Peloni: While being interviewed (15min beginning at 4hr 30min mark) by Hannity during special programming about the US attack on Iran, Mark Levin explains that Trump is an historic figure, and that more trust should be extended to him. Contrasting with this, Mark notes the betrayal of Bill Clinton which led to North Korea becoming a nuclear armed state. He also recalls that Obama cut a deal so that Iran could ultimately become a nuclear armed state before Trump happily ripped up that deal. Following this, Biden actually funded the Iranians as they proceeded with their nuclear weapons development. With all of this in mind, Mark reminds us of the fact that the wise and judicious use of the military for good and specific purposes will actually result in peace, not war.
Subscribe to Israpundit Daily Digest for FreeWith the order to strike the Iranian nuclear program, thus ending it, has led to both those on the Left and those on the Right (including those among the Woke Right) being able to rest easily, assured that Iran will not have the capability to strike the US with a nuclear weapon specifically because of the actions and intentions of Pres. Trump. As Mark explains, “This is a Big Damned Day!” After giving the Islamo-Nazi regime in Iran multiple opportunities over two months to voluntarily end their nuclear pursuits, Trump acted and ended it for them. Mark also salutes the remarkable efforts of the Israeli military, taking out the military infrastructure, the nuclear scientists, and their ballistic missiles. Mark reflected upon the similarity between Trump and Netanyahu working to dismantle Iran’s hostile posture/capabilities being reminiscent of the working relationship between Reagan and Thatcher while defeating the Soviet Union, and the manner and effectiveness of them doing so will not be lost on the Russians or the Chinese. Naturally, the reaction of the Democrats to Trump’s actions is to call for new impeachment hearings, and Mark reminds us that had Harris been president today, Iran would certainly be a nuclear power. Importantly, Mark continues by explaining that there is a distinction between a great leader and someone who is simply elected as president, and the American people are aware of Trump being a great leader, which only frustrates the Dems and the Woke Right. Noting that it was always clear to him that the Islamo-Nazis were not going to negotiate in good faith, Mark also shares that it was not a surprise that Trump would need to act and that he would act, regardless of the calls of the Dems, the Woke Right and the feckless Europeans for Trump to surrender as had his predecessors.

Peloni: In his opening segment in the June 22 show, Mark discusses the importance of the alliance which Israel and the US, as well as the friendship and similaries which exists between Trump and Netanyahu. He explains that these two great leaders of our time face many of the same obstacles, many of the same forces, and many of the same people as they struggle to fulfill the respective roles for which they were elected. In the case of Trump, Mark reminds us of the two forces which specifically oppose Trump: the Marxist-Islamist Dems and the Isolationists. While disregarding the efforts of these two groups, Trump and his civilian and military teams designed a plan which will go down in history as one of the greatest military achievements in world history by preventing a Nagasaki/Hiroshima type attack being directed at the US. In addressing the charges and concerns raised by the Marxist-Islamist Dems and the Woke Right Isolationists, Mark details the complete lack of awareness of both of these groups as to the intent of the Islamo-Nazi Iranians wanting to destroy the US, the West, and the Israelis, Jews and Christians alike. The apparent ignorance of Trump’s detractors regarding the enemy in Tehran is inexplicable. Notably, had Iran developed nuclear weapons, Iran’s enemies would have followed with their own attempts to do so resulting in nuclear proliferation in the most dangerous area in the world. A nuclear armed Iran could also fire short ranged nuclear weapons at US bases across the Middle East. The Iranians could also have handed nuclear weapons to their proxy forces such as the Houthis to use against the world’s vital shipping lanes, and they could have given a dirty bomb to one of their sleeper cells. All of these very real scenarios demonstrate that there was no option for the US but to deprive the Iranians of the capabilities to achieve any of this. Importantly, Mark explains that Trump’s detractors on this point have been acting dangerously and irresponsibly by actively giving aid and comfort to the Islamo-Nazis with their very words. Mark next addresses the efforts by Trump’s detractors to invoke the War Powers Act, raising the warning that those who do so are truly the enemy within the US. Mark goes thru the War Powers Act, detailing the unconstitutional and unworkable aspects of this law. In closing this segment, Mark addresses the Israeli people while saluting their bravery and success, explaining that Trump has laid down a choice for the Iranian regime: the Iranian regime can choose peace with the US or they will be annihilated, it is that simple. Noting that while this is not an effort to change the regime in Iran, if they attack the US, the Iranian regime will be destroyed.
In his second segment, Mark interviews PM Netanyahu’s close confident, Min. of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer. Dermer offers his strong praise for Trump having taken the steps to try to stabilize the region by defanging the nuclear threat from Iran. Explaining that the false reports of trouble between Israel and the US could not be less accurate, but likely added to the success of the US and Israeli operations. Explaining further that this is a pivot for history, where Iran’s nuclear program has been ended, while the Iranian ballistic missiles are being eliminated. Importantly, Dermer details that by using military force in Iran will help prevent the use of military force in the future, due to this precedent having been set, resulting in leaders around world leaders will certainly take Pres. Trump very seriously because of his actions in Iran. More than this, after the military debacles/misadventures which took place in Afghanistan and Iraq, Trump demonstrated to the American people that military force could be used in a smart and effective manner which would make America and the world a safer place as a result. Also, by acting before America was attacked, it allowed Trump the ability to prevent the folly of the 1930’s in which the American people followed the sentiments similar to the Woke Right of today, something which made WWII far more costly and far more difficult to fight, something which Dermer also acknowledges should be attributed to Netanhayu as well.
In the third segment, Mark talks with Prof. John Yoo about the War Powers Act. Explaining that the congress has legitimate roles to play in wartime, it can not invent a limiting authority over the president’s role as commander in chief simply because they want to do so, as it would require an amendment to the constitution, rather than thru the passage of simple legislation such as the War Powers Act.
