Missing the Point in Lebanon

Peloni:  Meetings between Israel and Lebanon, while historic, only serve to evade the reality which maintains such meetings as NOTHING more than political theatrics.  Trump can not be unaware of this fact, nor can his entire cabinet.  It does buy time for Trump to push Iran to give word of mouth to controlling Lebanon via its Hezbollah proxy, but this is not something which Iran will part with except by use of arms.  In other words, the war will either continue, or peace with Lebanon will not be possible any more than it has been in the past.

  1. America is turning against Israel at a time when ironically Israel is proving itself to be a loyal, capable, strong and valuable intelligence, military and technological asset. Contrary to what that pig Rahm Emanuel claims in order to curry favor with the antisemitic democrat party, Americans are not shedding blood for Israel, Israel is shedding its own blood, as it engages in the thick of the fight. Contrast that to other American allies which refuse to pull their own weight, let alone risk their lives in the fight against the global threat of Iran. Yet its Israel that the democrats wish to shed our alliance with, not the Europeans. It’s Europe, Japan, South Korea et al that we actually are committed to shedding our blood for with actual troops on the ground in those countries. I really hope that Israel will soon produce by themselves what they currently get from us. https://melaniephillips.substack.com/p/the-dawn-of-a-new-world-order?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=77655&post_id=195289183&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=false&r=1q2uiq&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email
