Deception 12: The Occupation Deception.

Peloni:  Here is the 12th and final installment of Joseph Shellim’s 12 Deceptions, an excerpt from his important work, Philistine-To-Palestine.  We have been posting one Deception each week, and  links to the previous installments can be found at the bottom.

Joseph Shellim

Greatest Deception of All.
Although Israel was invaded throughout her history and her people exiled numerously, never before  was the ownership of the Jews’ homeland disputed by any invading forces. Never before was the  charge of “Disputed Territory” ever raised by the nations that battled with the Jews 3,000 years.

The charge of illegal or questioned land occupation made on the Jewish state is a modern world  phenomenon of the 20th Century. It is antithetical of history, both ancient and modern. That the Jew’s  most sacred land portion is deemed as ‘Occupied Territory’, after its ancient name changed to West  Bank, illegally, is perhaps the clearest form of all in measuring the occupation charge. Thereby, the  examination of how, when and why the charge of occupation arose aligns with the premise of the  greatest deception of all.

Israel is in the forefront of a phenomenon impacting on many of the Middle East’s most ancient period  inhabitants, many pre-dating the Arabs, with signs and omens such is not limited to one region or  people.

Escalation for thee, but not for me

By Walter E. Block

The Biden-Harris Administration has a goal for Israel: at all costs, avoid escalation. And when they say all costs, they mean exactly that: all costs. These costs include, even, the eventual total destruction of that country, Israel, itself.  Hey, it is not their nation. They have proven, over and over again, that the prosperity, even the very survival of the Jewish state, is not one of their prime objectives.

To this end they have often urged, nay, threatened, that unless the Jewish state agrees to a pause with its enemies, to a cease fire, to a truce, to a treaty, there will be an end to US transfers of needed, and contracted for, military supplies.

In behalf of this goal there has been recent but constant shuttle diplomacy on the part of the United States, conducted by officers such as Antony Blinken. He and his colleagues have engaged in Monday morning quarterbacking with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his staff in order to promote this vision of theirs: avoid escalation at all costs, even if it severely weakens the only civilized country in the Middle East.

‘We Can Always Look for Other Ways’: Key Iranian Supply Line to Hezbollah Broken After Assad Ouster

FDD | Dec 15, 2024

Latest Developments

• Iran’s Route through Syria Severed: Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem said in a public address that Hezbollah’s critical supply line – running from Iran through Iraq and Syria into Lebanon – no longer exists following the overthrow of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by Islamist rebels on December 8. Qassem’s admission marks the first time that the Iranian proxy and U.S.-designated terrorist organization has commented publicly on the ramifications of Assad’s fall from power.

• Syria Helped Connect Iran to Hezbollah: For years, the Islamic Republic has directly shipped weapons across Iraq and Syria into Lebanon to facilitate Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel. Hezbollah’s Unit 4400 has historically been tasked with establishing these smuggling routes through Syria, which the IDF have targeted with airstrikes in recent months.

Meet an Arab-American Zionist Congressman

Not unlike Democrat Ritchie Torres, another young outspoken pro-Israel congressman, Hamadeh took a trip to Israel which changed his life. Op-ed.

Rep. Hamadeh    Website

The United States is in deep trouble and it is not just the Jewish community that is facing a challenge from the jihadis and those devoted to destroying the American way of life. Jews and non-Jews must rise up and fight back in many different ways for the West to win this battle.

Israel’s Biggest Enemy: How Netanyahu Is Thanked for Disabling Iran, Terrorist Groups?

by Bassam Tawil  • Gatestone Institute • December 15, 2024

Some might view the judicial escapade against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in cases of trumped-up charges, as political payback for the prime minister’s having tried to reform the judicial system after he was last re-elected in 2022. The judicial reforms are desperately needed. Do these judges actually want Israel to lose the war just so they can keep their absolute power? October 7 Supporters Sponsor Times Square Billboard

By Moshe Phillips | Dec 13, 2024

An American Muslim group that supported the October 7 slaughter of Israelis has launched an advertising campaign to demonstrate that Islam “promotes peace and the sanctity of life.” Talk about chutzpah!

This latest burst of hypocrisy comes courtesy of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a group whose declared mission is to “establish a place for Islam in North America.”

The ICNA wants to convince the American public that Islam is inherently peaceful. To that end, the ICNA’s “GainPeace” project is currently investing $30,000 in a massive digital billboard advertisement in Times Square to “spotlight Islam’s core values of peace, unity and the sanctity of life,” according to a press release from the group.

