporary pause in hostilities while the terrorists build back and rearm.” — Enia Krivine, Senior Director of FDD’s Israel Program and National Security Network

What ceasefire? That’s supposed to be a threat? 😀 If the “ceasefire” ends, Hamas is toast.
So, the RESPONSE to the shooting not the shooting itself will upend the ceasefire. Fuck qatar.
