High Court freezes firing of Shin Bet chief Bar until April 20, calls both sides to reach compromise
Peloni: Rather than trying to avoid a constitutional crisis, the High Court created one. Interceding in not only the govt’s ability to replace one of its most sensitive appointment, in its ruling the High Court presumes further authority to even dictate how the govt should perform as it requires that there should be no change in the conduct of the govt with regards to the Shin Bet Chief. This is what a constitutional crisis looks like.

After a raucous hearing on Tuesday, which eventually had to be moved to a closed-door session, the Israeli High Court of Justice issued an interim order freezing the government’s controversial dismissal of Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar.
‘The Stefanik Doctrine’: A stronger stand against antisemitism
One would be greatly mistaken to think that she will pause in her efforts to combat Jew-haters and anti-Israel terrorists.

The announcement by President Donald Trump in late March that Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) would not be the next ambassador to the United Nations was disappointing to many Israel supporters. Since the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the congresswoman has emerged as a leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, both in the fight against antisemitism and in support of Israel, perhaps becoming the most visible leader in those battles.

A remarkable Israeli scientific breakthrough could reshape the future of computing and communication. Researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science have developed a pioneering technique that allows them to manipulate and track changes in materials at attosecond speeds so fast, light itself travels less than the width of a hydrogen atom in that time.
Caroline Glick Responds To Tucker Calson Claim Enemies of Iran are Enemies of US
Peloni: Contrary to the notion that enemies of Iran are enemies of the US, the reality is that those who would advocate for the preservation and realization of a nuclear Iran are in fact, themselves, the greatest enemies of the US. Carlson and his ilk must come to grips with the fact, and it is a fact, that Iran does not hate the US because of Israel, rather, they hate the US because the US irreconcilably represents everything Iran hopes to eradicate from the world. Ignoring this fact will not change the threat which Iran poses to the US, it will only serve to bring the destruction of the West as envisioned by Iran into reality. Sponsoring such an end such as this, rather than those who would oppose such an outcome, would actually represent the actions of a true enemy of the US.
Tucker Carlson, we in Israel have great respect for American patriots, and certainly count your audience among them.
I want to remind you that Israel has never, and will never ask for American boots on the ground.

Summary: This study provides a nuanced understanding of West Bank middle and secondary school students’ perceptions of Hamas and the Gaza war following the October 7 attacks. Several key findings stand out:
‘They Are Sitting Inside a Glass Room’: Citing U.S. Threats, Iran Puts Army on High Alert
Iranian Army Day Parade, 2018. By Fars Media Corporation, CC BY 4.0- Iran Fears U.S. Strikes: Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei placed his country’s military on its highest alert level, fearing potential strikes by the United States, according to an Iranian official cited by Reuters on April 6. The move comes after President Donald Trump said on March 30 that if Iran does not reach a deal with the United States over its nuclear weapons program, he will issue secondary tariffs alongside “bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.” Iran has also reportedly sent a notice to the region’s U.S.-allied states — including Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, and Bahrain — that a U.S. attack using their territory or air space would be considered a hostile action.
Trump lauds ‘very smart’ Erdogan for ‘taking over’ Syria, says he’ll fix Israel’s ‘problem’ with Turkey
Janet Levy: Trump is so misguided and uninformed about Turkey’s interference in Syria!
He “admires” Erdogan and thinks he can mediate the situation between Jerusalem and Ankara even though the Turkish leader recently called for the destruction of Israel in a Ramadan prayer.
Doesn’t Trump realize that Erdogan wants to establish a caliphate under shariah?
Recall that the Ottoman Turks perpetrated the largest Christian genocide in history!
Some history on Erdogan:
In 2007 on Turkish television, Erdogan admonished Westerners’ use of the term “moderate Islam,” by declaring, “These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”
Since 2002, the Turkish government has been pursuing a version of Islam closely aligned with the Wahhabi extremist Islam of the Saudis.
While Major of Istanbul, Erdogan avowed, “Thank God Almighty, I am a servant of the Shariah.”His AKP party is closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood whose former spiritual leader — the late Yusuf al-Qaradawi — called for Islamic domination of Europe.
Trump must be disabused of his dangerous view of Turkey as a potential partner in ANY endeavor!
Will Iranian-backed militias in Iraq disarm over fear of Trump?
The militias suffered a setback when the Assad regime fell in Syria. There is now pressure on them to disarm or become more regularized within the Iraqi state.

A report from Reuters on April 7 indicates that the Iranian-backed militias in Iraq could disarm due to their fear of the Trump administration. This is a significant development. However, it is crucial to examine this issue more closely to fully understand it.
Passover 5785: More Good News From Mt. Sinai
by Gerald A. Honigman
No, the additional news isn’t that the Five extra Commandments from Mel Brooks’s “History of the World, Part I” have been discovered, but contemplate the implications of this current new story about Mt. Sinai if it creates a new precedent:

Moving on, given the constant attacks waged by millions of non-Arabs and non-Muslims (by just the usual age-old antisemites in the Christian West) in addition to those launched by Arabs and Muslims themselves, it’s very important to see what a renowned Islamic Scholar has to say about this upsurge in antisemitism is all about. Here’s Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi :

Someone here doesn’t want to win
Peloni: Victory can only be won if it is pursued.
IDF captures territory and then evacuates it only to recapture it again. The war fluctuates between periods of high intensity and low-grade conflict, interspersed with ceasefires, only to repeat the cycle. What’s the excuse now?

