Mandatory Reading: The Jerusalem Mufti al-Husseini, the father of the ‘Palestinian’ ideology, personally acted for the murder of hundreds of thousands (not to say: millions) of Jews in the Holocaust.
The Left does everything to hide this, but this is the simple truth: Haj Amin al-Husseini, the father of the murderous ‘Palestinian’ ideology – was a senior Nazi and a full partner in the German killing machine, with all that this implies.
Al-Husseini, a Middle Eastern man whose residence during three long years of the Holocaust was specifically in Berlin, was a senior Nazi not metaphorically – but at the most practical level imaginable. This was evident across the entire front –
From the crematoria plan he prepared for the Jews of the land, through his direct actions in the killing of hundreds of thousands of Jews, the recruitment of tens of thousands of Muslims into the Nazi SS, and up to incitement and international dissemination of Nazi propaganda – including clear and sharp calls for the murder of Jews wherever they are, and so on.
His Nazi position was two-sided, as the Nazis, on their part, provided him with significant financial and political assistance for his activities. This is not a one-time event, but a strategic collaboration from the day Hitler came to power onward, a collaboration that included espionage and war plots on his part against Britain (and France), which could have contributed to the Nazi war effort. He was their ally and confidant of Himmler, Ribbentrop, Eichmann, and many others.
Also known is the testimony in Nuremberg of Dieter Wisliceny, Eichmann’s right-hand man, who said: “In my opinion, the Mufti who resided in Berlin since 1941 played a role in the decision of the German government to exterminate the Jews of Europe, a role whose importance cannot be underestimated” (without entering now into the public debate about Wisliceny’s statements).
Moreover: although Nazi racial theory usually disparaged Arabs, nevertheless, to elevate Haj Amin al-Husseini’s standing and as a token of appreciation for his cooperation with the Nazi regime – he was awarded the status of “Honorary Aryan”(!).
Due to the importance of the matter, not only in historical perspective but mainly because of its contemporary implications on the root of the Israeli-Palestinian “conflict,” I will detail here the main aspects of his Nazi actions and connections along a timeline. Long, but extremely critical, for our future and the future of the people and land of Israel:
-
1933: Two months after Hitler’s rise to power, he was the first to greet the new German consul, asked him that Germany declare a boycott on the Jews, and began leading pro-Nazi propaganda in his newspaper.
-
1934: Wilhelm Frick, one of the senior members of the Nazi party, visits the land and grants the Mufti no less than 120,000 pounds, for the purpose of spreading Nazi propaganda.
-
1935: The Mufti’s first significant operation – after receiving millions of dollars’ worth of funding from Mussolini’s foreign minister Galeazzo Ciano to poison the water wells of Tel Aviv. The operation did not go as planned and resulted in minor damage to pipelines, which was quickly repaired. That same year, he also established a youth movement resembling the Hitler Youth in Germany, and it was even officially called “The Nazi Scouts” for a period.
-
1936 onwards: The Great Arab Revolt against the British, during which thousands were killed, broke out at his initiative. Meanwhile, he also initiated assassinations against his political opponents. He succeeded: most of his opponents, who held moderate positions, were murdered or exiled from the land for good.
A report found after World War II in the files of the German High Command stated: “Only through the funds provided by Germany to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was the revolt in Palestine made possible.”
-
1937:
He tried to enlist Nazi Germany to support the Palestinian struggle. In his meeting with the German consul Walter Dohle, he emphasized his sympathy for the “New Germany” and expressed the Arabs’ expectation that Germany would firmly oppose a Jewish state. He also requested that Germany stop the policy encouraging Jews to leave Germany and come to the Land of Israel and asked that Germany pressure the Polish government to stop demanding from the British government an increase in the area supposedly intended for the absorption of Jewish refugees from Poland.
An anti-Semitic speech, full of hatred, delivered by Mohammad Amin al-Husseini in Syria, was translated into German by the Nazi leadership and published in its newspapers.
In October, Eichmann comes to the Land of Israel to meet the Mufti. The British thwart the visit, but the decision Eichmann made is exactly what the Mufti wished for: there is no place to deport the Jews to the Land of Israel.
