Important Insights Regarding Hamas, Gaza, & the Overall Arab-Israeli Conflict from an Amazigh Analyst…

by Gerald A. Honigman

As a doctoral student decades ago, in the ‘70’s, I became very interested in the struggle of scores of millions of non-Arab peoples whose plight and cause had been virtually ignored by most of the rest of the world.

While delving into the situation peoples like Egypt’s true indigenous inhabitants, the Copts, and the Levant’s Druse were facing, the primary focus of my research was on the long-oppressed Amazigh/Kabyle “Berbers” of North Africa and the Kurds of the Middle East, whose population was mainly spread across Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey.

Together, the Imazighen and Kurds alone number about 80 million truly stateless peoples who’ve had their own languages and cultures often outlawed by their tormentors in the forced Arabization and Turkification process.

The following analysis describes this historical situation, and be sure to not miss the eye-opening quotations from representatives of such peoples regarding this topic here  “Berber Autumn”…

Arabs, whose original homeland was primarily the increasingly desiccating Arabian Peninsula, burst out of it in the 7th century C.E., literally in search of greener pastures, and proceeded to wage genocidal, religiously driven colonizing, settling, dominating, and supremacist wars which resulted in the forced acquisition of hundreds of millions of native non-Arab peoples’s ancestral homelands.

It has been estimated that on just the Indian subcontinent alone, the slaughtered were astronomical in numbers.

Judaeans/Jews in Judaea, Zoroastrian Aryan Persians, black Africans, Copts, Kurds, “Berbers,” Assyrians, Armenians, Chaldeans, Circassians, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and others as well fell victim to the spread of Muhammad’s successors spread of the Dar ul-Islam.

The ongoing conflicts between India and Pakistan, the Arab-Israeli conflict with its so-called “Palestinian” Arab dimension included, the slaughter of Druze and Assyrians, continuing violence and intimidation of Copts, Kurds, Yazidis, and continuous war being waged against non-Muslim (and even Muslim) blacks in sub-Saharan Africa are a legacy of this never ending jihadi quest to conquer kafir “unbelievers” and steal their ancestral lands…

The turmoil now taking place outside of the Near and Middle East, as the struggle to spread the Dar ul-Islam into the realm of the kafir infidel Christians in Europe and elsewhere resumes since the days of Ottoman Turkish ambitions, also represents this fourteen century war to spread the realm of Islam.

As witnessed by the current drive in the United Nations, academia, media, and elsewhere due to the overwhelming wealth and influence of these other perpetually ignored non-Arab peoples’s subjugators, the demand of Arabism to be gifted an additional 22nd independent state for itself has become the only acceptable  “cause celebre.”

Having had a good number of analyses published in the Middle East Forum myself,(as above with “Berber Autumn), I read with great interest the wisdom of the following Amazigh (“Berber”) author, Amine Ayoub, illustrated below as it relates to today’s troubles with Hamas and, additionally, the overall Arab-Israeli conflict…

Finally, to place this demand for the creation of yet another independent state to reward Arabism with (likely another terror one, at that) must be placed within the proper historical context, as seen below:
