Jews, get out.

American universities have become whirlpools of downward mobility that target the people and the ideas that they once cherished and protected. It’s time for Jews to stop paying for them.

By Liel Leibovitz, TABLET

When I immigrated to America, 20 years ago this fall, I had just over $2,000 in my pocket that I’d saved working as a night watchman at a factory back home in Israel. I also had an inflatable mattress on the floor of a friend’s one-bedroom in White Plains, New York, and a promise that I could stay for two weeks, maybe three, until I found a place of my own. But most importantly, I had a story about my future.

As soon as I woke up that first morning, I took the train to 116th and Broadway, got off, strolled through the gates of Columbia University, and stood there gazing at the bronze Alma Mater sculpture guarding the steps to Low Library. Her face was serene, her lap adorned by a thick book, and her arms open wide, to embrace, or so I imagined, folks like me who were reasonably smart and wildly motivated and ready to work as hard as was needed to make something of themselves. In a year, maybe two, I thought, I’d find my way into the ivied cloister, and when I emerged on the other end I’d no longer be just another impoverished newcomer: A Columbia degree would accredit me, would validate me and suggest to those around me, from members of my family to potential employers, that I was a man in full, worthy of my slice of the American pie.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said Israel had reinstated its controversial policy of targeted killings and warned that the “rules of the game” vis-a-vis the Gaza Strip have changed.

The prime minister was briefed by army officials in southern Israel and visited wounded soldiers at a Beersheba hospital on Monday, hours after a ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian terror groups went into effect, ending two days of intense fighting that saw more than 600 rockets fired at Israel and four Israeli civilians killed.

In response to the onslaught, the Israeli military conducted over 300 strikes from the air and land, including a rare assassination of a terrorist operative, who the IDF said funneled money from Iran to terror groups in the Strip.

8 Years of Media Lies About the Syrian Civil War Exposed

By Daniel Greenfield

The end of the big lie about the origins of the Syrian Civil War began on the Arizona border.

Claas Relotius, a German reporter for Der Spiegel, had written a piece about being embedded with a militia patrolling the Arizona border for illegal migrants. Gullible German leftist readers were regaled with tales of the militia, whose leader called Mexicans “bean eaters” and, at the end of the article, opened fire into the night. It was one of a series of Relotius articles delving into Trump country with novelistic accounts of pro-Trump Americans that confirmed all the stereotypes of Der Spiegel’s readers.

Netanyahu ahould have delivered this speech

“And now, as you continue to launch deadly missiles indiscriminately, intended to maim and murder as many civilians as possible, while you take cowardly refuge behind your own civilians – you continue to inspire us to hold strongly onto our unity. Every centimeter of land that we conquer wll be annexed to Israel, so that there will *never* be another attack launched at our civilians from there.

To Ismail Haniya, and the leaders and operatives of Hamas:

We, the people of Israel, owe you a huge debt of gratitude. You have succeeded where we have failed. Because never before, in the history of the modern State of Israel, has the Jewish people been so united, like one person with one heart. Everyone in Israel, from Left to Right, secular and religious, in united in the knowledge that there is no accommodating an enemy that is sworn to the genocide of our people.

And now, as you continue to launch deadly missiles indiscriminately, intended to maim and murder as many civilians as possible, while you take cowardly refuge behind your own civilians – you continue to inspire us to hold strongly onto our unity. Whatever disputes we Jews may have with each other, we now know that we have one common goal: we will defeat you.

U.S. Jews are more likely than Christians to say Trump favors the Israelis too much

T. Belman. That’s not suprising though it is lamentable. Most Democrats would say the same thing as the Jews, who are Democrats, said.

The Humanitarian Hoax of Political Correctness: Killing America With Kindness – hoax #29

by Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY

The Humanitarian Hoax is a deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy. Political correctness is a humanitarian hoax. It is a deceitful end-run around the First Amendment guarantee of freedom of speech. This is how it works.

The freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution award citizens the right to disagree without fear of reprisal. American civil society is predicated upon the freedom to express disagreement, and is diametrically opposed to the politically correct demand for avoidance of language that might be offensive and hurt someone’s feelings.

The freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution do not care about anyone’s feelings – political correctness does. Political correctness is a severe prohibition on free speech disguised as courtesy.

Bolton: US deploying bombers to Middle East in warning to Iran

US national security adviser says move is response to ‘a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings’.

AL JAZEERA

The United States is deploying a carrier strike group and a bomber task force to the Middle East to send a clear message to Iran that any attack on US interests or its allies will be met with “unrelenting force”.

Amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran, US National Security Advisor John Bolton said on Sunday that the deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to the US Central Command region was a response “to a number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings”.

“The United States is not seeking war with the Iranian regime, but we are fully prepared to respond to any attack, whether by proxy, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps or regular Iranian forces,” Bolton said in a statement.

When the clocks strike 13 (George Orwell was prescient))

T. Belman in Memo to Kushner I recomend that we empty Gaza of most Gazans and then annex it. Gaza has 1.7 million arabs of which 1.4 are refugees.

By Tabitha Korol

“It was a cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.”  Thus began George Orwell’s prophetic novel, 1984, written forty years earlier, preparing the reader for a dystopian future under socialism – a society of great suffering and injustice, and bereft of reason.  This symbol of the thirteenth stroke brings into question what transpired through all the previous twelve hours, when inhumanity triumphed over our society, destroying our time and history itself.

