Europe’s betrayal

If you must, at least turn to the 6 European countries which abstained at the UN vote – not that they have anything to be proud about with their Holocaust record.

By Phyllis Chesler, INN

I am reliving the Evian Conference, held in 1938. No European country was willing to take the Jews.

Eighty years later, on December 21, 2017, twenty six European countries voted to condemn the United States’ decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Six abstained. No European country dared to stand with the United States, with Israel, or with reality.

Austria and Germany—Hitler’s home base—voted to condemn the United States’ decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Germany—whose shame about the Nazi genocide of six million assimilated, productive, and non-violent Jews led Merkel’s Germany tp embrace millions of non-assimilated, non-productive, and very violent Muslim refugees—and why?

Partly to redeem their own soiled reputation and, more diabolically, to continue their traditional Jew-hatred by allowing Muslim refugees to harass, beat, torture, and murder Jews—and by consistently voting for Palestinian terrorists over a peaceful and democratic Israel.

Germany—on whose soil Israeli athletes were murdered in cold blood at the Olympics and whose police could not stop the Palestinian killing spree or apprehend the perpetrators.

Austria and Germany were not the only European countries who voted to condemn the vote on moving the American Embassy to Israel’s capital city, Jerusalem.

France—a hotbed of radical Islamism did too. France—which has again hosted the kind of mobs that cry “Death to the Jews” in Paris in the 21st century. France—in which Jews have literally been tortured to death (Ilan Halimi, z”l, Sarah Halimi z”l); synagogues bombed; Blood libels launched (the Mohammad Al-Dura fakery); medical care given to mass murdering terrorist, Yasir Arafat and asylum given to his family.

La Belle France—quelle dommage. La Belle France—living proof that prophecy still exists in the modern age. Jean Raspail envisioned it all in his dystopian novel, “In The Camp of the Saints.”

Greece, (who yielded up the Jews of Salonica to the Nazis); Iceland (what did the Jews ever do to Icelanders?); once neutral Ireland and Italy (which yielded up all the Jews of Venice, Turin, Rome, to Hitler), both condemned the U.S. decision.

Belgium, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Montenegro (were fully occupied by the Mussolini’s Nazis); The Netherlands, (the country that yielded up the greatest percentage of its Jews to Hitler and that, myth aside, boasted no real resistance movement); Norway (the country that gave Hitler as many of its Jews as it could); Portugal (oh, how can we forget the Spanish-style Inquisition and exile of Portuguese Jews—I cannot do so); Serbia, (fully on board and aligned with Herr Hitler); Spain, (who can forget Spain’s anti-Jewish Inquisition and its secret support for Hitler.

Sweden and Denmark once rescued their Jews—but that was then, now it is in a politically correct strait-jacket; Switzerland (which held onto to Jewish bank accounts and art work but not to living Jews); and the United Kingdom about which much can be said; my personal favorite is how His Majesty’s Navy circled and shot at pitiful Nazi-era Jewish refugees on board leaky boats, whom they did not allow to land in Haifa.

The anti-Semitic Poles (!) Croatians, (!) Hungarians, (!), Latvians (!) Romanians (!) and Czechs (!) all abstained. Their records during the Shoah were awful.

Europe was home to so many Jews—but it was also a death camp for us.

Yidden and our friends: If you want to put your tourist dollar down, I suggest you do so in these six European countries.

  1. @ Felix Quigley:
Well, being called an “arrogant, impetuous child” is certainly nicer than being called, “dangerous,” as you did before. Progress. I’ll take it.

Are you trying to imitate Marx, Lenin and Trotsky with this caustic, ad hominem attack writing style? e.g. blistering denunciations of “Mr. so and so and co.”

    That’s how it comes across.

