“We can declare with one voice that Iran must not be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon ever, ever and must cease training terrorists and militias immediately!’ said US President Donald Trump in a statement he issued at the Israeli president’s residence in Jerusalem on Monday on May 22, shortly after arriving in Israel.

“I come her to affirm that we are not only friends, but allies and will stand together always,” he went on to say and urged: “We must strengthen our cooperation, as we both face common threats from ISIS and other terrorists who foment terrible violence all over the world. Together we can end scores of years of violence,” he said. Trump, who flew to Israel directly from Riyadh, reported on the strong consensus he found in the Muslim world on the need to stand up together against Iran.

Shaked: ‘Political power has passed to the bureaucrats’

Justice Minister speaks at Bar Association conference: ‘Clerks conduct political agenda under guise of neutrality and professionalism.’

By Mordechai Sones, INN

Shaked at tonight's conference

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked spoke at a conference of the Israel Bar Association in Eilat this evening (Monday).

The minister began by quoting a book, saying “the legislative branch is mistakenly perceived as the most central authority and responsible for determining national priorities. I claim the public bureaucracy inherited the primacy and became the central authority with countless powers and authorities, while the legislature became irrelevant in broad areas of life in everything connected with determining policy in practice and its actual execution.

Have the parameters of a deal been agreed to already?

T. Belman. (May 23/17) I updated this post because Netanyahu’s proposal set out in it seems to be the blueprint. Abbas is now offering 6.5% of the territories which means Israel gets to keep Ariel, Maaleh Adumin and Gush Etzion. Arutz Sheva reported yesterday,

“According to the Times of Israel report, Olmert had offered to compensate the Arabs with Israeli land equivalent to 5.8 percent of Judea and Samaria, along with a link to the Gaza Strip. The rejected offer also included placing Jerusalem’s Old City under international control.

“This time however, Jerusalem, the most controversial aspect of previous discussions, is not mentioned in the proposal that Abbas is allegedly meant to discuss with Trump during his visit.”

Trump is well aware of how amenable Netanyahu is for such a deal and that thus the the gap is not huge but negotiable. There is no reason why the deal can’t allow the IDF to stay in the territories permanently.I believe that the government of Israel under PM Netanyahu would accept such a deal providing we keep Jerusalem.

T. Belman. (Feb 20/17) It is this deal in all probability, that Netanyahu and Trump want to build upon. So far we haven’t heard what is to happen with the settlements outside the blocs. Remember Bibi suggested that they remain in the Arab state and that the inhabitants can come back to Israel when they want. Remember also that Bibi told Kerry that he was prepared to these parameters in 2014 also.

In Aqaba meet last Feb. with Kerry, Sissi and King Abduallh, PM reportedly presented five-point plan to launch regional initiative aimed at reviving peace talks with Palestinians

At a secret summit with Arab leaders on a regional peace push last year, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly presented a five-point plan that included an offer to freeze construction in areas outside the settlements blocs in the West Bank.

According to a report early Monday in the Haaretz daily, which first broke the story of the meeting with then-US Secretary of State John Kerry, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and Jordan’s King Abdullah, on February 21, 2016, Netanyahu asked in exchange for the freeze that the US recognize construction and expansion within the large settlement blocs, areas which are expected to remain part of Israel in any peace agreement with the Palestinians.

The Real Constitutional Crisis is the Appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller

By Big Guy, AMERICAN THINKER

Rod Rosenstein’s appointment of Robert Mueller to investigate wholly unsupported claims of “links and/or coordination between the Russian government and … the campaign of President Donald Trump” poses the most serious threat to American constitutional government and domestic peace since the Civil War.

The only reason anyone is still talking about this subject, let alone investigating it pursuant to an order originating at the highest levels of the United States Justice Department, is that the media propaganda arm of the Democratic Party has refused to stop headlining it, despite a total lack of evidence of criminality after continuous investigation for over half a year by multiple agencies of the United States government.

Hold Russia accountable for Venezuela’s 5,000 surface-to-air missiles

This could be the end

Russia has sent strong friendship signals to the U.S., led by President Trump, and a willingness to be an important partner of the U.S. in fighting Islamist terror.  But there’s some unfinished business from an earlier era that might be worth addressing first: its sales of 5,000 MANPADS surface-to-air missiles to the crumbling, chaotic Chavista hellhole regime of Venezuela.

According to a report from Reuters:

WASHINGTON – On Sunday night, as President Donald Trump was concluding a successful two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, the White House distributed a very rare press release: a statement attributed directly, “on the record”, to Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner.

“The president asked us to plan a trip that would help unite the world against intolerance and terrorism and we have made great progress towards that goal in Saudi Arabia,” the statement said, before listing what the White House considers Trump’s main achievements during the visit – “signing a landmark defense agreement negotiated by the President, helping to launch a new center to combat extremism and securing cooperation from countries in the region to outlaw, track and stop the financing of terror.” Read more…

Russian paratroops move to Syrian border triangle

DEBKA

Military tensions on Syria’s borders with Iraq, Jordan and Syria jumped another notch Monday, May 21, on Day 2 of Donald Trump’s foreign trip, with the arrival of the first Russian ground troops in southern Syria for taking up position opposite US and coalition elite units.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that, as the US president was preparing to cap his two hectic days in the Saudi capital with a major speech on Islam, before flying to Jerusalem, a Russian contingent of paratroops and special forces arrived at Suweida. It linked up with the Syrian army, Hizballah and other pro-Iranian allies already poised to take on the US, Jordanian, British and Norwegian elite units for control of the strategic 600km long Syrian-Iraqi border and its key crossings.

