Many American Jews Need to Atone for Their Sins against Donald Trump

By Rabbi Aryeh Spero, AMERICAN THINKER

America has seen many presidents who have been good to Israel and the Jewish people.  None has been better than Donald Trump.  Beyond doubt, he has done unmatched and extraordinary things for Israel and has publicly spoken against anti-Semitism in the United Nations and repeatedly during his State of the Union addresses.  The whole world has seen the priority Mr. Trump bestows on Israel and safety for Jews.  Additionally, he and his father were tremendous friends and benefactors to Jews and Israel, much prior to his entering politics.  Yet the establishment Jewish organizations and temples have too often falsely maligned him, and liberal American Jewry (about 70% of American Jewry) have been his most vocal critics.  Actually, they are in the forefront against him, as often seen on television, in articles, and in speeches from non-orthodox rabbis on the pulpit.  Even among regular liberal Jews, the railing against Mr. Trump is incessant, hysterical, mean, and full of hate.  All of this constitutes gross, unprecedented ingratitude.  Jewish Tradition frowns on ingratitude, indeed calls it a sin.

Many in the secular Jewish community do not consider their attitude ungrateful inasmuch as support for Israel is no longer important to them, and they seem undaunted when anti-Semitism comes from the political Left (their home), or from social justice warriors and certain “minorities.”  What they consider good for Jews most often has nothing to do with Jewish need at all, but rather a universalist agenda at odds with Jewish survival.  In their zeal to destroy and remove Mr. Trump from the presidency, they have gone beyond ingratitude to downright lying about him, scheming against him, and throwing normal fairness and decency out the window.

Netanyahu and Liberman must stop Israel’s third election in a year

Liberman has publicly and arrogantly laid out his demands for joining  the Right-Wing bloc headed by Netanyahu. It is his and the prime minister’s responsiblity to reach an agreement.

By David Singer, INN

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Yisrael Beyteinu leader Avigdor Liberman have finally met  – albeit for just one hour – to discuss the possibility of the 63  votes they control being converted into Israel’s next Government.

It is hard to believe that having made that long-awaited breakthrough – they would be so  foolish and obstinate to refuse to compromise their differences to prevent the Israeli electorate going through a third election within twelve months.

The direct cost to the Israeli government for new elections, including a budget for the central elections committee and state funding for parties running in the elections, is estimated at NIS 800 million ($220 million).

Greenblatt Hopes Both Parties Will Read Peace Plan Carefully and Not Make Hasty Decisions

By Heba El Koudsy, ASHARQ Al-AWSAT

Outgoing US Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt. AFP fil…

Outgoing US Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt, who spent nearly three years trying to bring Israelis and Palestinians to the negotiation table, made last month a sudden decision to resign, before he even got a chance to show the world the policy that he secretly shaped. His resignation opened the door to a lot of speculations that the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan may not be fully revealed or is doomed to fail.

The Trump administration had said it would release the plan, dubbed the deal of the century, in the days following the Sept. 17 election in Israel, though no date has been announced.

Here is the full text of Greenblatt’s interview with Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper:

PA to receive more than 1 billion shekels from Israel

T. Belman. Israel is trying to buy quiet. With the same purpose they allow Qatar to give Gazans $25 million per month and allow 3000 Gazans to work in Israel.

This is a temporary solution only.

PA to receive a transfer of 1.5 billion shekels from Israel amid dispute between the sides over payments to terrorists.

By Elad Benari, INN

Money

The Palestinian Authority (PA) will receive a transfer of 1.5 billion shekels ($430 million) from Israel, officials from the two governments said Friday.

Israel will continue to deduct money from the transfers to account for the PA’s payments to prisoners, a decision that sparked the row, but the two sides have agreed to further talks to resolve that issue, the PA’s “civil affairs minister” Hussein al-Sheikh said, according to AFP.

Shai Babad, director general of Israel’s finance ministry, told AFP the transfer would be made on Sunday to the PA government, which is facing a crippling financial crisis caused by the dispute.

Impeachment Investigation Against Trump Parallels Probes Against Netanyahu

The difference between a flailing democracy and a resilient one.

Caroline Glick, FPM

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent announcement that she is opening an official impeachment inquiry against U.S. President Donald Trump struck many Israelis as yet another sign that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump are in the same boat. Both are being hounded by legal elites who will stop at nothing to oust them from office.

There are parallels between the two leaders.

Pelosi’s move followed the leak of a whistleblower complaint to the U.S. intelligence community’s inspector general. The complainant alleged that during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in July, Trump sought the Ukrainian leader’s assistance in advancing his 2020 re-election prospects. This is arguable.

Alan Dershowitz, a prominent law professor and champion of Israel, said he does not consider there to be enough evidence to convict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for corruption over his alleged negotiations with a newspaper publisher for better coverage, and that this is the kind of thing that all politicians do anyway.

Police have recommended that Netanyahu be indicted in three separate corruption cases, one of which, Case 2000, revolves around allegations that Netanyahu negotiated with Arnon Mozes, the publisher of the daily Yedioth Ahronoth, for better coverage as part of a quid pro quo deal.

“There is not enough proof of a criminal offense,” Dershowitz told Army Radio in an interview Thursday. “I think it is very dangerous to start indicting people based on negotiations with newspapers. That’s what politicians do.”

Here is a guide to the criminal cases surrounding Netanyahu.

ISRAEL HAYOM

What are the allegations against Netanyahu?

The attorney general announced in February that he intends to file criminal charges against Netanyahu in investigations listed as cases 4000, 1000 and 2000, pending the outcome of the hearings. Netanyahu could face fraud and breach of trust charges in all three cases, and bribery charges in case 4000.