  2. In response to Chesler on Israel National News I submitted…

“In fact Phyllis Chesler has in her past joined forces with the Ottomon Serb haters of Yugoslavia, especially of Bosnia and Kosovo, in the NATO led war against the Serbs and against Yugoslavia…that is Chesler joined forces with the very Holocaust itself. Chesler could not recognize the NATO led genocide against the Serbs and Chesler was historically an ignoramus, not able to recognize that Izetbegovic went right back to Hitler. Historically speaking she was so stupidly ignorant that she had to be corrected by Andrew Bostom.”

  3. When Sebastien writes…”I don’t know abou Yugoslavia. At the time, that’s the only version we were getting from the media and I believed it too” it is clear what is the problem with so much on this and other blogs.

I suggest that if you do not know about something Sebastien then you say nothing. Investigate, listen and learn.

There is a time for speaking, that is when you have some knowledge, and a time to keep the trap shut.

  4. I actually find Chesler a very interesting case indeed and from my point of view we cannot have too much discussion about the role of this “brilliant” woman. Chesler may in fact teach us much about many things in the present. But first Sebastien one needs to be prepared to learn in a certain way which is to be less acting like a child, that is impetuous, and to treat knowledge as something that is precious. That will also have the advantage of stopping you from being arrogant which appears to be a trait of yours.

  5. Sebastien

You ask me what the link to this CIA body has to do with Chesler. The CIA created much of the climate and those like Chesler fell right in, I think not setting out to or anything like that, but because the climate is created.

I thought the link was obvious without lengthy explanations. But it would help you too if when I give a link like this that you are less impetuous and show just a little patience.

This is above all a conversation towards knowledge. The problem is that you have little knowledge and are forced to google and grasp at the first thing you see.

Ask Ted. He has great knowledge on this. We have been through this on Israpundit a long time before you appeared (but it is good you are here now)

  6. @ Sebastien Zorn:

The Holocaust was caused by the Jews rejection of the Land of Israel in favor of the exile…. The exile was meant to be collective punishment for their sins against G-d and not meant to be pleasant or permanent….at a certain point in history the Jews collectively gave up on the Land Of Israel despite all the prophetic warnings Jews died by the millions for rejecting the Land and by definition G-d.

Jewish tradition informs us that the lives of our ancestors serve as guideposts for our own conduct. In our unending love for, and attachment to, the Exile, we are like our tribal ancestors who descended to the Land of Egypt and found such a good life waiting for them that they decided to permanently settle there.

Even against their will did God take our ancestors out of Egypt. As the Torah relates: “They [the Israelites] said to Moses, ‘Were there no graves in Egypt that you took us to die in the Wilderness? What is this that you have done to us to take us out of Egypt? Is this not the statement that we made to you in Egypt, saying, “Let us be, and we will serve Egypt”? For, it is better that we serve Egypt than that we should die in the Wilderness!’” (Ex. 14:11-12); and: “The Children of Israel said to them [Moses and Aaron], ‘If only we had died by the Hand of HaShem in the Land of Egypt, as we sat by the pot of meat, when we ate bread to satiety, for you have taken us out to this Wilderness to kill this entire congregation by famine.’” (Ex. 16:3); and: “The rabble that was among them cultivated a craving, and the Children of Israel also wept once more, and said, ‘Who will feed us meat? We remember the fish that we ate in Egypt free of charge, and the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic. But now, our life is parched, there is nothing; we have nothing to anticipate but the manna!’” (Num. 11:4-6).

