This is a terrific address. VIDEO
After this talk Elder of Tsion interviewed Dershowits on the way out, You all know that Dershowitz always says the settlements were a bad idea etc. This time he said he wasn’t referring to the communities around Jerusalem and Maalot Adumen etc, He said he was referring to the “deep” settlements only. Why did he not say that first off. First time I heard him say so.
Thank you. I’m sure my appreciation is shared by more than a few.
to Dweller attention, here is an English version from internet:
Thursday, October 06, 2011 PLO ambassador in Brazil: “Israel must disappear”
From Reinaldo Azevedo in Veja-Brazil, Brazil’s most popular magazine:
Imagine the scandal if an Israeli diplomat said: “The Palestinian Authority should disappear.” On Friday, Alzeben Ibrahim, the Palestinian ambassador in Brazil, told a group of university students that “Israel should disappear.”
To leave no doubt as to what he meant, he added, “And this is not the ambassador of Iran or President Ahmadinejad who is speaking.”
Thus it was evident that he did not mean Israel must disappear from the West Bank, but wiped off the map as Ahmadinejad preached.
Knowing that Hamas, which also says that Israel must disappear, will not stop shooting rockets into Israel, Alzeben said: “Israel is preparing provocations for a new conflict. Be skeptical of the origin of the next rocket departing from Palestine. ” So he is saying he has counterintelligence information where Israel is infiltrating agents into Gaza to fire missiles at Israel itself, understand?
By saying that “Israel must disappear,” Alzeben illuminates the nature of the “struggle” which many experts, including ours, refuse to admit.
When the Palestinian Authority refuses to recognize Israel as a “Jewish state” and wants to make the return of the so-called “refugees” this is a cause for future generations to be guided. When it cannot eliminate “that Israel” using weapons, it is dreaming to one day eliminate it via demographics.

I’m NOT “surprised.”
Rather, disappointed.
How nice for them that the reporter addressed them in a language in which they were conversant; had he reported to them in English (or for that matter, Tagalog), I might question his judgment as I did yours, above.
This website’s audience is, in the main, unlikely to be fluent in French (even, I daresay, secondarily).
Knowing that, the question becomes:
does a poster post for the sake of his readers
— or for the sake of himself?
Look, Steven, if your post consisted almost entirely of an excerpt in French, then I assume that you DO understand it.
So why can you not provide a translation of the passage alongside the original?
— Would that not facilitate putting your point across?
Fyi,
This was a Brazilian event reported by a French-Portuguese reporter to a French speaking audience in the EU.
Ur surprise surprises me.
Come on, Steven, how much of this readership do you honestly believe is functionally fluent en français?
If they aren’t, do you expect them to go hunting for a translation?
If you do so expect, why should they HAVE to?
Ever since he defended OJ – Dershowitz has always been a slimy opportunist in my book.
Laura, I’ll second that. It’s the plain and simple truth.
I am going to send this to a few I know who bought into the big lie. Just maybe this will remove the blinders.
While Abbas applies for membership at the UN, his ambassador in Brazil makes a war declaration against Israel when talking to Students at Brazilian Universities.
He stated that: “Israel must disappear”.
Great speech!
While Abbas is applying to the UN, his ambassador in Brasil stated unequivocally that:” Israel must disappear”‘ See below.
Even the whole West refuses to admit as well.

Maybe its because he is FINALLY starting to take the plight of Israel more seriously.
