Peloni: Libels, half truths, and misdirections…
Note the final paragraph of the TOI article which includes the suggestion that some of Carlson’s statement were reminiscent of the far left in the US, which should be have come at the beginning of the column as it is the focus of Carlson to do what the far left can not, ie legitimize Jew Hatred in the eyes of Trump’s base, split Trump’s party and defeat Trump in the coming midterms while providing protective rhetoric to both Qatar and Iran.
Debate requires honest reporting and substantiated factual bases of what is discussed, which is why this debate with an cloaked Obama-lyte commentator should not have taken place, and why US conservatives should not continue providing Carlson a prominent position on the Right. Instead, they should recognize their opposition when they see it. Failing to do so only advances the demise of the America First agenda as the Iranian menace is left in place to become an even more radical and far more dangerous threat to America and the West than North Korea will ever be
In program including interview with Huckabee, right-wing commentator launches litany of unsubstantiated claims echoing antisemitic tropes, falsely says Herzog visited Epstein island

In a program released Friday following his brief visit to Israel, right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson claimed the Israeli government targeted his family, called the Jewish state “probably the most violent country on earth” and falsely said President Isaac Herzog had visited Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous island, apparently citing a fake AI-generated image that had circulated online.
He also called Israel a police state, questioned its right to exist and the historic ties of the Jewish population to the land, accused the country of controlling US policy, and made various other unsupported claims associated with antisemitic tropes.
Carlson, a leading critic of Israel on the right, came to Israel on Wednesday to interview US Ambassador Mike Huckabee. According to some reports, he never left the airport area and departed immediately afterward. The Friday program included his interview with Huckabee as well as solo segments in which he railed against Israel.
Speaking alone, Carlson said: “There was a threat to my family. The Israeli government, and [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu himself, tried to punish two members of my family. I won’t be more specific, but actually punish two members of my family because he, as he has said in public many times, believes in blood guilt, Amalek. You know, when someone commits a crime against you, you punish not just him, but his family, his bloodline.”
Carlson did not give any more details or offer evidence to substantiate his claim. Netanyahu has never stated that he believes in “blood guilt” or in collective punishment of Israel’s enemies. His mention of the biblical Amalekites in the wake of the October 7 attack was a reference to genocidal threats to the people of Israel throughout history.

I actually do not think Tucker Carlson has created a huge wedge in MAGA. I think there are VERY FEW people in the US (other than Muslims) who hate Jews. Last I looked, Muslims are not part of MAGA.
I do not think Carlson has been successful in dividing MAGA. Yes it is shocking to us as Jews to read about anyone in the US who is not an avowed Nazi, talking about Jews in a hateful way. But that is not the same thing as actually creating a “huge wedge” in the Republican party.
The only reason it appears as if there is a “huge wedge,” is what is called a PSYOP. Many X posts written by bots appearing to be “Republican” and Jew hating.
I don’t buy that Carlson has done any major harm to MAGA. He’s done most harm to himself, and he’s also damaged the Jew haters from the left and from any other quarter, because Carlson is so hateful.
But if anyone starts to name the people who publicly have come out as Jew haters, you get a list of at most 20 people! Maybe they each have followers, but we cannot know how many of the followers actually agree with these Jew haters, and we cannot make assumptions about how many of them are actually Jew haters.
Let’s not get hysterical about people like Carlson and Candace Owens who are basically pathetic, sick people. I just do not think they have any power at all. You can give them power if you want, but I don’t think it’s healthy to ascribe power to psychopaths who are just pathetic people.
Tucker Carlson reminds me of Lonesome Rhodes.

Carlson deserves to be raped by hamas and burn in hell.
At this point, any Republican who doesn’t outright denounce fucker qatarlson will not get my vote.
I hope Ted Cruz runs for president.
Tucker Carlson and the Woke Reich are a Cancer https://open.substack.com/pub/lel817/p/carlson-and-the-woke-reich-are-a?utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web
Let’s assume you are Qatar and you are allied with The Ikhwan – Muslim Brotherhood. You hate Israel, but something is standing in your way: Israel.
Israel’s greatest ally is Trump led America. Trump’s political party, The Republicans, has voters who are pro-Israel, vs. the Democrat Party and its voters who hate Israel.
So you need an advocate for Islam and against Israel. You find a famous Republican commentator who is a certifiable psychopath and a person who detests Jews and loathes Israel. He has a huge following. You pay him whatever he asks to make sure Republicans or at least Pro-Israel Republicans are never president again,
How does he do this? He drives a huge wedge in the party by creating a Jew hating wing of The Republican Party. He calls Christian supporters of Israel the most deranged, evil and stupid people on earth. He says that Islam is a very great religion and anyone opposed to Islam is wrong. He loves Qatar so much he says he’s biying a place there because Christians have more rights in Qatar than in Israel.
