It’s exhausting being Jewish: It’s Groundhog day every day
Warning: It will be exhausting reading this.
As a Jew, I not only worry about the hate in Canada, where I live, I worry about Israel, the Jewish homeland. How many Polish people living outside Poland worry about Poland; or Germans worry about Germany, or British worry about Britain-oh wait-they should be worried about Britain.
Peloni: In his final months, Ted repeatedly made mention of the import of the below article as well as that of “The Genesis of the Jordan Option and “Confederation with Jordan”. Of course, it was a great tragedy that the Jordan Option was passed over by Trump in his first term. So much good could have come from directly addressing the problem between the Palestinians and their Israeli neighbors which respected both the dignity of these former Jordanian citizens as well as the reality that they had been well weaponized to do what we saw come to be on October 7. Indeed, even now, the Palestinians are held as a stateless people, with no public recollection of Jordan’s true obligation to their former subjects who were cast aside in an effort to weaponize them against Israel, which took full effect with the support and funding of the international community under the guise of humanitarian aid and assistance via the terror complicit and Hamas allied UNRWA. Of course, we are no longer in Trump’s first term, but his second term, and the terrible evidence of October 7 is quite clear and too fresh to ignore, as Trump has repeatedly acknowledged is still being attempted. In his final months, Ted had every expectation of the Jordan Option becoming operational, but he succumbed to his illness before the most important project of his life could come to ground. In the aftermath of his death, it would be a fitting tribute to see the value of his efforts acknowledged with the full implementation of this project which he held so dear, with the abandonment of the Hashemites and the creation of a govt willing to deal with Israel as an ally and without the constant acts of betrayal which have been the most enduring mark of what the Hashemites are best capable of achieving. I hope to see the eventuality of the Jordan Option come to fruition in the coming months, and to finally have the two sides of the Jordan River acknowledge the historic rights and ancestral ties with which the Jews have had with these lands over the past three millennia. The Jordan Option truly is the only path by which peace might ultimately be achieve, now or ever.

While most people are patiently waiting for Pres Trump to table his Peace Plan, otherwise known as the Deal of the Century, I have been preparing a Memo to Kushner in which I challenge two points covered in Did Liberman reveal Trump’s peace plan? Yes.
1. Don’t recommend that Gaza become sovereign Palestinian territory. Instead, propose that Gaza be treated as another Area A leaving it to Israel to work together with Egypt and Jordan to find a solution.
Peloni: A very important article, which gives a good assessment of Trump’s Gulf Tour. Ignoring the attack on the values and interests which made America into the strong and vibrant society which led the West to defeat the twin threats of Nazism and Communism, will only cede a similar victory as Trump’s Gulf allies march forward in their quest of establishing a world dominating caliphate. Trump has the power of his office, and the influence of a presidential bully pulpit, the power of which is likely never been present in US history before, and from this position of power and influence he has demonstrated a specific lack of clarity of the threat emanating from these very same gulf nations with whom he has come to be so tightly associated. Rather than praising these nations, he should be openly challenging there attempts to corrupt, divide and re-imagine American values as well as blocking the encroaching efforts to promote the establishment of an Islamist caliphate.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) last month took a potentially giant step in the effort to combat the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas by asserting that UNRWA, unlike other UN agencies, is not immune from U.S. criminal and civil law. The decision may not just open the door for victims of October 7 to sue UNRWA for damages, it may enable the Treasury Department to impose terrorism sanctions and shut down a significant terror-financing threat.
Peloni: These proposals/projects represent very important changes, with significant implications for a post-Oslo future.
The two-state paradigm, once widely endorsed, is increasingly viewed as untenable given the persistent threats and failures of past negotiations.