Finally, the Jewish people came to the border of the Land of Israel, then occupied by the Canaanite nations. Moses sent 12 tribal leaders from among the Jewish people to reconnoiter the Land in preparation for their invasion and conquest thereof. Ten of the spies urgently recommended to Moses against the invasion. As the Torah relates: “They reported to him and said, ‘We arrived at the Land to which you sent us, and indeed it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. However, the people which dwells in the Land is powerful; the cities are very greatly fortified; and also the offspring of the giant we saw there. Amalek dwells in the area of the South; the Hittite, the Jebusite and the Amorite dwell on the mountain; and the Canaanite dwells by the Sea and on the bank of the Jordan [River].’ Caleb silenced the people towards Moses and said, ‘We shall surely ascend and conquer it, for we can surely do it.’ But the men who had ascended with him said, ‘We cannot ascend to that people; for, it is too strong for us.’ They brought forth to the Children of Israel an evil report on the Land which they had spied out, saying, ‘The Land through which we have passed, to spy it out, is a Land that devours its inhabitants. All the people that we saw in it were huge. There we saw the Nephilim, the sons of the giant from the among the Nephilim; we were like grasshoppers in our eyes, and so we were in their eyes.’ The entire assembly raised up and issued its voice; the people wept that night. All the Children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, and the entire assembly said to them, ‘If only we had died in the Land of Egypt, or if only we had died in this Wilderness! Why is HaShem bringing us to this Land [of Israel] to die by the sword? — Our wives and young children will be taken captive! — Is it not better for us to return to Egypt?’ So they said to one another, ‘Let us appoint a leader and let us return to Egypt!’” (Num. 13:27 – 14:4). The basis for their impassioned recommendation against the invasion and conquest was the doctrine of Pikuach Nefesh (avoidance of danger to life). They argued that the Jewish people were entitled to be excused from performing the national Torah Mitzvah of forcibly possessing the Land of Israel because this Mitzvah was extremely dangerous; and they logically reasoned that Jewish lives would be more endangered by performing this Mitzvah than by desisting therefrom. Yet, God Himself rejected this assertion. Seeing that His Gift of the Land of Israel to the Jewish people was despised, God adjudged that generation, except for Caleb and Joshua, unworthy to leave the Exile, and He thereupon pronounced Sentence upon it, declaring: “‘And your young children of whom you said they will become a prey [for the Canaanite nations], I shall bring them; they shall know the Land [of Israel] which you have rejected. But your carcasses shall drop in this Wilderness. And your children will roam in the Wilderness for 40 years and bear [culpability for] your strayings, until the consumption of [the last of] your carcasses in the Wilderness. Like the number of the days that you spied out the Land, 40 days, a day for a year, a day for a year, shall you bear your iniquities — 40 years — and you shall comprehend straying from Me. I, HaShem, have spoken — [I am not HaShem] if I shall not do this unto this entire evil assembly that gathers against Me; in this Wilderness shall they be consumed, and there shall they die!’” (Num. 14:31-35).

Astonishingly, despite their past enslavement in the Land of Egypt and the horrific conditions they had endured there over a long period of time there, the Jewish people nonetheless preferred to live there rather than in the Land of Israel. For — against God’s Will — the Jewish people were eager to overlook every Egyptian atrocity that had been perpetrated against them in the hope that a comfortable Jewish future in the Land of Egypt might yet be secured. Unfortunately, in every way do the contemporary Jews of the Diaspora resemble the generation of the Exodus.

  7. Felix is not only a commie but a misogynist and probably a queer to boot….. I have long suspected he suffers from logorrhea ( a communication disorder that causes excessive wordiness and talkativeness, which can sometimes lead to incoherency. Logorrhea is sometimes classified as a mental illness and can result from a variety of psychiatric and neurological disorders including aphasia)

  8. @ Felix Quigley:
Chesler is the only Feminist who doesn’t sweep Muslim Mysogyny under the mat.

Don’t confuse her with Sontag. They are not the same person.

You and Chesler are on the same page on Yugoslavia.

    https://phyllis-chesler.com/articles/islamic-imperialism-in-the-former-yugoslavia

I don’t know abou Yugoslavia. At the time, that’s the only version we were getting from the media and I believed it too. Now, I’m not at all clear on whether it wasn’t atrocities on all sides, or exactly what and who to believe.

But, we are in a different period.

She is making an invaluable contribution to the fight against Islamization.

What does the link you cited have to do with anything we are talking about?

