JORDANIAN MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD MILITANTS ATTACKED THE ISRAELI BORDER TONIGHT

  •  Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood militants attacked the Israeli border tonight, further escalating an already volatile security situation along the Jordan–Israel frontier. According to our sources, the attackers are operatives of the Muslim Brotherhood terror group, which remains legally registered and active in Jordan despite being designated a terrorist organization by executive order issued by President Trump.

  •  Live fire was used during the attack, with shots fired toward Israeli positions from the Jordanian side of the border as the attackers attempted to cross into Israeli territory while shooting. The IDF responded immediately with defensive fire, while Israeli helicopters and drones were deployed and remain airborne as we speak, conducting active surveillance to locate the perpetrators.
  •  Security alerts were triggered across southern Wadi Araba, after the Israeli Home Front Command activated sirens following suspected armed infiltration from the Jordanian border.
  •  Israeli special operations forces were rapidly deployed along the border, supported by combat helicopters and Israeli Air Force drones, to secure the area and prevent further attacks.
  •  The Muslim Brotherhood terror group maintains deep and longstanding ties with the General Director of Jordanian Intelligence, Ahmad Hosni Hatouqai. This attack could not have occurred without either a direct green light from senior officials or, at best, severe negligence and systemic incompetence.
  •  We have warned for months that Jordan’s borders have become a growing threat to Israel, driven by the regime’s continued partnership and coordination with the Muslim Brotherhood terror group, including organized communication networks and operational facilitation.
  •  Jordanian intelligence must be held fully responsible and accountable, particularly given the extensive U.S. financial aid, training, and support it receives. Allowing the Muslim Brotherhood terror group to operate legally under these conditions is indefensible.
  •  The Hashemite regime must be forced to ban the Muslim Brotherhood terror group and all affiliated entities. Tonight’s attack further demonstrates that the situation in Jordan is unstable and unsustainable, and that delaying action only increases the risk of wider escalation.
