Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk: The dynamic duo

What is terrific about this interview is that it is not like any other. They are both so natural. There is no formality here. They are two great friends sounding off and having fun. That doesn’t mean they don’t get serious at times. Very entertaining.

For Being Such an Idiot, Trump is Pretty Smart

With a few tweets and comments, Trump has rebranded the Democratic Party as the party of socialism, with its new party leaders viewed negatively by the vast majority of swing voters.

By Brian C. Joondeph, AMERICAN THINKER

We have been hearing now for four years, ever since that escalator ride at Trump Tower, how then-candidate, now-President Trump is such an idiot. The media, Democrats, and NeverTrumpers, virtually in lockstep assured us that Trump would never be the Republican nominee. When he was, they doubled down promising that he would never be president. Every so-called opinion poll confirmed their predictions.

So who turned out to be smart, winning the White House, and who turned out to be a bunch of buffoons? Yet they still couldn’t admit that they were wrong, predicting that Trump would be impeached or that he would resign from office under intense pressure from critics and scandal. From Stormy Daniels and Michael Avenatti to Robert Mueller to Megan Rapinoe, each one was portrayed as the dragon-slayer ready to bring down Trump.

How Trump and Netanyahu Reflect Each Other

By Ron Jager, AMERICAN THINKER

The juvenile “Mod Squad” of four freshmen congresswomen deceptively accuse anyone critical of their clearly anti-American, anti-Semitic, and anti-Western rantings of being racists and fundamentally opposed to people of color.  Ehud Barak and Benny Gantz, both vocal opponents of the Likud party and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, dishonestly accuse the current leader of Israel of being a danger to Israel’s democratic system, demonizing the legitimacy of his re-election over the years.  What’s common to both the anti-Trump and anti-Netanyahu media-supported campaigns orchestrated by the leftist-progressive political parties in the United States and in Israel is the goal of making the coming elections in both countries a binary choice, an either us or them choice, an issue of black or white, vote for reality or vote for the illusion.

Polls give right-wing alliance headed by Shaked 12-13 seats

T. Belman. Liberman now stands at 9 seats. Bibi is weakened. If the polls are right, Blue and White will be the biggest party. But the Right under Shaked and the religious parties will not abandon Likud. I don’t see a way around. Liberman must be bought off. Let’s hope he doesn’t up the ante. Before he just wanted his law on drafting the Hareidi to be accepted. He has almost doubled his seats. How can Bibi and the Hareidi say no?

Surveys indicate Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu remains kingmaker of next coalition

A pair of television polls aired Sunday gave an alliance of the New Right and Union of Right-Wing Parties headed by Ayelet Shaked 12-13 seats in parliament, if September’s Knesset elections were held today. Shaked was announced earlier Sunday as the New Right’s new leader.

If Shaked’s New Right and Rafi Peretz’s URWP ran separately, they would pick up six and five seats respectively, for a combined total of 11, according to a Channel 12 TV news survey. However, together on a combined slate with the far-right Otzma Yehudit party and under Shaked’s leadership, the alliance would get 13 of the Knesset’s 120 seats, the poll found.

Iraq between the devil and the deep-blue sea

Troubling as this issue is, it is Iraq’s relations with its geographical neighbors that find the state balancing on a political tightrope.

BY NEVILLE TELLER, JPOST

Glance at a map of the Middle East, and the geopolitical-cum-religious complications facing Iraq are immediately apparent. The country is like a wedge, forced between the two bitterly opposed leaders of the Muslim world – Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shia Iran. Following decades of instability and civil war, it is only in the past few months that Iraq has been secure enough to start the process of carving out an appropriate place for itself within the political structure of the region.

The overthrow of the Saddam Hussein regime in 2003 led to Iraq becoming a battlefield of competing jihadist militias. For a while, US-led coalition forces attempted to quell the chaos. When this failed, the US formally withdrew its fighting force in an effort to outflank the strong anti-Western sentiment that provided the battle cry for many of the armed forces.

The Humanitarian Hoax of Department of Homeland Security’s Security: Killing America With Kindness – hoax 40

by Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY

The Humanitarian Hoax is a deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was established November 25, 2002, by the Homeland Security Act of 2002. DHS is a cabinet department formed in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the homeland. The DHS mission statement is clear, “With honor and integrity, we will safeguard the American people, our homeland, and our values.”

Free Zion: Our new defiant slogan

Living under threat, the Yemenite community in Silwan were evacuated for safety concerns by the Jewish National Committee, and by 1945, no Jews remained in Silwan.

Jerusalem’s Pilgrimage Road. (photo credit: MARC ISRAEL SELLEM)

I was reading an article in The Jerusalem Post about the newly discovered Pilgrimage Road, a pathway that Jewish pilgrims took to the ancient Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The site was stumbled upon by accident. A rusty water pipe burst in Silwan, a place where after 1948, Arabs moved into the homes of Yemenite Jews forced to flee by marauding Arab rioters and the invading Jordanian army, while the nascent state of Israel perilously held onto territory by its fingertips from aggressive Arab armies launching a war of annihilation against the new Jewish state.