  9. Sebastien

One of the major issues of today is how sections of the feminist movement, once left wing, are now saying that all a woman has to do is claim a rape and with that all that stuff about proof, juries and “innocent until proven guilty” which is the foundation of all modern law and states based on that law is finished with in one swoop.

In other words we are moving according to these sections into Fascism.

In the 1990s this woman Chesler who we are arguing about anticipated all of this when she believed the Bosnian Muslim claims against the Serb soldiers. She bought into it and spread it.

There is indeed a close connection to all of what happened in Yugoslavia in the 1990s and what is happening today in American politics in the war against President Trump.

I find it just incredible, and laughable, that you refer to these points and this line of reasoning as “It’s just a rambling mish-mash. Impossible to know where to even start.”

Perhaps you should start by taking seriously what I am saying about what happened in Yugoslavia, take seriously the positions of Sontag as outlined well by Jared Israel, and what I am saying about Chesler, and include also the actions of the CIA down through the decades, so consult https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congress_for_Cultural_Freedom

  10. @ Felix Quigley:
You confuse all kinds of things that have nothing to do with each other much less the topics under discussion. It’s just a rambling mish-mash. Impossible to know where to even start. “Elements of Style” by Strunk and White was the traditional remedy for that in introductory college writing classes from the 1920s through at least the 1990s. Don’t know about now, what with the state of the university.

  11. While my Irish Jewish friend makes a good stab as to why he distrusts Chesler Jared Israel gets right down into the dirt that makes these feminists like Sontag, and Chesler, really tick. I myself think that in the last analysis it is money. They self promote. They follow the bank balance. None starve.

    quote…
“Writing along these lines in the Dec. 25, 1995 issue of the once-principled ‘Nation’ magazine, Sontag compared herself (flying into Sarajevo as a super-VIP) to the intellectuals who went to fight fascism in the 1930s (dying in the dirt in Spain.)

    Right.

She argued that their (and her) actions stood in sharp contrast to:

“the morosely depoliticized intellectuals of today, with their cynicism always at the ready, their addiction to entertainment, their reluctance to inconvenience themselves for any cause, their devotion to personal safety (I can’t count how many times I’ve been asked, each time I return to New York from Sarajevo, how I can go to a place that’s so dangerous.)”
Note that while Sontag appears to be criticizing “morosely depoliticized intellectuals” she is really doing two very different things.

    First, she is praising herself.

Second, she is using a tricky writing technique to make readers more receptive to her theme: that ‘the Serbs’ are monsters.

Nowhere in the article does Sontag offer actual evidence of Serbian monstrousness.

Rather, she employs a technique I call ‘The Consequent Argument’. The way it works is, the writer doesn’t honestly state what she is trying to prove and then provide evidence. Instead she writes in a way that takes for granted that what she wants to prove is already proven, that it is obviously true, and then makes comments that would follow if in fact it were true. This tends to sweep the reader into accepting the unproven point.

Thus, Sontag says, “I can’t count how many times I’ve been asked…how I can go to a place that’s so dangerous.”

Frankly, I find it unbelievable that “uncountable” (i.e., very large) numbers of people actually went up to Susan Sontag and breathlessly praised her bravery for going to Sarajevo.

I doubt that one person did it unless said person was a shill.

shill (shîl) Slang. noun – One who poses as a satisfied customer or an enthusiastic gambler to dupe bystanders into participating in a swindle.
“Imaginative hands?” This isn’t imagination. Let’s dispense with Mr. Rosenblatt’s “imaginative hands.”

This is hogwash. The hog is washed to some purpose.