Disaster Caused by Medical Journal Censorship

Peloni:  The Covid fraud could never have been possible if not supported by the efforts of censorship from multiple aspect of society.  Most notorious and effective of these censorship avenues was employed to support and validate scientific research which promoted old “safe and effective” while silencing the results of any research critical of this establishment sponsored narrative.  Hence, what became a ready control mechanism over defining Right Speech within the medical journals built a construct of corruption promoting dangerous treatments in place of clearly safer alternatives.

| Brownstone Institute | December 14, 2024

In this post, I want to further the historical record of massive censoring actions by medical journals on the unprecedented adverse vaccine data of the Covid vaccines. A Midwestern doctor, my colleague and friend, has done a masterful job of detailing that history in regard to smallpox, polio, HPV, and many other aspects of childhood vaccines. Never forget the Cutter incident, where officials covered up the fact they were distributing contaminated and deadly polio vaccines:

MUST WATCH: The Real Story Behind the USS Liberty Attack

Peloni:  The latest installment of Candace Owen’s Jew Hatred has taken the form of raising the specter of a plot by the Israeli govt to puposefully and knowingly attack an American spy ship caught surreptitiously surveiling the theater war during the Six Day War.  Of course, the work of Judge Jay. A. Cristol and an extensive article by Amb. Michael B. Oren demonstrate the true context of both the Israeli & American mishaps which brought about the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty.  Notably, as described by Amb. Oren, there exists a long list of parties who should know better and yet still suggest that the mishap of friendly fire was actually intentional when the facts clearly indicate otherwise. Jim Holt’s promotion of Owen’s latest diatribe against Israel would seem to add him to this list.

@JewsAreTheGOAT  tweeted the following:

MUST WATCH: The Real Story Behind the USS Liberty Attack

Antisemites often exploit this incident as a conspiracy theory, claiming that Israel deliberately attacked an American ship. This video uncovers the true story behind what happened. Key points discussed include:

Is it a Ceasefire if the Fire Doesn’t Cease?

By

The Biden ceasefire in Lebanon fell apart in four days, but officially it’s holding. In what seems like a Seinfeld routine come to life, administration officials and their media allies are propping up the dead ceasefire by arguing that you can have a ceasefire even if the fire doesn’t cease.

Israel’s Justice Minister Yariv Levin calls for renewal of Judicial Reforms in latest disagreement with High Court

Peloni:  As I stated before the Judicial Reform was abandoned in 2023, it will pass by this govt or it will be passed by another.  The need for this legislation is both substantive and obvious, which is why it was a major theme in the last election cycle, and if it is not passed by this govt, it will likely become an even greater theme in the next election cycle.  The damage being committed by the Juristocracy ruling the country, particularly in light of October 7, will all by itself sustain the reality that the need of Judicial Reform is existential and not merely political.

Analysis: Don’t bet on the Lebanese Army to restrain Hezbollah

Peloni:  The Lebanese lack agency as they lack any independence from their Iranian task masters in Tehran.  Iranian control of that captured nation will remain fixed til either some outside force frees them from the Shia control domination, something which is not likely to ever take place, or til the Mullahs controlling Lebanon as its vassal state are overthrown in Iran.  Hence, while the time to free Lebanon is at hand, it would require decisive action to take place in Iran, not in Lebanon.

By David Daoud | December 10, 2024

The Assad regime has fallen. Meanwhile, the dreaded Third Lebanon War, during which Israel gave Hezbollah an unprecedented drubbing, is either over or in a ceasefire-induced lull. But the Iranian-backed organization has neither been conclusively defeated nor is it past the point of regeneration. Recognizing this situation, the ceasefire deal’s drafter, US envoy Amos Hochstein, included safeguards ostensibly meant to prevent Hezbollah’s regeneration—to ensure, in his words, this would be the final Hezbollah-Israel war. However, Hochstein made a critical mistake, one that will likely prove fatal to his anticipated objectives: much like UN Security Council Resolution 1701, the latest agreement made action by the Lebanese government and Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) against Hezbollah the cornerstone of the ceasefire.

Mudar Zahran: Abdullah Begged Assad to Stay in Damascus

Mudar Zahran tweeted the following:

Our high-level sources…
Ali Baba, the “King” of Jordan, contacted Bashar al-Assad before his escape and begged him to stay in Damascus.

On the day of his escape from Damascus, Ali Baba called Assad by phone, trying to convince him to stay. He offered him the option to “hide secretly in Jordan on the condition that he doesn’t announce that his regime has fallen.”