Netanyahu says he is the victim of a politically orchestrated “witch-hunt” by the media and the left to oust him from office.

STRASBOURG, France — Denial of the Holocaust is not a human right, a European court ruled on Thursday, throwing out a complaint by a German neo-Nazi politician.

Udo Pastoers, who served in the local parliament of the northeastern region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, was convicted in Germany in 2012 after giving a speech in 2010 in which he appeared to cast doubt on whether the Holocaust really happened.

Pastoers, a member of the right-wing extremist National Democratic Party (NDP), lodged a complaint against the conviction with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in 2014.

American Jewry’s days of reckoning

The more strongly liberal Jews embrace progressivism, the less capable they become of defending their Judaism – much less defending their fellow Jews who aren’t progressive.

By Caroline B Glick, ISRAEL HAYOM

On September 29, President Donald Trump set out his nationalist political philosophy in his address before the UN General Assembly. Arguing that the nation-state is the best guarantor of human freedom and liberty, Trump set up a contrast between “patriots” and “globalists.”

“The future does not belong to globalists,” he said.

“The future belongs to patriots.  The future belongs to sovereign and independent nations who protect their citizens, respect their neighbors, and honor the differences that make each country special and unique.”

Jewish nationalists, that is, Zionists, could hear their core convictions echoed in Trump’s statement. Israeli political philosopher Yoram Hazony made much the same argument in his book, The Virtue of Nationalism, which was published last year.

Thousands in bloody protests across Iraq, 28 dead

BAGHDAD — Thousands of protesters clashed with riot police in Iraq’s capital and across the south on Thursday, the third day of mass rallies that have left 28 dead.

Defying curfews, tear gas and live rounds, they gathered by truckfuls to vent their anger against corruption, unemployment and poor services in the biggest challenge yet to Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi.

As dusk fell in Baghdad, crowds swelled around the capital’s oil and industry ministry, pledging to march to the capital’s emblematic Tahrir (Liberation) Square.

The Problem with ‘Anthropogenic Global Warming’

By Ferdinand Bardamu, AMERICAN THINKER

The mainstream “consensus” on anthropogenic global warming (AGW) says the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) remained stable for millions of years, until the Industrial Revolution, when it went from 280 ppm in 1750 to 414.7 ppm in 2019.  Environmentalists blame this on man’s consumption of fossil fuels, which has increased significantly since the early 1900s.

In support of the “consensus” view, climate change researchers write: “[T]he current CO2 concentration is unprecedented over the past 3 million years[.] … [G]lobal temperature never exceeded the preindustrial value by more than 2°C during the Quaternary” (Willeit et al., 2019).  Environmentalists predict that, as anthropogenic CO2 rises, there will be more and more natural disasters, threatening the lives of millions of people around the world.  These include more frequent and severe hurricanes, widespread flooding, extreme heat waves, and prolonged drought.

The Temple Mount’s treasure trove

The project to excavate the foundations of the Western Wall – the hewn blocks of stone at the foundation of the sacred site – never stops revealing archaeological surprises.

The Temple Mount's treasure trove

The bulla with the inscription “asher al habayit” | Photo: City of David/Eliyahu Yanai

A small clay bulla, or seal, that was used to sign official letters in the days of the kingdom of Judea waited nearly 2,600 years amid the rubble at the foundations of the Western Wall to be discovered by Israeli archaeologists. For eight years, the rubble has been cleared away, one bucket after another, and taken directly to the site of the Temple Mount Sifting Project operated by the Ir David Foundation and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.

Comparatively large finds, such as a chisel used to carve the stones of the Western Wall, turn up immediately. Small discoveries usually come to light only after some time has passed. The dirt that contained the royal seal had been waiting six years to be sifted. A few weeks ago, project volunteer Batya Ofan, dumped it onto a large sieve, washed it down, and uncovered a royal seal from the seventh century BCE bearing the name “Adoniyahu asher al habayit” (translation: Adoniyahu, who is over [oversees] the house) in early Hebrew script.

The demographic shift in Israel, marked by an increase in fertility rates among Jews and a decrease among Muslims, continued last year, as the total fertility rate for Jewish women hit a 45-year high.

According to data released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, the total fertility rate – that is, the average number of children a woman will have in her life time – for Jewish women in Israel rose in 2018 to 3.17, the highest level since the early 1970s, when the Jewish TFR averaged 3.28. In the 1990s, the Jewish TFR fell to its lowest level, averaging 2.62 both between 1990 to 1994 and 1995 to 1999.

The increase in the Israeli Jewish TFR in 2018 was smaller than in previous years, rising only 0.01 from the 3.16 total fertility rate in 2017.

The Humanitarian Hoax of Eternal Childhood: Killing America With Kindness – hoax 50

by Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY

The Humanitarian Hoax is a deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy.

The humanitarian hoax of eternal childhood is a deliberate political strategy to destroy America from within by regressing its chronological adults to emotional children unable to think and behave as rational adults. It is a sinister psychological operation (PSYOPS) designed to invert the growth process and deny Americans the emotional maturity required to support ordered liberty and a free society.

The United States of America is the greatest experiment in individual freedom the world has ever known. Our Founding Fathers drafted a Constitution that rejected monarchy, oligarchy, theocracy, and any form of statism that deprived individual citizens of their individual rights. The United States of America celebrates individualism in a socio-economic structure that demands the adult attitudes of self-sufficiency, autonomy, and willingness to compete in a system of free market capitalism.

The newspaper obtained a classified document from an undisclosed source claiming that Saudi Arabia proposed two options to the US on how to topple the Islamic Republic – “Nimrod” and “Spider.”

Spider focused on using software to sway political opinions within the government in the hopes of bringing about a regime change by 2020.
