Israel is set to agree to a ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon, with the cabinet planning to meet on Tuesday to formally approve the agreement despite the protests of northern leaders and several coalition members, according to several reports by Israeli media.

Peloni:  This is very good.  Mike and Gadi discuss Netanyahu’s recent statement accusing the Intelligence Community with withholding significant intelligence from him which is relevant to him running the war, while also weaponizing selective investigations of leaks to target his govt.  Also, Mike admits to having been now  convinced that Gadi’s prior conclusion which mirror that contained in Netanyahu’s speech were accurately described.

Peloni:  Here is the problem with transitioning to a Trump presidency: Trump and the Deep State hold mutually exclusive positions on where the power lies in the US, ie the political vs the bureaucratic elements of the govt.  Should the Deep State accept Trump’s victory and transition to his position establishing the political elements of the US govt as being supreme, they are essentially surrendering their authority to him…and of course, they are not willing to do so.  While some areas are being reconciled with appointments which are more closely aligned with the Deep State, eg Rubio, there can be no reconciling of the medical bureaucracy with the appointment of RFK who intends to deny both them them and Big Pharma of their hold on power…and so the negotiations about neutering the corruption in the medical bureaucracy continues while the transitioning activities with regards to RFK are not.

At this point in the transition of power, I am appalled at many of Trump’s choices for his second term.  Yet, the conservative pundits and talking heads are lauding Trump’s choices from Tulsi Gabbard and Kristi Noem to Mike Waltz and Pam Bondi. Telling the truth at this point would put a damper on the massive victory.

On Nov. 15, sounding nothing like the racist threat to democracy that many of those who oppose him fear, President-elect Donald Trump announced measures “to defeat antisemitism and defend our Jewish citizens in America.” The former and soon-to-be president aims to act expeditiously. “My first week back in the Oval Office my administration will inform every college president that if you do not end antisemitic propaganda, they will lose their accreditation and federal taxpayer support,” he stated. “I will inform every educational institution in our land that if they permit violence, harassment, or threats against Jewish students, the schools will be held accountable for violations of the civil rights laws.” Trump emphasized that “Jewish Americans must have equal protection under the law.” And he promised that “[m]y administration will move swiftly to restore safety for Jewish students and Jewish people on American streets.”

In Don Lemon’s edgy interview with Elon Musk that ended his talk-show deal with X, Lemon baits the billionaire entrepreneur, asking: “Do you believe women and minority pilots are inherently less intelligent and less skilled than white male pilots?”

Without blinking, Musk hits home with: “No. I’m just saying we should not lower the standards for them.”

When Lemon pursues the point, claiming no evidence of standards being lowered, Musk retorts that there is cited evidence of “significant cases where standards are lowered.”

The demonstrators, secure in the certainty of their own righteousness even as they sowed chaos and destruction in the once-charming Canadian city, burned Benjamin Netanyahu in effigy and threw what Fox News described as “small explosive devices and metal items” at police. Peloni:  As Trudeau enjoys a Taylor Swift concert, the streets of Montreal were awash in street violence being perpetrated by Hamas hooligans, and the followup to what is an obvious resemblance to Nero’s musical interests amid Rome’s burning, Ezra Levant is arrested due to his reporting on Hamas terror supporter protesting on the streets of a Jewish neighborhood.  Such obvious & outrageous misapplication of law enforcement is an extension of the loss of interest in equitable application of the law.  In lands where street violence is used to threaten the populace, honest journalism is a criminal offense.  And of course, this fact is not isolated to the Great White North alone, as the Radical Left’s alliance with the international terrorism has made its mark on the streets of America and Europe as well.  It is time to see an end to such thing…well past time actually.

Peloni:  When and if Hezbollah is finally eliminated, what is the likelihood that the power structure in Lebanon which is dominated by the Iranian backed Shia will be permanently broken?  I would suggest that the odds are quite low, unless one of two factors are achieved:

1. The Mullah’s regime is toppled
2. Israel maintains unfettered access to act against Iran’s arms shipments into Lebanon

Should any resolution of the situation in Lebanon fail to include either of these stipulations, the rise of Hezbollah or Hezbollah 2.0 will be inevitable.  Which is why the Lebanese have not, and are not likely to, take any role in rooting out their Iranian taskmasters.

Peloni:  The desperation of the relative Deep States in America and Israel to not have an empowered Trump ruling in Washington while having an empowered Netanyahu ruling in Jerusalem is both revealing and immense.

The reelection of Donald Trump has sent ripples across terror-supporting and anti-Israel regimes.