In the 1880s, Jews from Yemen began to make their way to Jerusalem on foot, a journey drawn by the magnet of the Jewish Temple. The pilgrimage trek took half a year. They arrived destitute, but elated, to make their new homes in Silwan within touching distance of all that was sacred by the Old City walls.

Jewish Fawning Over Omar Has Made Her More Aggressive

T. Belman. CBS interviewed the “Squad”. These four snakes (a la Trump’s tale about the snake killing her saviour)are very articulate, for the most part attractive and very softspoken. Demure you might say. But they are as dangerous as the snake in the tale.

The interviewer in this CBS video, started by asking them about their antisemitism and anti-Americanism. They all avoided the question and and went on full attack mode dripping with honey. They all played fast and loose with the facts, i.e., lied and distorted to vilify Trump. They all act saintly while demonizing Trump. They made me sick. I couldn’t watch the whole thing.

By Rabbi Aryeh Spero, AMERICAN THINKER

Most of the Jewish community has feverishly and piously supported last week’s Democrat-sponsored Resolution condemning President Trump’s remarks against Ilhan Omar. Omar, of course, is a notorious, unrepentant anti-Semite and daily demonizer of Israel.  But she has become, for many Jews, a heroine, a civil rights star, a noble cause.  Enjoying such support, Omar rewarded the Jewish community by immediatelyannouncing, after the Resolution’s passage, a piece of legislation demanding that Congress vote in favor of BDS against Israel and her Jewish inhabitants.

Mogadishu Mon Amour

By Clarice Feldman, AMERICAN THINKER

The French movie Hiroshima Mon Amour is based on human memory and forgetfulness as recounted by two lovers. The tale of the congresswoman who calls herself Ilhan Omar is a tale of an anti-Semite bred-in-the-bone corruptocrat whose rise in political power rests very largely on complicity by the media’s airbrushing of her history because they thought this physically attractive African Moslem “refugee” was just the ticket to defeat Donald Trump. The media counts on our forgetfulness and ignorance.

Hard work by independent media, however, has exposed her and her media apologists and the Democrats have little choice: Condemn her and remove her from her committee assignments or suffer the consequences. Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s repeated defense of her, (doubtless for fear of being targeted by the leftist nutjobs in her ranks) has placed her party’s continued majority in serious jeopardy.

Time to bury the PLO

It’s not just about burying the PLO, but also resurrecting Jordan in the ‘West Bank’.

By David Singer, INN

Dry Bones: Burying the PLO

President Trump’s “deal of the century” – aimed at ending 100 years of conflict between Jews and Arabs over the territory once called “Palestine” – continues to flounder in the face of

  • The PLO’s outright rejection of Trump’s deal – even before its details have been published
  • Jordan’s continuing refusal to agree to negotiate with Israel when the deal is released

Jordan comprises 78% of former Palestine and is the only sovereign Arab state to have ever occupied (albeit illegally) the Judea and Samaria aka ‘West Bank’ – 4% of former Palestine – between 1948 and 1967.

King Abdullah and the members of Jordanian royal family will flee

By Vijaya Laxmi Tripura, WEEKLY BLITZ

Jordan’s King’s Clock Is Ticking. What Should America Do?

By Mudar Zahran, AMERICAN THINKER

As these lines are written, Jordanian rebels are marching towards the king’s palace in downtown Amman.  These protests have been regular since February and aren’t major…yet.

Nonetheless, the protesters, and the public in general, are unprecedently angry with the king.  Calling him by name, they chant obscenities against him and his family, not to mention scream the word “Irhal,” which means “step down” in Arabic.  Meanwhile, the country has been engulfed in unrest and violence.  Jordanian are hungry and angry, and the king is out of touch.

The status quo was described best by a former senior Jordanian diplomat and writer, Fouad Batinah.  Writing for a London-based newspaper, Ray Aloyoum, he said:

Religious Zionist women: ‘Let Ayelet win!’

A group of leading Religious Zionist women is calling for Ayelet Shaked to be placed as the head of a joint right-wing list.

By Shimon Cohen, ARUTZ SHEVA

Ayelet Shaked

Shortly before the decisive moments regarding the shared or separate future of the right-wing parties, a number of leading Religious Zionist women formed a group to call for former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to be placed as the head of a joint right-wing list.

Under the headline “Let Ayelet Win!” the group’s message says, “Ayelet Shaked should lead the list of the United Right.” The group reports on the great responsiveness of women from all walks of Religious Zionism to the call to place Shaked at the top of the list. The group’s call is backed by recent surveys in the Religous Zionist community which showed that Shaked would bring the maximum number of seats to a right-wing list.

A Hamas attack on a school bus near KIbbutz Sa’ad

Debunking the “cycle of violence” lie.

