Their weapons belonged to the organization for which they worked or to the State! They weren’t privately owned at all,” Feiglin said.
“How many tractors running people over, knife-wielding terrorists or other murderers and robbers have been neutralized by responsible citizens bearing licensed firearms?” Feiglin asked. “So if weapons-bearing citizens help to secure the public domain, shouldn’t the State encourage responsible citizens to practice shooting and carry weapons? Why does it do just the opposite?
The answer is that the State of Israel is not increasing our liberties; it is reducing them. Dictatorship confiscate citizens’ weapons. ‘The State alone will take care of all your security needs’.
In the past, there were 300,000 citizens licensed to bear weapons in Israel. That number has now been cut in half. As a member of the Knesset Interior Committee, I was able to stop the trend. But we have to understand: Without liberty, we will not enjoy security,” Feiglin concluded.

What is absolutely clear to me is that you are afraid in daily life , you stated it explicitly and implicitly that the perception of danger is a one to one bonding in your mind with fear. Instead of changing yourself which is the growth process you seek to change the nature of reality (which of course is not possible ) and to try to control the behaviour of other humans (which are objects to you) in order to buffer and protect your self from your overriding emotions of fear and anxiety.
So there you have yet another reason to repress other humans – their natural freedom and free speech is a danger to your emotional security. This is shown in your display of anger and threats against others which is your primary defense mechanism.
Your bluster is an ego defense, which is to be expected.
The key to your freedom is to learn to conquer yourself, not others. You can never win on the course you are on, should you suppress the entire human race your inner fear will still consume you.
