Poor Ann–Getting Picked On Again…If Jews Had Any Brains, They’d Be Christians (Take #2)

Now, Don’t Be Offended

by Gerald A. Honigman

Ann Coulter was recently in the news again. This time it was for accusing Asians and Jews of wanting to be blackshttps://www.newsweek.com/ann-coulter-twitter-tirade-ice-official-1322680.

Hey, don’t pick on Ann. She’s a truly loving soul.

In fact, she’s freely shared her very Christian love with many others over the years–including her late conservative Jewish actor friend, Ron Silver (a truly good guy), who brought her much joy by eating the host of the Christian communion at Sunday services with her. I heard that selfless Ann tried real hard to save Ron’s soul from eternal damnation by encouraging his conversion to Christianity on his deathbed from cancer about a decade ago. As a Jew (or Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh,  etc.), Ron could not get through the Pearly Gates in official Christian beliefs (“no gettin’ to the Father except through the Son,” etc.). I don’t know what Ron’s final decision was, but you can’t say that Saint Ann didn’t try https://www.wnd.com/2009/03/92155/

Progressive Jews and Antisemitism

By Karin McQuillan, AMERICAN THINKER

My father was a combat photographer in World War II, who filmed our frontline troops in Europe from Omaha Beach through the liberation of Paris and the Battle of the Bulge to Berlin in ruins.  He also filmed the liberation of Dachau, an experience so painful he never spoke about it to me until the last year of his life, at age ninety-eight.  He could hardly speak.  He was crying so hard his frail body was shaking, as he gasped out, “I’m sorry to be so weak.”

Battle of the Bulge

In my father’s his last years, many things fell away, but he always gave charity to one group, the Anti-Defamation League, the voice of conscience of American Jews fighting to purge our society of the scourge of antisemitism.

Candice Owens talks Hitler and Nationalism

T. Belman. Owens has my full support. I watched the clip of her remarks in which she said Hitler wasn’t a nationalist and said he was a globalist. She said “if Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, okay fine.”  I think she led with her chin on that one but she was referring to the distinction between nationalism and globalism and was defending nationalism.

In her clarifying remarks she said Hitler was “a homicidal, psychotic maniac” and there is “no excuse or defense ever for … everything that he did”. (When you go here be sure to unmute the sound)

I have heard her speak of Jews and antisemitism many times and can assure you she is in no way antisemetic.

Conservative pundit and speaker Candace Owens has responded to criticism of recently unearthed remarks she made late last year commenting on Hitler while defending the term nationalism.

A Bridge Too Far*

by Tabitha Korol

It was brought to my attention that Westmount Temple Emanu-el Beth Shalom in Montreal hosted a Muslim-Awareness Interfaith Shabbat Dinner on January 25, 2019, to pay homage to the six dead and nineteen wounded from a lone attack on a Montreal mosque two years previously.  Such well-meaning, but naïve, efforts were hijacked by Muslim apologists to promote their false victimhood status to garner sympathy from others.

One might wonder why there was no outreach from Jews or Muslims for the desecration attack in March 2018 on a synagogue in Thornhill, and no homage paid for the October, 2018 massacre of eleven congregants of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, inasmuch as Canada and the US are connected in many ways.  Neither was there any form of condolence or apology offered when a small Canadian Arab newspaper, Al Saraha, published an antisemitic article that posited why Hitler killed the Jews, stated that the number of six million Jews killed during the Holocaust was severely inflated, and asserted that Jews are to blame for Germany’s economic collapse, sexuality and promiscuity.  Read more…

Foreign Ministry said to see little chance of breakthrough in Israeli-Saudi ties

This is a serious setback to the Deal of the Century.

That’s why Kushner and Greenblatt to visit region, discuss peace plan in the end of February.

Israeli TV quotes classified ministry document saying Riyadh won’t normalize ties with Jerusalem or back Trump peace plan without significant concessions to Palestinians

Saudi Arabia will not normalize ties with Israel or support the Trump administration’s peace plan without significant Israeli concessions to the Palestinians, according to a classified Foreign Ministry document reported by Israeli television Friday.

Israel in recent years has worked to improve ties with Gulf states such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, which, despite having no diplomatic relations with Jerusalem, share a common foe in Iran.

The unspoken danger of CO2: It makes people go absolutely nutty

When the inmates run the asylum, whispers of ‘climate’ explain everything

BY Solomon, NATIONAL POST

The coal-fired Plant Scherer, one of the United States’ top carbon dioxide emitters, in Juliette, Ga

Carbon dioxide, a colourless, odourless and tasteless gas, represents the most serious threat today to the citizenry of the developed world. No other substance known to man more often makes us go crazy.

“The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change” and combat CO2, Democrat firebrand Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stated two weeks ago, explaining her views and those of “millennials and Gen Z and all these folks that come after us.” A few days later the Doomsday Clock — the countdown to total nuclear annihilation established by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists during the Cold War — got wound up tighter than ever by adding CO2 to nuclear weaponry as an existential threat. “Today sets the Doomsday Clock at two minutes to midnight — the closest it has ever been to apocalypse,” the organization announced in a press release.

