Peloni: Trump refuses to release the details of what is being negotiated after referencing the Iranian 10 Point Plan, which is a surrender plan for the Us, and then he complains that there is a great deal of disinformation being discussed. Perhaps the lack of clarity on this topic was necessary for Trump’s negotiations to move forward, but it is also this which has caused the wellspring o what Trump describes as uninformed disinformation being spread throughout the media. So, for the moment, we don’t know what we don’t know, even as we are being told that it is somehow related, in one form or another, to a plan put forward calling for America to all but capitulate to Iran on nearly ever topic. Iran published a list of ten maximalist demands. Trump then posted on Truth Social, “We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.”
Many on social media are jumping to the conclusion that the points that Trump mentioned and the points that Iran published are identical. They are clearly not. How do we know? Because one of Iran’s published points was a cessation of hostilities in Lebanon, but Israeli operations there are continuing.
In addition, Trump told Mark Stone, “You don’t know what the points are. I know what they are. They’re very good points — and most of them have been fully negotiated. They’re not the maximalist demands Iran is claiming. If it isn’t good, we’ll go right back to it very easily.”
For background, here according to Iranian state media, is Iran’s propagandistic claim of what they are negotiating about:
1. Complete cessation of aggression against Iran
2. Continued Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz and coordination of passage through it.
3. Iran will be able to enrich uranium.
4. All primary sanctions will be lifted.
5. All secondary sanctions will be lifted.
6. Cancellation of all UN Security Council resolutions against Iran.
7. Cancellation of all Board of Governors resolutions of the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran.
8. Payment of compensation to Iran.
9. Withdrawal of US combat forces from the region.
10. Cessation of fighting on all fronts, including against the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.
