Peloni: The lack of treating crimes as criminals is the best evidence of the decline of the West. This fact is made all the more substantive as the crimes include weaponization of selective applications of the law, and complacency amid systemic election fraud, and the unhindered use of medical countermeasures which are shown to be toxic and contaminated. Legal redress should not require civil law suits by the public, but by full enforcement of the law regardless of the political arrangements held by those who committed these and other crimes, great and small. Perhaps 2026 will see the law better applied to these past crimes by the current administration, or, perhaps, it will see the established protections afforded to the established elites maintained indefinitely as the decline of the West continues unhindered on a bipartisan basis.

Looking back at 2025, the most stunning takeaway is the sheer, almost incomprehensible scale of Democrat criminality: high crimes committed openly, systematically, and with total impunity—without prosecutions, without reforms, without consequences. Power insulated itself from law, corruption was normalized as governance, and accountability was erased as an operating principle. In a functioning republic, crimes trigger investigations and punishment; in 2025 America, they triggered silence, cover-ups, and escalation. What shocked the nation was not merely the wrongdoing, but the unmistakable message it sent: the law no longer applies to Democrats
Nothing is done—and that is the most dangerous fact of all. The American people have watched billions—perhaps trillions—of taxpayer dollars vanish through systemic fraud, waste, and abuse, with no serious investigations, no prosecutions, and no accountability. They have watched an election system lose public confidence amid mass mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting schemes, unsecured drop boxes, opaque vote counting, and voting-machine irregularities—yet every demand for transparency was smeared as subversion and buried by the same institutions tasked with oversight. They witnessed January 6 transformed from a protest into a pretext for an unprecedented campaign of political repression: pre-dawn raids, indefinite detentions, excessive sentences, and selective justice aimed at ordinary Americans, while the organizers, enablers, and security failures at the top were shielded. They were told to accept a climate agenda built on politicized models and coercive mandates that transferred trillions in wealth, crushed energy independence, raised costs for families, and hollowed out the middle class—without debate, dissent, or consent. They watched Donald Trump, the leading opposition figure, subjected to a barrage of prosecutions across jurisdictions—lawfare deployed as a substitute for winning elections—while allies of the ruling class enjoyed immunity. They saw surveillance powers turned inward, with Republicans, parents, journalists, and political opponents monitored and intimidated without probable cause. They saw members of Congress (ie Pelosi, Ilhan Omar et al) accrue massive wealth from insider stock market trading and/or money laundering taxpayer-funded NGOs. And nothing is done.
The consequence of this lawless governance is profound: when rules apply only to enemies, justice collapses; when power is never punished, corruption metastasizes; when dissent is criminalized, liberty dies. A nation cannot survive indefinitely when wrongdoing is rewarded, truth is suppressed, and nothing is done.

We have seen Trump’s FBI/DOJ taking action to investigate wrongs by Democrats and/or their supporters. For instance criminal actions against Letitia James and James Comey were dismissed by a court of first instance. The DOJ is appealing.
The Democrat reaction to the DOJ’s/FBI’s investigating and taking action against Democrats or their supporters is to accuse Trump/DOJ of malicious Lawfare against those Trump considered enemies.
The Democrats like the left wing have distinguished themselves as accusing Trump and the right of engaging in lawfare when it is the Democrats that notoriously engaged in it against their perceived enemies including Trump.
The psychological word “projection” is meant to describe the propensity of one politically influenced group to always accuse a politically influenced group for wrongs that only the accusing group is guilty of.
My own thoughts to the letter… Just too damned comfortable…
I couldn’t say it better. We are so f@#$#$.