For decades, Israel has navigated the tension between the aspiration to restore full sovereignty for Jews in their ancestral homeland and the persistent international pressure to partition the land to carve out yet another failed terror state. Recent developments suggest a decisive shift in this dynamic.
Peloni: Since Trump came to office, he has been focused upon the strategy of isolating and confronting Iran. From this isolated perspective, tightening the ties between the Gulf allies and the US was a strategically adept move as it promoted Trump’s domestic economic agenda while also advantaging his Great Game geopolitical contest with China. The cost of gaining this leverage in the geopolitical struggle with China, however, was to promote a terror slave state such as Qatar as being good people on the world stage, even as they are clearly responsible for the supporting Iran’s war against Israel, funding Hamas’ attack on October 7, and sponsoring the pro-Hamas teaching and pro-Hamas riots on US campuses. So too, the linkage of US support for Saudi weaponry and nuclear program with SA joining the Abraham Accords was another opportunity cost of Trump’s Arabian Gulf gambit challenging China. While these Gulf states will maintain a balancing position between the US and China, the economic largess which they advanced to the US in the resulting deals of Trump’s Gulf Tour will leave them less able to economically partner with China, providing at least this much support for isolating China from these regional actors. The consequences of lying down with dogs will of course not be easily or quickly shed, and it completely contrasts with Trump’s first term objectives of isolating and eliminating state sponsors of terror, as he is now readily connecting, trading and promoting them.

A very concerning thought given a great deal of substantive support with the recent announcement of The Stargate Project by Pres. Trump on his very first day of his second term. Accountability for the Covid scam would not only apply a remedy for the harms associated with the deployment of the harmful practices associated with Operation Warp Speed, but to also act as a deterrent for such harmful practices being deployed again in the future. Daylight is the best disinfectant, and yet the darkness surrounding Operation Warp Speed persists, and not a single charge has been brought against a single individual, anywhere.

While the Jordan Option has been discussed for 40 years now, it has not gotten any traction in its original form. It posited that Jordan was Palestine and aspired to co-opt the Hashemites to embrace this concept.
But the Hashemite Kingdom wanted no part in it. It wanted to keep Jordanians separate from Palestinians. The Palestinians represented a threat to their Kingdom. Thus it advocated for the creation of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River.

My good friend, Bill, just alerted me to breaking news regarding the Kurdish freedom fighting group, the PKK in Turkey, which only resorted to armed conflict because of the Turks’s cultural genocide (tortures, jailings, and massacres as well) against their people in which the Kurdish language was outlawed along with other elements defining their very individual identity. The Turks renamed the 23 million of 40 million total Kurds in Anatolia “Mountain Turks” instead…

Axios obtained the audio of former President Biden’s October 2023 interviews with special counsel Robert Hur. In the first segment below, recorded on the first day of interviews, former President Biden was questioned about where he kept documents. Biden had difficulty recalling that it was 2015 when his son Beau died. Biden also shared that President Obama discouraged him from running for president.
The interview tapes reveal the scope of cognitive decline the control agents around Joe Biden were trying to keep hidden from the country. As the tapes reveal, Joe Biden was not in any capacity to be in office. The question remains, who was running the country? Listen:
Peloni: This plan is highly problematic. Libya’s civil war which broke out in the wake of the NATO war to eliminate Gaddafi, is still not resolved, with fighting being reported to have broken out most recently in the past few days. With Haftar’s LNA controlling about two thirds of the country, including Benghazi, and the GNU holding only about a third of the country, the influx of a million Gazans would significantly impact the balance of power in Libya, most notably to the likely benefit of the GNU which is backed by both Qatar and Turkey. Note that while Libya has a population of about 11 million, only a portion of this number is allied with the GNU, which would make the influx of one million Gazans into that country all the more significant. In other words, if the GNU represented 6-7 million Libyans, the massive influx of a million Gazans would lead to them, as a group, representing a significant portion of the population of the GNU supporters. Relevantly, Egypt has a population of some 118 million people, but the Sisi govt fears the radicalizing repercussions of the influx of just one million Gazans into this number, and yet, it is being contemplated that these Gazans should be sent to Libya where they will be a million out of less the 10million supporters of the GNU.
Janet Levy: The terrorist slave state of Qatar has spent $100 billion to influence members of Congress, to indoctrinate students from K-12 to university level, to buy favorable coverage at U.S. newsrooms, and to sway think tanks and corporations. It has also invested $225 million for lobbying and PR in Washington, D.C., and $8 BILLION on Al Udeid Air Base in the Doha area – the largest U.S. base in the region. Qatar spends far more on influence peddling in the U.S. capital than any other country – 2/3rds more than Communist China!
“Conservative” Newsmax received $50 million from Al Thani in 2019. Common Sense Media Holdings was the recipient of $180,000.
