Peloni: This is a must read article by Tanya Lukyanova which was published by the Free Press. The revelations in this report will likely surprise many who have come to rely extensively on Ukrainian news reports. The reality of the facts discussed by the author should of course have been obvious long ago. Recall the use of the Peacemaker website which lists targets to be purged, and that following their names having been listed on this site, many journalists were in fact eliminated, not the least notorious of these was the Ukrainian secret services having first detained and later murdered the American journalist, Gonzo Lira. Recall further that the Peacemaker website has been tied to the Ukrainian govt and it has remained active even after the US began overtly subsidizing Ukraine’s government, which was also coincident with the timing of Gonzo Lira’s detention and murder by Ukraine’s state police.
The purpose of the media in any democracy is to maintain transparency and accountability between the govt and the people who chose the govt. Of course, under the use of USAID, both Ukraine’s govt and media have been weaponized in pursuit of American misadventure. The consequence of this has led to the decimation of Ukrainian democratic process, such as it was, their freedoms, their elections, their religious choices, and their access to a free press. This should disgust us all, and it should disgust those who claim any love of the Ukrainian people more than anyone.

Obviously, someone high up in the Biden administration wasn’t satified with the level of coverage they will getting from the MSm, even though it was overwhelmingly favorable to the Biden administration. So orders were given to civil servants from several government agencies to buy the publication, which was on sale, on behalf of the government. This way the government had its very own online newspaper Politico.
Tanya is in no way to blame for believing this story or all the other reports in her podcast. It suggests to me she accepts everything as fact that she is asked to publish by her employer, whoever that is. Hence she is not a reliable source.
” Around the same time, online sleuths accused Politico, the D.C. news site, of being secretly bankrolled by USAID. But that wasn’t true either. In reality, a few hundred government employees had simply bought a niche service called Politico Pro and invoiced the purchase to their respective agencies, as Isaac Saul pointed out last week in The Free Press.”
Adam’s comment : this is from the same article by this Tanya lady that claims that the Ukrainian media is controlled by USAID. If you believe several hundred government employees came together totally on their own to buy an online newspaper. then they billed their respective agencies, several dozen of them, to reimburse them for what they had paid for it,and the agencies then reimbursed them for their expenses==then you will also believe in the tooth fairy. And since this claim is unbelievable, there is no reason to trust what she says about the USAID and the Ukrainian media, or the Ukrainian government’s alleged torture of men they are trying to draft, either.
Please note that I am not saying that all of Tanya’s accusation are false. For all I know, some or even all of them, might be true. All I am saying is not a reliable source for this informatin. I will believe them only if they are confirmed by a more trustworthy source.