By first castigating other intellectuals as physical cowards (as if they had all been offered and declined invitations to go on expenses-paid, media-hyped trips to Sarajevo) and then making the preposterous claim that “uncountable” numbers of people expressed amazement at her bravery, Sontag tries to create in readers minds the impression that Sarajevo was the victim of unimaginable horror (perpetrated, of course, by ‘the Serbs’.) That impression is intended to put readers in the proper frame of mind to uncritically accept some truly bizarre charges.”
    http://www.emperors-clothes.com/articles/jared/susan.htm

These psychological tricks of so called journalism were honed in Yugoslavia in the 1990s. The ITN team went out to Bosnia for one purpose and one purpose only, to “find” Serb Concentration camps. At the end of their voyage, and being given all facilities by the naive Bosnian Serbs, and not finding any evidence of Serb Concentration Camps, the next step was obvious THEY INVENTED SERB CONCENTRATION CAMPS.

At this point simply best to watch the three ten minute videos narrated by Jared Israel on youtube this very moment…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xox7TR11evI

Phyllis Chesler is in the same camp as Sontag who is in this ITN camp as well.

They have debased journalism totally. In Bosnia they did not need or ask for any evidence. As in these videos they invented it. Or else they just asked the Muslims and the Muslims gave them the “truth”.

In America today the Feminists like Chesler have carried this to a conclusion…if a woman says she was raped then no need at all for any trial, or evidence, or proof, or anything. Just the word of a woman will do. This began in Yugoslavia and Chesler is in this to the hilt. But her bank balance has not suffered mind you.

Maggie OKane from Dublin and Belfast specialized in this psychological suggestion technique of reporting. She interviewed Muslims from Bosnia and took their word as truth because they looked “suffering” and to hell with real investigation such as finding out what ideas were motivating the Jihadist Izetbegovic. Maggie also has not suffered financially she is now head of Guardian films and speaks at conferences.

  12. So Russia under Stalin was spying in and on America. Well big bloody deal Sebastien Zorn. You obviously know nothing about the history of Russia from 1917 until the murder of Trotsky in Mexico by the Stalinist thug Mercader. I mean you know Zero and yet you try pontificating on blogs about history.

From the word go Britain and France were leading in the campaign to intervene directly in Russia and America was part of that, all sending troops in to finish off the young workers revolution.

The Allied intervention was a multi-national military expedition launched during the Russian Civil War in 1918. The stated goals were to help the Czechoslovak Legion, to secure supplies of munitions and armaments in Russian ports, and to re-establish the Eastern Front.

Numbers of Allied soldiers who were present in the indicated regions of Russia:
600 French and British troops landed in Arkhangelsk[20]
A number of British troops in Vladivostok.
A number of Romanian troops in Bessarabia.
23,351 Greeks, who withdrew after three months (part of I Army Corps under Maj. Gen. Konstantinos Nider, comprising 2nd and 13th Infantry Divisions, in the Crimea, and around Odessa and Kherson)[21]
13,000 Americans (in the Arkhangelsk and Vladivostok regions)[14][15]
    11,500 Estonians in northwestern Russia[12]
2,500 Italians (in the Arkhangelsk region and Siberia)[22]
2,300 Chinese (in the Vladivostok region)[23]
150 Australians (mostly in the Arkhangelsk regions)[24]
15,000 Japanese soldiers in the Eastern region
4,192 Canadians in Vladivostok, 600 Canadians in Arkhangelsk[25]

According to the above from Wikipedia which is well documented I make that eleven major advanced countries sending their armies to end the young workers revolution. Oh well you would be surprised if they did not and if Britain was not in the lead.

So what was the nature of Stalinism? Was it revolutionary or counter revolutionary, the latter concept meaning being on the side of the continuation of capitalism. IT WAS THE LATTER as the whole of the history of the Spanish Civil War shows. Stalin was so opposed to the concept of the socialist revolution in the Spanish Revolution that Russia took over the country, took over the left, and assassinated socialist, real socialist, leaders.

So the conclusion is that whatever the Russian Government was doing at any stage it was not to aid the socialist revolution in America. Like the Stalinists helped Franco they were also helping the American Imperialists of whatever hue.