Islam: The West’s ‘Most Formidable and Persistent Enemy’

By Raymond Ibrahim, AMERICAN THINKER

At the height of Western dominance over Islam in the early twentieth century, the European historian Hilaire Belloc (b. 1870) made a remarkably prescient observation that may have seemed exaggerated at the time:

Millions of modern people of the white civilization — that is, the civilization of Europe and America — have forgotten all about Islam. They have never come in contact with it. They take for granted that it is decaying, and that, anyway, it is just a foreign religion which will not concern them. It is, as a fact, the most formidable and persistent enemy which our civilization has had, and may at any moment become as large a menace in the future as it has been in the past” (from Belloc’s The Great Heresies, emphasis added).

Anyone who doubts that Islam has been “the most formidable and persistent enemy which our civilization has had,” should familiarize themselves with that civilization’s long militant history vis-à-vis the West.

‘Trump was furious when he learned what UNRWA, PA were doing’

How to defeat Hamas without firing a shot  By David Bedein, INN

Cut off their funding.

The people who organize and participate in current riots on the Gaza fences, are UNRWA employees – 20,000 proud members of Hamas who control the UNRWA workers association and the UNRWA teachers association since 1999, all of whom incite for a mass invasion of Israel under the slogan of the “right of return by force of arms”.

By Hezki Baruch, INN

David Bedein, the head of the Center for Near East Policy Research, spoke to Arutz Sheva about the late Arizona Senator John McCain, who passed away on Saturday after a year-long battle with brain cancer, and of the US administration’s rejection of the so-called ‘Palestinian right of return.’

INTO THE FRAY: Unilateral concessions: The latent agenda for the April elections

By MARTIN SHERMAN

The major issue is not [attaining] an agreement, but ensuring the actual implementation of the agreement in practice. The number of agreements which the Arabs have violated is no less than number which they have kept’.

Shimon Peres, Tomorrow is Now, Jerusalem: Keter, 1978, p. 255

Almost inevitably, elections in Israel revolve—one way or another—around one issue…even when everyone insists they don’t. This is the “Palestinian problem” and its unavoidable derivative, the fate of the Jewish communities across the Green Line.

The EU: Undermining Israel under the guise of humanitarianism

Between 2012-2014, the EU financed the building of more than 400 illegal structures in Area C identified by an affixed EU flag. The EU claimed diplomatic immunity and refused to appear in court when sued for illegal construction.

By Janet Levy, INN

More than 70 years after the Holocaust, the European Union has been involved in demonizing and delegitimizing the Jewish State through actions inimical to Israel’s existence. They include indirect funding of terrorist activities, refusals to examine this misdirection of funds, assistance to build illegal Palestinian communities within Israel’s boundaries, and criticism of Israel’s attitudes towards Palestinians as “ethnic cleansing.”  These EU activities have gone on for the past 25 years, and represent a persistent undermining of the Jewish State under the guise of European humanitarianism.

Since the beginning of the Oslo process in 1992, the EU has backed the Palestinian Authority, becoming one of its main financial supporters.  Since 1993, the EU and its member states have given over four billion euros to the PA and a variety of Palestinian NGOs. Ostensibly, these funds were meant to develop democratic institutions as well as promote education and prosperity among Palestinians.  In actual practice, a substantial portion of the European funding has fueled corruption and terrorism.

Sixty-three Days of Madness

By Victor Rosenthal

Israel has dived head on into pre-election madness, with commercials on social media (TV and radio commercials are not allowed until 26 March, thank goodness), text messages, wild and not-so-wild accusations and allegations, and – until the deadline for presenting party lists in two weeks – rumors of shifting alliances between parties and factions. It is hard to believe that on 9 April this will be over.

The actual contest is between the blocs of parties representing the Left and the Right. The Left continues to chant its mantra of democracy in danger, while the Right warns of a left-wing government that will repeat the errors of Oslo and the withdrawal from Gaza. While the poll numbers of the individual parties go up and down, the totals for the competing blocs change very little.

ARGUMENT: Jared Kushner’s Peace Plan Would Turn Jordan Upside Down

T. Belman. This argument was obviously made on behalf of King Abdullah.  Yes, Abdullah would never countenance naturalizing the Palestinian refugees living in Jordan but Mudar Zahran would. Furthermore Abdullah would never invite all Palestinians to move to Jordan, but Zahran would.

I like to think that for this reason alone, Kushner would back Zahran.

If the Trump administration seeks to strip Palestinian refugees of their status, it will destabilize one of America’s closest allies in the region.

