Less than 20% of Jews support the Saudi Plan

Haaretz survey: 51% of Israelis back Olmert’s talks with Abbas

Aside from the obvious question “How was the question framed?”, we must point out that all Israelis were polled. Thus, to deduce the support among Jews for negotiations, we must remove the almost total support for same by the Arab Israelis. This means that only 40% of Jews support negotiations.

Of these we must ask how many would support the Saudi Plan if it were agreed upon and the number may well be cut in half.

This suggests that less than 20% of Jews support the Saudi Plan.