(Of course I made a simple mistake. The context shows that as everybody saw. I was clearly talking only about Assad in Syria and “Sadat” slipped out)

“…In 1962, when I returned to Bard College, I tried to tell my classmates how important it was that America had so many free libraries, so many movie theatres, bookstores, universities, unveiled women, freedom of movement on the streets, freedom to leave our families of origin if we so chose, freedom from arranged marriages—and from polygamy, too. This meant that as imperfect as America may be, it was still the land of opportunity and of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

My friends, future journalists, artists, physicians, lawyers, and intellectuals, wanted only to hear fancy Hollywood fairy tales, not reality. They wanted to know how many servants I had and whether I ever met the king. I had no way of communicating the horror, and the truth. My American friends could not or did not want to understand. As with my young college friends so long ago, today’s leftists and progressives want to remain ignorant.

    From New York to Kabul
My Afghan awakening began in New York in 1961 when I married my college sweetheart, Ali. I was an Orthodox Jewish-American girl; he was a Muslim boy from Afghanistan who had been away from home for fourteen years while studying at private schools in Europe and America.

My plan was to meet Ali’s family in Kabul, stay there a month or two, study “History of Ideas” at the Sorbonne for a semester, then return to Bard College to complete my final semester.

When we landed in Kabul at least thirty members of his family were there to greet us. The airport officials smoothly confiscated my American passport. “It’s just a formality, nothing to worry about,” Ali assured me. “You’ll get it back later.” I never saw that passport again.

Upon our arrival in Kabul, my Western husband simply became another person. For two years, in the United States, Ali and I had been inseparable. He had walked me to my classes. We did our homework together in the library. We talked constantly. In Afghanistan, everything changed. We were no longer a couple during the day. He no longer held my hand or kissed me in public. He barely spoke to me. He only sought me out at night. He treated me the way his father and elder brother treated their wives: with annoyed embarrassment, coldness, distance.

‘…Ali had not told me that his father was polygamous until just before we had arrived in Kabul. Then he told me that, “actually,” his father had two wives. He’d been “tricked” into marrying the second wife, with whom he had only two children, Ali explained, “which says everything. She’s more like a family servant.” Ali’s mother treated the second wife Fauzia so badly that Agha Jan finally moved her into her own house. I would visit and have tea with Fauzia. She was grateful for the gesture of respect and for the company.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Agha Jan actually had three wives….

    The unbelievable pumpkin hidout…..

Regarding Hiss, I vividly remembering being shown, with my class, a film in the local public library about the pumpkin and the unreadable films — of minor importance, he was working in something like the agriculture dept. — to highlight how silly it all was.

But, the lasting damage he did was not from his early training days as a minor spy, with Chambers as his controller, but the damage he did at Potsdam where he, as Stalin’s secret man, sat behind FDR and gave him advice during the negotiations over the disposition of post-war Europe. He helped Stalin bluff FDR into giving away the store.

And I was also impressed by the memoirs I read that Chambers cited of a former fellow Soviet spy handler, Elizabeth somebody and a former Soviet General, who defected in the 20’s and wrote a tell-all book and went around exposing the Soviet hell for what it was. He was assassinated.

Two other good ones I recall. One some title like “My mind in Chains,” the memoir of a Communist minister who was imprisoned during the Slansky trials in Czechoslavakia — which was punishment for supporting Israel. And, one, I found in a bibliography of one of David Horowitz’s books, a memoir of a former Viet Cong Minister, non-Communist, who became a boat person and was living in France.

  15. @ Sebastien Zorn:

If I can’t respect herI can’t. But it’s not a matter of respect, I’ve already said she picks good subjects and is brilliant. I just don’t like her for the reasons I’ve given.

As for her being “tricked” I’ve also covered that in that she was Jewish, knowing well the hatred of the Moslems, and their Takhiya, and that before doing such a thing she could easily have taken ten minutes to look it up in a library. She likely spent a lot of time in libraries anyway.