Ali Baba told Assad to “not rush” and tried to reassure him that “a Gulf state will spend billions in bribes to Western politicians to keep Bashar in power.” However, Bashar was not convinced and confirmed to him that “everything is over” and that “Iran betrayed me and betrayed you as well.”

Scoop: Trump’s envoy meets Saudi Crown Prince MBS

Barak Ravid | Axios | Dec 13, 2024

President-elect Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff visited Saudi Arabia on Wednesday and met Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS), two sources with knowledge of the meeting told Axios.

Why it matters: It was the first meeting between MBS and a member of the incoming Trump administration since the November elections.

  • Trump appointed Witkoff, his best friend and one of his closest confidants, as his administration’s Middle East envoy with the clear aim of sealing a mega-deal with Saudi Arabia — a process that started during the Biden administration.
  • Trump wants the deal to include a historic peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia and at least some progress toward ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, sources with knowledge of Trump’s thinking said.
  • “I want a long lasting peace. I’m not saying that’s a very likely scenario … I want a peace where we don’t have an October 7 in another three years. I’d like to see everybody be happy,” Trump told Time magazine earlier this week.

Russia Negotiating With New Syrian Government to Keep Military Bases

FDD | Dec 13, 2024

Latest Developments

• Russia Negotiates To Keep Bases: Officials from Russia and representatives of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) — the Syrian rebel group that overthrew Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad last week — are conducting direct negotiations over whether Moscow can retain control over its two military bases in Syria, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said during a press conference on December 12. Bogdanov said that negotiations were “proceeding in a constructive fashion,” urging HTS to keep its promise to “guard against all excesses” during its takeover.

• No Decisions Yet: Following its military intervention in the Syrian civil war in 2015, Russia had been Assad’s key ally in combating rebel groups such as HTS, maintaining a naval logistics facility in Tartus and an air base in Khmeimim — both located in western Syria near the Mediterranean coast. Bogdanov cautioned that no decisions have been made yet, and Syrian official Mohammed Sabra said that a public referendum will decide any foreign presence in Syria. The Financial Times reported on December 13 that satellite images of Khmeimim air base showed the “arrival of several large transport aircraft and the disassembly of Russian helicopters and air defenses — all factors consistent with forces gathering there to depart.”

Congressional Committee Condemns (Nearly) Every Feature Of The Covid Response – OpEd

Peloni:  A just accounting for the crimes committed on behalf of deploying this fraud on the world must not be left unsatisfied.  The extent and tragic loss of life, liberty and property which came as a consequence to the policies pursued against reason, science, and reality was seismic in it effect and encompassing in its reach.  What is more is that those people who were left shattered by the covid responses, both physically and financially, must be granted what assistance is needed and possible.  The fact that this was not a feature of the recent US election is quite concerning, but hopefully this fact will not prevent the policy change needed to address these victims of societal corruption which is both vast and persistent.

Congressional Committee Condemns (Nearly) Every Feature Of The Covid Response – OpEd

By | December 9, 2024

Are there words in the English language that fully describe what happened during the Covid years that are not already overused? Calamity comes to mind. Disaster. Cataclysm. Ruin, devastation, catastrophe, unprecedented debacle, fiasco, and utter wreckage – all fine words and phrases but nothing quite captures it.

Given that, there is probably no report on the thing that can properly characterize the whole of it. On the other hand, it’s worth trying.

Meanwhile, the results of Covid commissions of governments around the world have become unbearably predictable. So far they have mostly said their government failed because they didn’t act fast enough, did not enforce lockdowns hard enough, did not communicate and coordinate well enough, and so on.

A proactive Israel must seize the day

The left’s dangerous plans ignore a critical truth about the Middle East: things change rapidly, and no peace agreement can be relied upon. Only the strong survive in this neighborhood. Opinion.

IDF in Syria   IDF Spokesperson

Israel stands strong today because of the courage and determination of those who protested in the streets to protect our future. Decades ago, in the early 1990s, the political left, led by Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and supported by senior IDF and intelligence officials, sought to make a peace agreement with the Assad regime in Syria. Part of that plan involved surrendering the Golan Heights—a strategic gem overlooking all of Israel—to Syrian control.

The F-35 Won’t Be Cancelled Anytime Soon

Stephen Bryen | Weapons & Strategy Dec 13, 2024

Rezonans-NE Radar

National security advisors to incoming President Donald Trump are considering decapitating Iran’s nuclear program in a bombing campaign. They would not be thinking this way had not Israel been remarkably successful in wiping out Iran’s air defenses. The star of the show was the F-35. Interest in the Trump camp, with Elon Musk one of the strongest voices, to replace the F-35 with drones, just took a body blow thanks to Israel.
