DNI Gabbard warns of Islamization ongoing in US

Peloni: This marks the first indication of the Trump administration’s intention to deal with the rising threat of Islamization in the US.  It is well overdue after months of calls for action to be taken regarding such Islamization campaigns taking place in TX, FL, MI and elsewhere in the US, not to mention the election of the Islamist allied mayor of NYC.  It will be interesting to see how Trump deals with the moral and practical conflicts which exist in any attempt to create carveouts for the Islamists ideology in Qatar and Turkey will  any calls to deal the rising threat of Islamization in the US today.  The two policies are mutually exclusive and directly relatable.

More specific to Gabbard herself, it is important to watch her speech here and recall that she has been almost uniquely wrong on the issue of Islamists going back to her opposition of blocking the JCPOA, her advocacy of the Islamist project of the creating a second Muslim Palestinian state, and her co-sponsoring a bill which legitimized the anti-Israel BDS campaign.  While she is today the head of the US intelligence services, at the time of her gross incompetence listed above, which was a very abbreviated list of her misguided preference for Islamist causes, she held security clearances which should have informed her well enough then to be stating what she is saying today.

  1. This was a typically “Tulsi” speech, mostly “rah, rah”. It began with a lot of generalities about “Freedom”. The speech was not really an official policy statement, but it did perhaps contain some clues to the thinking inside the Trump administration. One of the specific points she touched on was about the threat of Islamization in the US. Hopefully this means that this administration will aggressively take on the problem. This will require not only actions by the administration, but legislation from Congress, and strong, unequivocal rulings from our highest courts, that Islam and Sharia law are antithetical to the US Constitution, and cannot stand. Tulsi then took a strange diversion to take a swipe at the Military Industrial Complex and “warmongers”. OK, fine. Whatever. Then she finished with a gratuitous Charlie Kirk memoir and good Christmas wishes for everyone. What I wanted to hear in Tulsi’s speech, was a strong statement against Islamization. It wasn’t quite. Maybe this wasn’t the right venue, but it was mentioned, so let’s just hope that part of her speech is a shadow of things to come, and not just lip service.

  2. “Tulsi Gabbard speaks with Christian-like themes because she was raised in a household where she studied both the Bible and the Bhagavad Gita, embracing Hindu principles like Bhakti Yoga (loving service to God) and Karma Yoga (selfless action) that resonate with universal spiritual values found in many faiths, including Christianity, focusing on love, service, and devotion to God, which she sees as common spiritual paths.
    Key Reasons for Her Language:
Dual Upbringing: Her mother was Hindu, and her father was Catholic, exposing her from childhood to both Christian and Hindu scriptures and practices.
Universal Spiritual Principles: Gabbard emphasizes core spiritual tenets like serving others, loving God, and finding inner peace, which are central to both Christianity and her Vaishnava Hindu practice.
Bhakti & Karma Yoga: She draws heavily from Bhakti Yoga (devotion to God) and Karma Yoga (selfless action), concepts found in the Bhagavad Gita that align with Christian ideals of love and service.
Shared Foundations: Gabbard highlights that the Bhagavad Gita teaches timeless truths applicable to all, regardless of specific religious labels, explaining the overlap in her message.
In essence, Gabbard’s language reflects a synthesis of her diverse spiritual background, focusing on universal themes of love, duty, and spiritual devotion that connect her Hindu faith with common Christian moral and spiritual concepts. “