  16. @ Sebastien Zorn:

I’m glad you read WITNESS, yes it was a fascinating book, the things that these people were prepared to do and did. I have that book already probably for nearly 60 years. I read it a few times. It’s thick, heavy and with a black cover. Funny I was talking about it a week or three ago. The unbelievable pumpkin hidout…..

Well I don’t regard her in that way, not close. To me she’s a dirt stirrer attraction seeker and obnoxious. Mind you, I have a distaste for publicly aggressive but brilliant women. I always feel that they are trying to act like men, a completely different category of human.

    Anyway I don’t likw her.

  19. @ Felix Quigley:
I agree. Incidentally, Romania may follow Trump to Jerusalem. The head of the governing party has called for it. Not that I forgive them or any of the others for a second for the Shoah. And it was in Rumania that Arafat crafted his strategy together with the dictator with the unpronounceable name before the revolution. Good article. Jews living there would do well to leave. It could happen again at any time, or in any generation. Anti-semitism is probably hard-wired, like a recessive gene, or a cancer.

I am not a big fan of Chesler but for none of the cockamamie reasons you cite…. Sadat was an enemy of Israel till his last breath and he sided with the Americans because he had no choice….. Egypt was and is bankrupt and their overpopulation can’t be supported even fed without outside aid. He made for him a deal with the devil and it cost him his life. The Saudis had cut him off and he had kicked the Russians out. Russia could supply cheap inferior weapons but nothing more and exacted a high price politically for their junk weaponry. America was his only logical choice and he made it. BTW Sadat was a very religious Muslim who supported terrorists against Israel to the last. I don’t cry for the SOB for a moment…. he deserved what he got but for our reasons not the MB’s!!! Sadat never sought to defeat Jihadists he supported them you fool. Assad is a butcher far worse than your bogeyman Jihadists and a thousand times more of a threat to Israel than your Jihadist pets. El-Sisi will be gone in a year or two because the Egyptian economy will bring him down.

I do not know what will happen with Sadat and Iran

Well for one you idiot Sadat is long dead and if no alternative we will incinerate Iran. 😛

but I do know that Netanyahu and all of these gutless Jews like Netanyahu would not know a principled position, ever, instead today Netanyahu still boasts about helping to patch up these Fascists at the border, who .being patched up in Israeli hospitals went on to join with ISIS

Haaaaa I can remember when you were a BB stalwart 😛 You are anything but consistent. Helping Syrian wounded civilian and fighters besides being good for Israel’s image provides a lot of valuable contacts and intelligence to Israeli Defense establishment so pls shut up and not show all how stupid you really are.

  22. @ david melech:

Oh come on David Melech have you no feeling at all in your old wizened body or are you just a complete idiot? Probably both.

Do you not understand that he is opening up on the most important piece of history in the universe. The Irish is not just ANY struggle, it was and still is very connected to the Jewish but a complete b like you probably does not know the connection of Herzog to Dev! I am very angry with you David and I am restraining my language.

To put it bluntly Chesler is a product of the feminists who became an arm of the NATO, British, EU and US side in the war on the Serbs. She swallowed hook line and sinker the lies against the Serbs, the concentration camps, she fastened onto the “rapes” like a fly to dung, and she is basically a moron, as many of these academic book producers are.

And she has not changed look at the way she throws a slug against Sadat, only a stupid woman who lies about Sadat, and does not even have the common sense to know Sadat fired no gas cylinders anywhere. Above all this bitch cannot ever land on the right side. Here she never mentions that Sadat was at the end of the road if he had not succeeded in defeating the Jihad. And more. Along with the Christians who fully and loyally supported Assad, as did the animists. I despise her deeply.

And there is only the one Jihad. And Sadat was leading no Jihad. The opposite was and is the case just like El Sisi.