Howard Rotberg, FPM

In this article I wish to go back a few years to 2011 to shed some light on the continuing rocket attacks from the Hamas terrorist government in Gaza against Israeli civilians. This backstory aims to inform about just one.

Since its violent takeover of the Gaza Strip in 2007, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have carried out hundreds of horrific suicide bombings, shootings, stabbings and ramming attacks that have killed and maimed thousands of Israelis. To those who advocate giving the Palestinian Authority a state in Judea and Samaria (the so-called West Bank), there is a legitimate concern that, as in Gaza, a terrorist organization controlled by Iran, would overthrow any government.

‘Palestine in the age of identity politics

By Asaf Romirofsky, JPOST   JULY 20, 2019

In contrast to the American political arena, Palestinian politics have always been about identity politics: Palestine is for Palestinians and we are here, whatever that means.

Mark Lilla’s superb book, The Once and Future Liberal After Identity Politics, correctly describes the zeitgeist of identity politics in American society today especially, within left-wing circles. Lilla correctly observes that democratic politics is about persuasion, not self-expression. “I’m here, I’m queer,” will never provoke more than a pat on the head or a roll of the eyes. Accept that you will never agree with people on everything – that’s to be expected in a democracy.

One effect of engaging in social movements tied to identity is that you’ve been surrounded by the like-minded and like-faced and like-educated. Impose no purity tests on those you would convince. Not everything is a matter of principle, and even when something is, there is usually other, equally important principles that might have to be sacrificed to preserve this one. Moral values are not pieces in a puzzle where everything has been precut to fit.

Finally: Ted Cruz Pushes To Designate Antifa As Terrorist Organization

The violent thugs of Antifa are about to get a wake-up call from the junior senator from Texas.

Sen. Ted Cruz is co-sponsoring a Senate resolution titled “A resolution calling for the designation of Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.”

Cruz’s co-sponsor on the resolution is Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. The resolution seeks to condemn “the violent acts carried out by members of Antifa” and is “calling for the designation of the group as a domestic terrorist organization.”

“Antifa is a group of hateful, intolerant radicals who pursue their unhinged agenda through aggressive violence,” Cruz said in a statement. “Time and time again their actions have demonstrated that their only purpose is to inflict harm on those who oppose their views. The hate and violence they spread must be stopped, and I am proud to introduce this resolution with Senator Cassidy to properly identify what Antifa are: domestic terrorists.”

Jordan, Palestine moving closer

By Daoud Kuttab, JORDAN TIMES

This is Duaa from Radio Nisaa FM in Ramllah, tell us what is happening in Jordan.”

“This is Rawan from Radio Al Balad in Amman, tell us what is happening in Palestine.”

The above is the opening exchange of a weekly slot on Palestinian and Jordanian radio shows. The exchange is informative, funny and warm. The two women talked about politics, daily life issues and what is trending on social media in each other’s community.

The morning radio programme exchange is just one of many signs about the Jordanian-Palestinian re rapprochement that has been going on for some time as Palestinians seek a trusted neighbour outside the Israeli occupation.

Netanyahu Keeps Winning Because He’s an Effective Leader

Israel’s prime minister has now served in the role for as long as the country’s founding father. Voters support him because they’re convinced he keeps them safe and reduces their international isolation.

Benjamin Netanyahu is a controversial guy. He can be entertaining and charming at times—but brazen and arrogant, too.  Bill Clinton, who’s hard to alienate, especially when it comes to his love for Israel, exploded to his staff after his first official encounter with Netanyahu: “Who’s the fucking superpower here.” His secretary of state, Madeleine Albright, once likened Netanyahu—unflatteringly—to Newt Gingrich. And President Barack Obama couldn’t stand him.

Netanyahu is the first Israeli prime minister to face indictment while in office, and he seems determined to do anything he can to remain in power, including maneuvering an entire nation into a do-over election in September rather than let his rivals get a chance to form a government. And some polls suggest a majority of Israelis—who never loved him—may finally be tiring of him.

Teaching High School Students to Demonize Israel

As a wave of anti-Israel hate spreads from elite college campuses to public high schools, some Massachusetts parents wanted to fight back. But they were not joined by the major Jewish organizations. What happened in Newton?

By Liel Leibovitz, TABLET

Shortly after Rosh Hashanah of 2011, Shiri Pagliuso, a Jewish ninth grader at the Newton South High School, came home with an awkward question for her father. She had learned some things about Israel in school, she said, and she wanted to know if they were true. For example, she asked if it was true that Israel was systematically torturing and killing Palestinian women.

Her father, Tony Pagliuso, pressed her for more information, so the young woman produced the handout she was given at school, titled the Arab World Studies Notebook. In it, Pagliuso found the following line: “Over the past four decades, women have been active in the Palestinian resistance movement. Several hundred have been imprisoned, tortured, and killed by Israeli occupation forces.”

Pagliuso, a dual citizen of the United States and Israel, was alarmed that such claims had somehow found their way into the curriculum of a public school. He called his daughter’s teacher, Jessica Engel.