By OCTOBER 5, 2018

The Trump administration’s attempt to pressure Jordan to strip its Palestinian refugees of their status struck a nerve in the kingdom at a time of unprecedented economic and political turbulence. In presenting their ill-conceived plan to Jordanian officials, U.S. peace negotiators Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt have demonstrated a bias and ineptitude that will derail Washington’s self-proclaimed peace plan and further undermine U.S. credibility in the Middle East.

Kushner to unveil economic plan for Middle East peace: Report

BY Rachel Frazin, THE HILL

President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner will return to the Middle East and reveal part of his plan for peace, Politico reports.

Kushner will discuss the economic portion of the plan, which he has been working on for about two years.

“Jared is going to present the economic plan to the region. The economic plan only works if the region supports it,” a senior administration official told Politico on Tuesday. “We understand that if the political aspect of it is not solid, the economic aspect is meaningless. But at the same time the political aspect will not succeed without a proper economic plan.”

Kushner to provide update on US peace plan

White House senior adviser will reportedly share update about Israel-PA peace plan during Warsaw Middle East conference.

By Elad Benari, INN

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner is expected to share an update about the Trump administration’s Middle East peace plan during a public session at the Warsaw Middle East conference next Thursday, Channel 13 News ’Barak Ravid reported on Tuesday.

A White House official said Kushner will be participating in a discussion hosted by former Norwegian foreign minister Borge Brende on efforts to end the Israeli-Palestinian Arab conflict.

This would be the first time Kushner will speak publicly and answer questions about the long-awaited peace plan. Ravid noted that Kushner is not expected to give details about the parameters of the plan, but will most likely provide an update on its status and how the administration wants to reveal and launch it in the next few months after the April 9 elections in Israel.

The Israel-PA peace process has been frozen since 2014, when PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas breached conditions of talks that were ongoing at the time by unilaterally joining international treaties and conventions.

Dog-Whistles, et al

By MItzi Alvin

It is unfortunate that the group, IfNotNow, which claims to support Jewish liberal causes, is trying to portray Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib as the fair-minded, equitable representative of a Jewish liberal constituency. Setting aside her foul-mouthed description of the President, she has aligned herself with virulent anti-Semite, Louis Farrakhan, with Hezballah supporter, Abbas Hamideh, a man who praises the murder of Jewish children, and she has suggested that those in congress who support Israel (read Jews or those subject to Jewish pressure) have forgotten “what country they represent.” Considering that she celebrated her electoral victory by wrapping herself in a Palestinian flag, she has shown herself to be not only an anti-Semite, but a hypocrite of the first order.

Donald Trump’s SOTU: Shooting white-breasted ducks on a pond

By Russ Vaughn, AMERICAN THINKER

Let me preface the following praise by saying I have a tough time listening to our president.  His style of speech and mannerisms tend to drive me up the wall in spite of the fact I am in near total agreement with his political agenda and actions as president.  Tonight, my wife had to call me away repeatedly from this computer to get me to come listen to the State of the Union speech.  After the introduction of the WWII vets, I, reluctantly, and grumbling that I really didn’t want to do this, got up and went in to join Miz Poe in watching the speech.

Trump Plays Starring Role in Netanyahu’s Re-Election Bid

By tying political fortunes to the president—complete with campaign posters featuring the two—embattled Israeli premier hopes to solidify base and woo undecided voters, even as possible indictments loom

Felicia Schwartz, WSJ

TEL AVIV—Embattled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is putting President Trump at the center of his re-election campaign, aiming to leverage close ties with Washington as he faces pressure from political rivals and a possible indictment on corruption charges.By tying his political fortunes to Mr. Trump, Mr. Netanyahu isn’t only seeking to solidify his base but also to woo undecided voters at a critical juncture of Israel’s election season—and a perilous moment for his tenure as Israel’s prime minister.

Mr. Netanyahu’s Likud party has erected two large posters on the sides of buildings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, spanning several stories. They show Messrs. Trump and Netanyahu shaking hands with the campaign slogan: “Netanyahu. In Another League.”

A new housing project is underway in the settlement Naale, near Modiin

The number of people living in Israeli settlements surged at a much faster rate than the overall Israeli population last year and predicted even more rapid growth, the West Bank Jewish Population Stats group reported Tuesday.

Director Baruch Gordon said the current U.S. administration has created a much friendlier environment for the settlers, clearing the way for a surge in construction in the coming years.

As it readies peace plan, US says it sees no need to balance pro-Israel slant

White House is proudly supportive of Israel, senior official says, dismissing need for equivalency as a ‘vestige of talking points from decades ago’

By Raphael Ahren, TOI

The White House is not interested in being considered an “honest broker” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a senior US official said this week, rejecting the notion that some sort of “equivalency” between the two sides was required to successfully mediate a peace deal.

Rather, the administration is proudly supportive of Israel and does not feel the need to try to counterbalance any pro-Israel statement with some carrots for the Palestinians, or to add a line about Palestinian grievances every time it laments Israeli victims of terror attacks, according to the senior official.