-
1938:
Due to the continuation of the revolt, during which the British-appointed Governor of the Galilee was also murdered, al-Husseini fled to Lebanon and managed the revolt from there. Since his people lacked weapons and money, he turned to the Germans for help, but they believed the time had not yet come for a public confrontation with the British. -
1939:
World War II breaks out while al-Husseini is in Lebanon. The British considered requesting his extradition from France (which controlled Lebanon) due to his being known as an ally of Germany and France!
Al-Husseini escapes to Iraq, where he continues to receive regular funding – among others – also from Germany and Italy.
-
1940:
a. At some point, he requests French citizenship from the pro-Nazi Vichy regime, under whose control Lebanon was. He also receives expenses.
b. After the fall of Paris to the Nazis, al-Husseini sends a personal letter to Hitler expressing his joy and happiness over the great achievement, together with his friend al-Kailani, former Prime Minister of Iraq. Later, he sends him a more detailed letter, which, in addition to countless praises, includes his report about the Arabs’ sympathy for Nazi ideology and his offer of cooperation against the British. In response, a senior official in the Nazi administration replies that the Reich will support him militarily and economically in the struggle against the British.
c. During this period, the Mufti submits to the German administration 15 draft declarations on German-Arab cooperation, in which the Nazi regime would recognize that the “solution to the Jewish problem” in the Middle East would be handled by the Arabs – in the same way Germany was dealing with the Jews!! -
1941:
a. After the Axis powers’ victory in Greece and North Africa, al-Husseini senses that a German victory in the Middle East is within reach, and he decides to orchestrate a coup in Iraq, in which he installs the same pro-Nazi al-Kailani and ousts the elected Prime Minister, who was an ally of the British, alongside spreading Nazi propaganda in Iraq and the Land of Israel.
b. However, the British mobilize to suppress the rebellion and reoccupy Iraq, with the Mufti escaping again, this time to Iran. On the way, he encourages pogroms against the Jews of Iraq – “the Farhud” in which hundreds of Jews were massacred and thousands wounded.
c. During his stay in Iran, he holds secret contacts with the German ambassador and other senior officials, and the German administration orders that he be invited to Germany. While he is in Iran, the fascist Italian government intervenes to save him, and later, they carry out a special worldwide operation to bring him to Italy. He meets Mussolini, who instructs that he be treated as a head of state, with all that this entails, and grants him huge sums for his activities.
d. From there, he arrives in Germany, meets all the big names, and prepares the various declarations. At the end of ’41, he meets with Hitler for an hour and a half. During the conversation, the Mufti proposes the establishment of an Arab Legion to serve the Nazis and discusses with him the suitable conditions for a full Arab uprising in the Middle East against the British, alongside Germany. The “need” for the complete extermination of the Jews is something they both see eye to eye on, with all that this implies.
e. He leaves the meeting with great honor, and from then until the end of the war, he resides alternately in Berlin and Italy, as a full-fledged senior Nazi. To promote the Arab-Nazi takeover of the Land of Israel and the Middle East, Hitler orders that he receive an enormous monthly sum of about 750,000 Reichsmarks(!) - 1942:
a. The Mufti thwarts the “Transnistria Plan” to save 70,000 Romanian Jews and transfer them to the Middle East, in exchange for tens of millions of dollars to be paid to the Romanian government. Elements on their part had already ordered the implementation of the plan, but it was canceled due to the Mufti’s opposition to transferring any Jews to the Land of Israel or Iraq. Thus, 70,000 Jews were directly slaughtered as a result of the Mufti’s activity.
b. Another negotiation, to save ten thousand orphaned Jewish children from Slovakia and bring them to the Land of Israel, was conducted at the time with Dieter Wisliceny, Eichmann’s right-hand man, for huge sums of money. Here, too, Eichmann prevented the deal for the same reason – the agreement with Hitler not to send Jews to the Land of Israel. 10,000 Jewish children were massacred.
c. He demands the expansion of the extermination scope, according to Wikipedia. Meanwhile, he broadcasts Nazi propaganda over German radio targeting the Middle East, North Africa, and India. He essentially becomes a kind of Middle East Commander-in-Chief in the Nazi General Staff. The Nazis establish for him the “Arab Office: The Grand Mufti,” and from there he oversees Nazi propaganda broadcasts to Arabs via various media channels across Europe, transmitting also unimaginable anti-Semitic messages almost throughout the globe.
