Peloni: Jonathan Tobin’s critique of Trump’s Executive Order on the Muslim Brotherhood ban is perhaps the best analysis I have seen so far.

What is most likely to happen is that Qatar will be visited again by the IAF.
If Hamas persists in its noncooperation on the cease fire agreement that was admittedly forced down its throat, they too will be visited by the IAF/IDF. They were happy to gain a Hudna while succeeding in not formally agreeing to the cease fire.
@dreuveni
I agree. This situation can not be permitted to remain fixed as it is.
An interesting quote from Mr. Tobin’s critique:
“The United States shall regard any armed attack on the territory, sovereignty or critical infrastructure of the State of Qatar as a threat to the peace and security of the United States.”
There’s only one way of testing this: If Qatar continues to support and fund Hamas to the point where further terrorist attacks occur, and if Israel quite rightly responds, as it must…
It occurred to me that given the fact that Trump is very resistant to fighting wars (ie: putting “boots on the ground”) he is being his usual tentative self; quite unlike his ability and hs very aggressive will to fight on economic grounds.
But no matter what, there is no way out of this predicament.
If he doesn’t do what we all know has to be done (even if it’s only verbally and he encourages Israel (who else?) to do the job), he will be perceived as being a very weak president, and this will truly jeopardize the entire world.
