New sanctions hit Lebanese bank subsidizing terror group

The Trump administration on Thursday issued a new batch of sanctions on the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah in the latest salvo aimed at disrupting the Iranian-backed organization’s illicit funding and weapons networks, according to information provided by the State and Treasury Departments.

As Iran continues to ratchet up regional support for terror groups that have attacked American and allied forces, the Trump administration is moving to disrupt these terror groups by hitting them in their pocketbooks. The latest sanctions target Lebanon’s Jammal Trust Bank SAL, which the Trump administration has identified as providing “illicit financial and banking activities” for Hezbollah.

President Trump has been unarguably the most pro-Jewish, pro-Israel President we’ve ever had, surpassing George Washington, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln and Harry Truman.  His stand against Iran (vociferous enemy of Israel), finally moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, cutting funds to the PA and closing the PLO office in Washington, his donations to Jewish causes, and developing housing for Russian-Jewish immigrants in Brooklyn are just some of the points, but many non-Orthodox American Jews are calling him antisemitic.  It is primarily the Democrat Jews who appear antisemitic when they continue to support their party whose members explicitly express their hatred of Israel and Jews worldwide.  It may be that their desire to distance themselves from their heritage in eastern Europe and Israel has rendered them irrational, and psychological projection has them denying their own impulses as they attribute them to others – specifically to President Trump.       Read more…

A threatened demonstration by a coalition of British groups from the international Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel was all it took to intimidate a London NGO into postponing a lecture by the Israeli Regavim NGO that was to focus on European funding for illegal Palestinian Authority activity.

The event was put off ” so that proper security measures can be put into place,” according to the UKLFI Charitable Trust, which organized the event. The decision came after a consortium of BDS activists and anti-Israel groups threatened to hold a day-long a mass demonstration at the event, sparking fears of a “security threat.”

Statements from President Donald Trump last week about American Jews “being disloyal” set off a firestorm of criticism from Jewish groups.It was clear that the president was criticizing liberal Jews for not prioritizing support for Israel rather than promoting anti-Semitism, as some on the left tried to assert.

This latest rehashing of the debate about Trump — in which the majority of liberal Jews were given yet another opportunity to vent their distaste and rage about his presidency — shed little light about either Middle East policy or the realities of American Jewish politics.

But it should have reminded us of something that ought to be of enormous interest to American Jews: the disconnect between American Jewish ideas about Israel and the views of the overwhelming majority of Israelis.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard a Jew say to me, “Jews are their own worst enemy,” I’d be rivaling Jeff Bezos as the world’s richest man. Is a Jew calling other Jews the “worst enemy” of other Jews,” antisemitic? No! He’s just stating the obvious truth that is clear as clear can be.

So, if it’s true that “Jews are sometimes their own worst enemy,” then, it’s certainly not antisemitic to state the truth. Then why is President Trump being attacked as “antisemitic” for calling the American Jews who still support the Democrats “disloyal to Israel” when it means they support Rep. Omar and Tlaib who are clearly enemies of Israel?  The answer is because President Trump has ripped off the false veneer of American Jewish Democrat faux support for the safety and security of Israel.

PA leader Mahmoud Abbas will go down in history as a corrupt dictator whose only achievement was fostering dissent within Palestinian society.

Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas announced on August 19, 2019, that all of his advisers had completed their work, regardless of their level and titles. In short, he fired them.

At the same time, Abbas ordered former PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and the ministers of the previous government to return salary increases that they had received, amounting to $100,000-$120,000 each. (The pay increases were originally approved by Abbas himself, in contravention of Palestinian law.)

Abbas’s decision was announced via the official PA news agency WAFA, with no further explanation.

Abbas had employed dozens of advisers, in various capacities. Among the most prominent were Nabil Shaath, adviser on international affairs; Mahmoud Al-Habash, adviser on religious affairs; Gen. Ismail Jaber, adviser on security affairs; Ali Mahana, legislative adviser; and Majdi Al-Haldi, adviser on foreign affairs.

“The struggles of the Anya Nya and other blacks in the south of the Sudan and elsewhere were in full bloom, yet one would never know anything about this stuff if the academic syllabus and classroom were the sources of information. Ammar Abdulhamid said that there is a colonialist-imperialist streak in all civilizations and this means that the colonialist aspects of Zionism are not unique. He argued that the Arabs have become nihilistic with regard to Israel because they focused on annihilating Israel instead of building a Palestinian state right from the start. He also said that one cannot ignore the role that Arab Jews played in Israel’s establishment and the fact that they did so in order to escape persecution by Muslim Arabs. In addition, Abdulhamid pointed out that the West was not always supportive of Israel, despite Arab claims that the West planted Israel as a foreign cancer in the Middle East. He added that Israel is the most successful and most stable country in the Middle East and it would make no sense for Israel to be annihilated while unstable countries like Egypt and Syria survived.

Over the weekend PJTN issued a press release in which I personally called upon Christians worldwide to educate themselves on the true agenda of the “Christ At The Checkpoint” organization—a group with a Christian sounding name but a nefarious mission.  Under this veneer of sheep’s clothing lives the ravening wolf mentality of an antisemitic, pro-Palestinian group that makes loud proclamation that Jesus was in reality a Palestinian. They have attempted to cover-up the persecution of Christians in Bethlehem and throw up media blocks on the reality of the mass exodus of thousands of true Christians who have fled the city under the oppressive rule of the Palestinian Authority Control.

In a recent tweet, Ilhan Omar revealed her planned trip to Bethlehem on her now defunct visit to Israel.  Part of the agenda for Omar and Tlaib would have been a planned meeting in Bethlehem with Christ At The Checkpoint—a meeting  I could best describe as “old home week for terrorists.”
