Charlie Kirk Show Breaks Silence To Address Candace Owens’ Conspiracy Theories

Peloni:  I am glad to hear that TPUSA is finally going to begin to address the brutal and scathing commentary being used to manipulate Kirk’s memory by the likes of Owens.

“The Charlie Kirk Show” producer Blake Neff lambasted podcaster Candace Owens Wednesday for claiming that Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk was “betrayed” by high-ranking members of the conservative student group, saying TPUSA would deliver a detailed response to her claims via a livestream.Authorities arrested Tyler Robinson, 22, early in the morning of Sept. 12, accusing him of fatally shooting Kirk during a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University. Owens posted on X Tuesday that she would “be naming names and providing evidence” to support her allegations, which have involved French paratroopers, the Egyptian military and TPUSA leadership.

“For the past two and a half months, there is a topic that has flooded our freedom inbox, has been non-stop on social media, but which we have almost totally avoided on this show,” Neff, a former reporter for the Daily Caller News Foundation, said. “You probably already know what I’m talking about, which shows just how ubiquitous it has been. Ever since Charlie’s murder, Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA, people at Turning Point Action and people who work for this show. She’s made them against some of Charlie’s closest friends and against some of his most dedicated employees.”

After listing a number of Owens’ allegations, including those of financial impropriety, Neff responded.

WATCH:

“Candace has effectively tarred everyone here, with complicity in Charlie’s death by repeatedly saying he was, ‘betrayed by everyone.’ She has said Charlie’s murder ‘had to be approved by Charlie’s friends’ and then suggested those friends might have her murdered too, for ‘knowing the truth,’” Neff said. “She’s made claims of financial impropriety and fraud at Turning Point adding up into the millions of dollars, which, again, is not true. Charlie made sure the organization was audited by a third party every year. He personally reviewed and signed off on every expense report and literally every single bill paid by the organization down to a single United States dollar.”

After listing more of the allegations, Neff said Owens’ allegations led to harassment worse than that from people who celebrated Kirk’s assassination.

“What our friends have had to endure is not funny, and it’s not insignificant. It is evil. I have seen it. For months, we have received hundreds, thousands, I suspect, of emails and calls asking us to respond. People have wanted us to invite Candace on the show, but for a long time, our approach was to say nothing. We did that for several reasons,” Neff said. “First, we thought that her prevarications were so absurd that nobody would believe them. We shouldn’t have to answer questions about secret tunnels or Egyptian Air Force planes. That sort of thing is just, it’s beneath contempt to respond to.”

“The second reason we’ve said so little, though, is because there’s a good rule of thumb, which Charlie followed. Do not feed the trolls. Focus on the mission: reviving America, uplifting young people, making heaven crowded, don’t give air to people who want to tear you down and sow discord,” Neff said. “Lastly, we didn’t respond because Charlie always viewed Candace as a friend, and we were holding out hope that she would return that friendship and stop what she’s doing, but a week from now, it’s going to be three months since Charlie’s murder. Candace has not changed her behavior.”

Neff said TPUSA would have a livestream to address the allegations and invited Owens to participate. Owens responded to the TPUSA statement during Wednesday’s episode of her podcast.

“I’m not a troll,” Owens said. “OK? I’m not a troll. I’m not trolling, I’m not someone who’s hated Turning Point and wanted Turning Point to fail. I’m actually the exact opposite of that, and that’s why people believe in me and trust me, because they feel I’m the only one that’s acting right in the situation.”

“Who wouldn’t want to have every stone unturned if they cared about somebody?” Owens asked. “Who wouldn’t want to have every question answered?”

TPUSA did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the DCNF, nor has it announced the date and time of the livestream.

    Spotlight on Utah’s Death Penalty

    By Death Penalty Information Center

    Recent Legislative Activity Costs Utah

The capital charges filed against Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing conservative political activist Charlie Kirk on September 10th, have drawn new attention to Utah’s death penalty. Although Utah was among the first states to reinstate the death penalty after it was invalidated by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1972, and the first to perform an execution in the modern era, executions have been rare over the last 50 years. Just eight people have been executed in Utah since 1977. In 2024, the state executed Taberon Honie, ending a 14-year hiatus in executions. Utah juries have sentenced 26 people to death in the modern era but have not done so since 2008.

Mr. Kirk’s high-profile murder resulted in Utah officials declaring they would seek the death penalty even before Mr. Robinson was arrested; capital charges were filed on September 16. The decision to capitally prosecute Mr. Robinson has significant implications – in terms of the required time, money, and resources. Reuters noted the high cost of death penalty cases in Utah. ?“Utah’s 2017 study of the death penalty also found pursuing the death penalty adds an average $1.5 million in costs for the state, over the usual cost of cases seeking a life sentence,” in line with data from other states. Death penalty cases are also longer and more resource intensive, requiring months of preparation and investigation before proceeding to trial.

In 2022, two Republican legislators proposed legislation to end Utah’s death penalty. The legislation garnered support from victims’ families, business leaders, and a bipartisan coalition of Utah prosecutors. One of those prosecutors, Utah County Attorney David O. Leavitt, had pledged not to seek death sentenced during his tenure, saying, ?“What I have witnessed and experienced since deciding to seek the death penalty is that regardless of the crime, seeking the death penalty does NOT promote our safety.” The Wall Street Journal wrote at the time that Mr. Leavitt’s decision was part of ?“a growing movement of conservatives across the country pushing for an end to capital punishment.” The bill to repeal and replace Utah’s death penalty ultimately failed in committee on a 6?–?5 vote.

As reported by Reuters and USA Today, prosecutors’ decision to seek a death sentence is only the first step in Mr. Robinson’s case. The trial will likely not take place for several years, and a death sentence can only be imposed if all 12 jurors unanimously agree it is the appropriate punishment. Even if a death sentence is imposed, there are both mandatory and discretionary appeals, which can take 20 years or more. As DPI’s Executive Director, Robin Maher, told USA Today, ?“a lot is still unknown.”

  2. It is interesting that Candace Owens and her supporters provide a “more difficult group to respond to than those of Antifa.”

“Owens has continued to spread falsehoods to enrich herself at the expense of Charlie’s loved ones and TPUSA.”

At this point I think Candace Owens is a psychopath who has zero capacity to understand and empathize with her victims. She shows complete callousness towards others who have supported her such as Dennis Prager and Charlie Kirk as well as Kirk’s non-profit TPUSA.

At this point it is unclear what Candace Owens stands for. She has many issues that she champions, but none of them have any “there” there. She has put herself on the line stating that Mrs. Macron is a transgender person. Just like she has put herself on the line insisting that Charlie’s organization was part of the killing of Charlie Kirk.

I think we will find out that absolutely none of Candace Owens’ theories prove accurate, because there is no documentation that stands the test of objectivity or reality. That doesn’t seem to bother her, because that is how psychopaths operate. They don’t really care what is supported by evidence and what is not supported. They will come up with some reason that they don’t have to supply evidence.

Basically this is the same as any other psychopathic individual: they have nothing inside of them. She is empty on the inside. She will use/abuse whomever thinks she is genuine, and they will ultimately be disappointed. Then she will go into victim mode and say that X abused her or didn’t understand her, etc.

The above is based upon Peggy Tierney’s evaluation of the history of Candace Owens since high school. It is clear that as soon as she felt rejected, she began to present herself as a victim and at the same time, tried to sue the student who rejected her. It is a pattern she repeats over and over again in her life. She was successful in her lawsuit, which probably empowered her to continue to push lies whenever she has been rejected by someone.
