Gen. Yahyah Safavi, Senior Advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, is referring exclusively to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military capability when he declares that the regime must increase its “strategic depth.” Thousands of kilometres means that Iran would have the capacity to strike the EU and America with long-range missiles.
Iran is diligently working toward its goal of regional and global dominance, while Biden allows, and even enables, the doomsday regime. Iran ultimately believes “the Hidden Imam will appear in the midst of a violent apocalyptic scenario played out on a battleground stained with infidels’ blood.” Biden also released $150 billion to Iran.
A Washington Times report states:
The Biden administration has a strong incentive to hide or not reveal the existence of an Iranian bomb because of President Biden’s repeated pledges over the years not to allow the Iranians to have a nuclear bomb on his watch.
Iran is often referred to as a “nuclear threshold” state, but the Washington Times suggests that Iran may well have already acquired nuclear bombs.
Iran’s expansion of its activities would mean more assistance for its proxies, Hizballah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and a more powerful Palestinian “resistance.”
The escalation of intimidating pro-Hamas protests throughout the West is merely the beginning. The level of the threat that will arise in the West as the jihad in Gaza continues is not taken seriously enough by Western authorities.

In a March 6, 2024 speech at a conference marking the 40th anniversary of Imam Hossein University where the cadres of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) are trained, Gen. Yahyah Rahim Safavi, senior advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, discussed the future aims of the Iranian regime. He stressed the need to increase Iran’s strategic depth from today’s 2,000 kilometers – that is, reaching to the Mediterranean Sea – to a range of 5,000 kilometers.
The Aim: Expanding Iran’s Strategic Depth To 5,000 Kilometers
It should be noted that during the years of nuclear negotiations with the U.S., Iranian regime officials declared that they were voluntarily restricting the range of their missiles to 2,000 kilometers, allowing them to threaten only Israel and Saudi Arabia, its regional enemies (a claim that was accepted by the Obama administration) as well as American interests in the region….
…This declaration, which was by a senior official close to Khamenei, apparently signaled the beginning of the Iranian regime’s pivot away from its declared self-imposed restrictive policy regarding the range of its threat to the Middle East towards expansion vis-à-vis Europe and even the U.S……