Israel agrees to Arab construction in Area C

‘The gestures are not status-changing’

Diplomatic officials say the newest gestures to the PA do not harm Israel’s interests.

By Nitsan Keidar, INN

Cabinet meeting (archive)

Diplomatic officials in Israel said on Sunday evening that the series of gestures to the Palestinian Authority (PA) approved by the Cabinet are “a gesture ahead of President Trump’s visit that does not harm Israel’s interests.”

“The measures are all in the economic-civil sphere. There are no security measures,” stressed the officials.

“The measures are not status-changing,” the sources stressed. “Planning authority remains in the hands of Israel – existing construction, which in any case will not be demolished, has been approved.”

The Inside Story on How Trump Dropped the Hammer on James Comey

Millennium Report

There are very few crime/mystery novels that approach this true story for compelling drama, intrigue and brinkmanship (with the nation in the balance).

Don’t believe the fake-media story that Trump made a mistake or huge gaffe by firing Comey.

Don’t believe the media narrative from the left that it was an attempt to silence Comey from some investigation into Trump.

TRUMP’S GREAT HISTORIC SPEECH TO MUSLIM WORLD

PRESIDENT TRUMP

Image result for pRES tRUMP

I want to thank King Salman for his extraordinary words, and the magnificent Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting today’s summit. I am honored to be received by such gracious hosts. I have always heard about the splendor of your country and the kindness of your citizens, but words do not do justice to the grandeur of this remarkable place and the incredible hospitality you have shown us from the moment we arrived.

You also hosted me in the treasured home of King Abdulaziz, the founder of the Kingdom who united your great people. Working alongside another beloved leader – American President Franklin Roosevelt – King Abdulaziz began the enduring partnership between our two countries. King Salman: your father would be so proud to see that you are continuing his legacy – and just as he opened the first chapter in our partnership, today we begin a new chapter that will bring lasting benefits to our citizens.

Saudi royals signal the real magnitude of the deal they made with Trump

By Thomas Lifson, AMERICAN THINKER

President Trump’s spectacular reception in Riyadh is a signal to the world (and to Saudi subjects, in particular) that big changes are coming.  Elderly and frail King Salman ventured out onto the apron in 110-degree heat and actually shook Melania Trump’s hand as she deplaned Air Force One, thereby touching a female infidel.

Perhaps even more important in terms of Saudi daily life, the women in attendance at functions did not wear head coverings and abayas.  The entire nation saw this on television and understands that the fracking-created global oil glut changes everything, that the infidels no longer cower in fear of a cutoff of the oil Allah granted to the protectors of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.  The old arguments of the fanatics hold less water.

On Mideast Policy, the Swamp Drains Trump

BY: ROBERT SPENCER, PJ MEDIA MAY 18, 2017

Speaking Friday about President Trump’s trip to the Middle East, National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster said that Trump would:

… develop a strong, respectful message that the United States and the entire civilized world expects our Muslim allies to take a strong stance against radical Islamist ideology.

Those who are aware of how badly U.S. foreign policy has run off the rails over the last fifteen years should be deeply disturbed.

The world has been waiting in vain for that decade-and-a-half for “our Muslim allies to take a strong stance against radical Islamist ideology.” McMaster’s words were a disquieting indication that the foreign policy swamp, one in the most dire need of draining, has instead turned the tables on the president.

The anatomy of a coup

By Linda Goudsmit

We are witness to an attempted coup branded as the “resistance movement” being perpetrated by left-wing liberals led by EX-president Barack Hussein Obama and the saboteurs he left behind in the US government.

The mainstream media has colluded with the Leftists by deliberately disseminating FAKE news from UNNAMED sources and insisting it is “real” news.

Historically coups and military juntas are led by political opposition leaders and perpetrated by the army – they are bloody confrontations resulting in victory and defeat. The seated government remains or is removed by the opposition party.

CAIR ‘terrified’ jury will learn of its radical ties

‘Muslim Mafia’ asking judge to block damning evidence

Eight years ago, the Council on American-Islamic Relations sued the investigators behind a daring, undercover operation that turned up evidence confirming the organization’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and violent Islamic supremacism.

Now, as its case finally heads to trial, CAIR is trying to block the defendants from presenting that evidence and other damaging information to a jury.

Last Wednesday, a federal judge in Washington, D.C., delayed a pretrial hearing scheduled for May 15 to allow more time to address a motion by CAIR to disallow evidence it describes as “anti-Muslim bias.”

Trump’s speech to the Islamic leaders will usher in an old beginning.

By Ted Belman.

On May 18th I published Trump’s Plan to destroy radical Islam in which I showed that his policy from day one was to defeat the ideology that informed it and drove it. He was going to demand that Saudi Arabia and the other states join him in this fight.

Unfortunately, his deference to the Arabs has allowed them to pay lip service only.

First he didn’t want to upset them by moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem or recognizing that the Kotel was in Jerusalem and therefore in Israel. First he said he had to ask them for their opinion and then he decided not to visit the Kotel.