I do not know what will happen with Sadat and Iran but I do know that Netanyahu and all of these gutless Jews like Netanyahu would not know a principled position, ever, instead today Netanyahu still boasts about helping to patch up these Fascists at the border, who .being patched up in Israeli hospitals went on to join with ISIS

  23. @ Felix Quigley:

I am Irish myself born and grew up in Dublin, so that makes two of us on this site. as for being a dialectical materialist, I understand, but see no comparison between a Russian Jew who was deserted his religious upbringing, a revolutionary at heart, and a brilliant young American Jewish girl marrying a Muslim and shlepping back to Afghanistan. She MUST have known they were polygamists, and that they all lived together; whole families including husbands wives children under a patriarchal father. And that Muslim women were treated like dirt.

She could have opened a book in a public library and found all the information there.

Besides, I was young myself, and quite daring in my own way, which was nothing by comparison with Chesler. And I have excellent recall, and remember almost every thing I’ve done and read, and said to and by me.

    I still don’t like her

Eireann Go Bragh, and Gorra milla maith agat and all that. Such Anti-Semitic crap over there. My sister and many relatives are still there, keeping a low profile like we all had to do before the War…when the dirty little dogs would spit at us, throw stones and yell…”Ya dirty Jewman go back to Jerusalem”.. Well, I went to the Stadium instead when I was a bit older, and made my mark on some of the actual tormentors; 62 to be exact, over about a 5 year period..

I remember when Oliver Flanagan stood up in the Dail and said that “we don’t want even a single Jew here we already have too many and want to get rid of them out of here” (slightly paraphrased)….this whilst the War was raging and the Holocaust horrors had become known. He was later made a Papal Knight, perhaps for that reason. Dev refused his very good friend Rabbi Isaac Herzog who begged him to allow Jews to escape to Ireland, but when he heard Hitler (spit) was dead he went to the German Embassy personally to tender his sympathy.

Sotty I got started on that. The Dublin Jewish girl Ettie, who died in a concentration camp was a family friend, her brother was my older sister’s boyfriend. She married a Belgian and went back there to live. I was at the wedding in Dublin. I was a kid but remember well. .Dev didn’t lift a finger to help her, even though repeatedly asked.

Again, sorry I deviated from the subject, and I’m not complaining to you. It’s just that you’d know who I was talking about.

  24. Important emphasis read instead “I am a dialectical materialist AND I never for a moment reject my Irishness.” Or even “I am a dialectical materialist THEREFORE I never for a moment reject my Irishness.

My joining word “but” is wrong and it leads into a very false political position. My emphasis here on using “and” is that there is no contradiction to a young person seeing themselves as fully Jewish and being also atheist, scientific, historical materialist etcetera”. In fact to be fully Jewish, or in my case Irish, it is best to stop believing in myths, and to base nationality on truth.

  25. Edgar G

I have to take you up on this because you set a bad precedent. It is a fact that people can and do change. Also the point about being an “oddity” is that all youth have the potential for this and this points to leadership. Youth need to be taken seriously by the older generation so that such bad decisions and extremes can be avoided. Leon Trotsky, or Lyova (see My Life free on net as PDF), also rejected Judaism as a doctrine but unlike Chesler he never once for a moment stopped being a Jew and never called himself other than a Jew. I see her problem as a youth as one of ABSENCE of leadership. I liken this also to myself as Irish…I am a dialectical materialist but I never for a moment reject my Irishness.

There is another point here as I am sure that this Afghan would have hidden his real nature and essence from the young woman. But that raises the issue “Why did she not know”? and why was she so unprepared. Here I give the answer that there was no leadership, party, real organization working visibly in the political scene, that could have educated the young woman. And there still is not such an ORGANIZATION. Yes there are individuals but no organization.

Why there was not is a vital question.

  26. She writes well, and picks good subjects often, but I can’t take to her, ever since I heard that she was married to a devout Muslim Afghan and lived in the mountains over there somewhere. So she must be some sort of oddity, because no properly sane person would do that.. Especially a Jewish girl.