The IDF has been fighting Hamas in the Gaza Strip for 15 months, but it remains far from defeating the enemy. It seems that the picture of victory grows more distant as we continue to trudge along without purpose and without a goal.
The Sovereignty Seder: Reclaiming God’s Biblical Land Promise This Passover

Passover Seder plate. By Noamfurer – Own work, CC0
The firstborn of Egypt lay dead while Israelite families huddled behind blood-stained doorposts, eating hurriedly with sandals on their feet, staffs in hand. Within hours, they would be on their way to freedom. Within days, Pharaoh’s army would pursue them to the edge of a sea that impossibly split before their eyes. But here’s what many miss: God wasn’t just delivering Israel FROM something – He was delivering them TO something. The same God who orchestrated this dramatic liberation explicitly promised them a specific land with clearly defined borders – including what we now call Judea and Samaria. This Passover, as Jewish families worldwide retell this ancient story, a revolutionary question emerges: What if your Seder table became a declaration of sovereignty?
Thirty Years Ago Israel Deported Hamas. The World Made Israel Take It Back
Daniel Greenfield | April 6, 2025

“Deporting The Hope For Peace?” Newsweek asked. The hope for peace was Hamas.
The year was 1992. The Clinton administration was trying to get Israeli Prime Minister Rabin to sign on the dotted line of the peace process to create a’ ‘Palestinian’ state, but Hamas terrorists wouldn’t stop killing Israelis.
Paradox: The anti-Qatar protests on US campuses
Janet Levy: In its 2014 report, the International Trade Union Confederation estimated that there were 2.4 million enslaved workers in the Gulf countries with Qatar being the worst offender. The State Department has issued similar reports.
Why then is Qatar given the honorific of Major Non-NATO ally (MNNA)?
Why do we have our largest military installation in the Middle East – Al Udeid Air Base – in Qatar?
Why does a country in which 94% of the work force consists of slaves merit MNNA status by the United States of America, especially since race is supposed to matter so much?
Why did Trump’s Middle East envoy, court Jew Steven Witkoff, who admires Qatar and al-Thani, secure the “help” of Qatar to broker a “ceasefire” deal between Israel and Hamas, as if an Islamic terrorist group was a legitimate negotiating partner?
How could Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, Lee Zeldin, Susie Wiles and other government officials work for the Qataris?
Professor Franciso Gil-White, who I had the privilege of meeting in Los Angeles, explains the situation (May 2024) in the essay below. You may remember that Gil-White, a Christian, is the principled individual who was fired by the University of Pennsylvania for supporting Israel. He is a champion fighter against antisemitism and recognizes that Jew hatred hurts EVERYONE!

Gaza’s ancient and modern Jewish History
Peloni: Gaza is Jewish land, which has been made following many centuries of conquest and more recent acts of betrayal. None the less, Gaza remains Jewish Land.
“Not a strange land have we conquered, and not over the possessions of strangers have we ruled, but of the inheritance of our Fathers that was in the hands of the enemy and conquered by them unlawfully. And as for us, when we had the chance, we returned to ourselves the inheritance of our Fathers.”
By Victor Sharpe | April, 2025
Mosaic from the ancient synagogue in Gaza by Dr. Avishai Teicher
The almost four-thousand-year-old association of Jewish life in Gaza is little remembered in today’s world. Of course, people kow of the Biblical story of Samson being blinded by the now extinct Philistines and how he brought down the temple to their gods in Gaza. But very few non-Jews have any idea of the rich Jewish history in the following millennia.
The Supreme Court affirms Justice Boasberg lacked jurisdiction over Trump’s deportation decision under the Alien Enemies Act
Peloni: This is an important article, disclosing an important caveat in SCOTUS’ ruling. SCOTUS failed to limit the power of the courts, keeping the door open for lower courts to block Trump’s action under the Aliens Enemies Act, while limiting it to the jurisdiction of the relative courts.

Today was a sort of good day for Donald Trump at the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court stayed U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis’s insistence that Trump immediately return to America Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien and MS-13 gang member, who is now in an El Salvadoran prison. That was a non-substantive ruling and the substantive issues will have to be addressed once the matter goes back to Xinis. The seemingly big win was the Court’s saying that U.S. District Court James Boasberg lacked jurisdiction to override Trump’s decision to deport 250 Tren de Aragua gang members. I maintain, though, that this was a Pyrrhic victory. Read more…
Trump tells Netanyahu US starting direct, ‘high level’ nuclear talks with Iran — but no new tariff or hostage deal announced yet
Peloni: No imminent strike on Iran, no drop in the tariff on Israel, and no hostages released. How many ways can we spell disappointment. In fact, it seems that this meeting was called by Trump to shore up support for his talks with Iran, but the reality is that this is how the Iranian hudna has been pursued with Iran for decades. They are vulnerable, but they will only truly respond when forced to do so. Indeed, hudna vs victory should be an easy choice for an administration which calls for peace thru strength. Hopefully the talks will soon be abbreviated as the shadow of a fleet of B-2’s drop their payload on the ultimate terror lords in the Middle East.

FBI Promotes Key FBI Official In J6 Investigations, Sparks Online Backlash
Peloni: What does the promotion of a key promoter of the J6 libel have to do with reforming the FBI? Institutional baddies such as Jensen should be among the first to be frog marched from the premises, if not handed over to his replacements to be interrogated for his part in the most outrageous political show trial in US history.
