At this point, it might be wise to recall the description of an ambassador given by Sir Henry Wotton in 1604: ‘An ambassador is an honest gentleman sent to lie abroad for the good of his country”.
That’s bullshit. There’s no deep connection America has with Israel. Israel must immediately cut ties and make its own weapons.

With all due respect, you are wrong, dead wrong actually.
The foundation of the values enshrined in American from the outset of the founding of the American republic came from their admiration for the Jewish people and their attempts to emulate the values described in Jewish history as they built their new nation. It is a small irony that Ben Gurion found the Declaration of Independence such an attractive commentary because it captured the very teaching of human dignity which began with the Jewish People. Hence, employing the American Declaration as the foundation for the writing of the Declaration of Statehood for the reconstitution of the Israel state was an important point of recognizing the deep connection between America and the Jewish people, later the Jewish state, that you actually deny exists. It does exist, and it is both important and substantive, even if American politicians find it easier to ignore this fact as being true. Rather than accepting the lies which belie the inconvenient truth of this matter, we should acknowledge and celebrate the truth, which is that there is a deep and substantive connection between America and Israel, despite what our enemies would prefer were the the truth.
That connection is over, however. America today is not the same as our founding or even the America I grew up in. Most Americans today are anti-Israel. They aren’t listening and don’t care what Mike Huckabee says. He’s hated by the right as much as he’s hated by the left.

Really? If so, where are the results of this? If most Americans hate Israel, why are the Israel haters in the US congress a minority? Why did the US president run on a pro-Israel platform and win with a landslide?
Instead, where are the Jew Haters in America centered? Some would say within the normal supporters of the Democratic party, but I would not even agree with this. Recall that the urban centers in America have been swamped with foreign nationals. This is real source of support which came to support Mamdani. This is what it took to transformed Europe into a its fulminant Jew Hating region, in spite of Europe being a historically Jew Hating region. The same gameplan is being unrolled in America, and the consequences of the population distortion over the past decade, especially the last several years, is having an effect. This is why traditional Democrats are voting for a highly conservative Trump, and it is why Mamdani is being able to win over the Democratic party at large to in greater and greater degrees, because the Democratic party, while being depleted of all its Blue Dog voters, is being subsidized with millions of illegals who vote for the ever radical, anti-American, Jew Hating Democratic party.
So while you claim that the connection between America and Israel/Jews is over and that most Americans hate Israel, you miss the greater point that America is struggling to survive the population transfer which has radically shifted the demographics in America overnight. Given this fact, Americans deserve our respect and support as they battle to win back their country, not the reproach which you are espousing for their efforts to restore their great nation to the will of the people, the AMERICAN people.
But it’s trending in the opposite direction. The younger generation of AMERICAN BORN citizens in both parties is anti-Israel. Virtually the entire Democrat party hates Israel now and its starting to move in that direction in the GOP.

Look at what I stated. Where are the candidates being chosen by to represent this trend that you keep referencing. Where are the Jew Hating Republican candidates? Why are they not being publicized? Why do they not have a caucus? The most recognizable Republican candidate hoisting antisemitic themes is JD Vance, and not only is he not running for office at the moment, he didn’t run for the office of VP. He was appointed by Trump and Trump and Vance won the election while pushing a PRO-ISRAEL CAMPAIGN.
Americans deserve our support to win back their country, not our scorn or ridicule presuming that they already lost. Of course, we may lose this battle for the future of America, but are you seriously suggesting that we should pretend that the battle is over? It is certainly not over and suggesting that it is will only help turn myths into reality and that is something for which we should not give any support.
Please stop denigrating our allies in the US who are fighting for their future against the same scourge of Jew Hatred and totalitarianism which is simultaneously targeting Israel and Jews around the world.
The battle is over. We lost. There has been no letup of muslim immigration into our country under Trump. While the illegal border crossings have virtually been stopped, no one is talking about the problematic LEGAL immigrants coming here which Trump never addresses. Closing the porous border amounts to window dressing of the immigration problem. Muslim immigration needs to be stopped, completely and most already here need to be deported. That won’t happen under either party. No one wants to be accused of “racism”.
Huckabee is a Christian Zionist and he speaks for others of the same persuasion, of which there are quite a few. So there was and still is a spiritual connection between the US and Israel.
As to political policies, it makes increasing sense for Israel to become independent, as Netanyahu is planning.
Christian Zionists constitute a tiny and dwindling minority in America. Times are changing rapidly and I stand by my comment that Americans are anti-Israel.