In Orwell’s tale, words were constantly being removed from the language and history repeatedly revised so that the citizens could no longer formulate thoughts.  The character, Winston Smith, explains, “He who controls the past, controls the future.  He who controls the present controls the past.”   We live in similar times, perhaps not as dramatically, but certainly equally disturbing.   We are witness to ongoing destruction of our vocabulary, disintegration of the family unit, isolation and disorientation of the individual, demolition of historic monuments, whitewashed history, and a tampering of time, all combining to extinguish and remake our society.  The focus of this diminished schooling and re-education is our young.

The Future of American Jewry is Orthodox

T. Belman. If a Jew knows nothing about Judaism and doesn’t care about being Jewish, why should he care about Israel? Why should he stand with the Jewish people?

By Martin Ingall, AMERICAN THINKER

The liberal American Jewish population is shrinking dramatically while Orthodoxy continues to grow. The American Jewish future is Orthodox.

For many years Orthodox Jews recognized, if begrudgingly, that the Reform, Conservative and Reconstructionist movements had appeal for Jews who were religiously uneducated or did not affirm Jewish law, or whose agnosticism meant discomfort with traditional Judaism.  To its own discredit, Orthodox Judaism still has not committed itself to discovering more welcoming models without comprising its principles.

There used to be many common values among Jews of all affiliations.  A love of Jewish culture, the bond of recent immigrants, clear support for Israel, common cause against anti-Semitism, a respect for ritual even if not practiced personally, and love of America for its liberty, acceptance and opportunity.  Little of this endures.

Islam: The Enemy of the Constitution

By Amil Imani

Islam with its rule of Sharia presents an imminent threat to subvert and replace the Constitution that governs our lives.

Muslims are the only minorities in the world who will never submit to Western laws and in fact, they are the only minority who actively works around the clock to dismantle it. To Muslims, the highest US authority and document is considered a heresy. In a parallel attack, “Legal Islam “exploits every provision of the law in free societies to promote Islam and silence its critics through expensive legal shenanigans.

So, our Constitution and even State and local laws are essentially meaningless to a Muslim, and the Bill of Rights, once its usefulness as a means to perpetuate Islam in America is no longer necessary, will certainly be disparaged and ignored.

Jordan’s King Sacks Intel Chief, Senior Officials Amid Plot Suspicions – Reports

SPUTNICK

Jordanian King Abdullah II delivers a speech at the parliament (file)

Jordanian King Abdullah II fired several senior officials, including the general intelligence chief over the past week following reports of a plot to destabilise the kingdom.

The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, citing anonymous sources, reported that several senior and influential Jordanian figures had conspired to hold a mass protest outside the royal palace in Amman to demonstrate a lack of public confidence in Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and thereby create instability in the kingdom.

The Jordanian King replaced the director of the General Intelligence Department, General Adnan al-Jundi, who held one of the most influential positions in the country. The palace issued a statement stating that the king had decided to retire Jundi, replacing him with General Ahmed Husni, who has served in several senior intelligence posts.

There is a provable case for “obstruction of Justice”…. Perpetrators are Andrew Weisman and Robert Meuller

>Howard Laitin. The prosecutors offered Corsi  a plea deal in lieu of indicting him IF he  provided a  link to connect Roger Stone and Donald Trump to Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. The choice they gave Corsi was to plead guilty to one count with the prosecutors’ agreement they would seek no prison term, OR  to  reject their  deal and spend possibly $2 million that he did not have to defend himself in a federal criminal case  before a hostile Washington jury that he was sure to lose that would result in a 25-year prison term. Since Corsi was 72 years old at the time,  a prison term of that length would have meant he was likely to die in federal prison. THERE IS A PROVABLE CASE OF “OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE”…. THE PERPETRATORS ARE ANDREW WEISMANN AND ROBERT MUELLER

From:When prescience was a crime

By Jerome Corsi

Special counsel’s prosecutors became angry and abusive in my six sessions of interviews with them over a two-month period in September and October last year precisely because I failed to have the all-important link to connect Roger Stone and Donald Trump to Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. There was, of course, no such link. (For more on this, see my new book “Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner to Mueller’s “Witch Hunt”.”)

Why were Mr. Mueller’s prosecutors so convinced they would lock and load their Russian collusion case with my testimony? Perhaps because in July and August 2016, when I was in Italy with my wife and family celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, I figured out on my own that Mr. Assange and WikiLeaks had possession of the stolen emails from John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. I also speculated Mr. Assange would make these emails public in a serial, drip-by-drip fashion as that year’s October Surprise. When I came to these conclusions, I began communicating by email and phone regarding my suspicions.

UK Voters Exact Retribution for Dodging Brexit

Tories have told Prime Minister May “to set a departure date next week.”

By STEPHEN MacLEAN, Special to the Sun | May 4, 2019

Brexit delayed is Brexit denied. Such logic fueled local elections in Britain, as voters exacted retribution for politicians’ refusal to discharge the people’s desire to exit the European Union and redeem UK independence. Hundreds of ballot papers were spoiled as variations of one word, embodying Britons’ one true choice, were scrawled across them. “Brexit.”

After the worst showing for Tories since John Major’s premiership — 1,334 seats lost and control of 44 English councils — Breitbart London reports that senior Tories have told Prime Minister May “to set a departure date next week.”

If she refuses, Conservatives’ backbench organization, the 1922 Committee, “could decide to change party rules to allow another no-confidence vote this year.” (A similar vote in December failed and, according to current party rules, 12 months must pass before holding another leadership challenge.)