d. Later, he implements his plan and forms an Arab SS Legion composed of fighters from Yugoslavia, Albania, Bulgaria. He also works to establish a battalion of 20,000 Bosnians, whom he equips with anti-Semitic propaganda materials calling for the annihilation of every Jew wherever found. His headquarters – it is worth mentioning – is located inside the SS command center.
e. And that’s not all: in Berlin, the “Central Islamic Institute” is inaugurated, where he serves as honorary chairman, with senior regime members participating. It functioned as the liaison body between Muslims and the regime, and also trained Muslim clergy for the military units operating under him. - 1942 (continued):
f. In the summer, he conducts an impressive visit to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, together with his political partner al-Kailani; Fritz Grobba – a senior German with whom he had maintained contact since the Middle East; and other senior figures from India (where al-Husseini also operated) and more, in preparation for the establishment of concentration camps in the Land of Israel, the Middle East, and other locations. The guests are said to be “deeply impressed.” From the visual evidence, especially the photo with the caption, al-Husseini appears to be the most senior guest. There is a claim he also visited Auschwitz with Eichmann.
g. This takes place at a very precise point in time: in June, the Nazis capture Tobruk in Libya, from where – they are confident – they will move on to Egypt, then to the Land of Israel and beyond. A dedicated unit – “Einsatzgruppe Egypt” – is formed in North Africa for the mission and takes up a waiting position in Athens.
h. The Mufti establishes an organization of Arab gangs intended to reach Egypt and Arab countries to strike the British and the Jews, by destroying roads, bridges, and communication routes, and to encourage uprisings within the countries. Regular Arab military units were also set up to fight alongside the Axis forces. To prepare the ground for revolts and disrupt the operations of the British and Jewish military, shipments of weapons and ammunition were sent to Egypt, the Land of Israel, Syria, and Iraq.
i. The area of Jenin is designated by the Mufti for the construction of crematoria for the approximately half a million Jews who were in the Land of Israel at that time. Note: Professor Edward Said, a Palestinian Christian, confirmed that the Mufti’s call for the annihilation of the Jewish people “represented the consensus of the Arabs of Palestine.”
Only Rommel’s defeat at El Alamein later on prevented the implementation of this plan and left the people of Israel a remnant. That did not stop the Mufti from continuing to plan Jewish genocide, both in Europe and in the Land of Israel, as seen –
-
1943:
a. Attempts by various European governments to transfer 30,000–50,000 Jews to the Land of Israel were thwarted by the Nazis due to the agreements between Hitler and the Mufti.
b. Efforts to transfer about 6,000 Jews from Bulgaria to the Land of Israel, which included American and British pressure, were thwarted by al-Husseini, who launched a global campaign to prevent their departure from bleeding Europe.
c. Before the Axis powers withdrew from Libya, al-Husseini proposed to “purify” Tripoli of Jews and confiscate their property.
d. At the same time, he continues to establish Muslim units in Croatia, recruits soldiers for Germany in the Caucasus, and funnels Arabs and North Africans in Germany into the Arab Legion under the Wehrmacht.
e. He proposes bombing the Jewish Agency building in Jerusalem, as well as bombing Tel Aviv. This is not carried out for military reasons.
f. The Mufti receives about 100,000 Reichsmarks per month for his living expenses and to maintain his staff.
g. He receives personal letters from Hitler, gifts from Himmler, and they shower each other with compliments and praise, extolling their shared goal – the annihilation of the Jews. -
1944:
a. Operation Atlas: The Mufti again tries to implement his diabolical plan – poisoning Tel Aviv’s water supply. The plan was to pour poison into the wells of Rosh Ha’ayin, from which water was supplied to Tel Aviv and the surrounding area. The mission aimed to kill 250,000 Jews. On October 6th, the team parachuted in, equipped with maps, radio devices, explosives, and about 10 boxes containing poison. They were also given 5,000 pounds sterling. The mission failed, by divine grace, due to negligence by the Palestinian terrorists in the team.
(Some claim the operation’s goal was more modest. Well, well.)
b. In response to Churchill’s announcement regarding the establishment of the Jewish Brigade, al-Husseini develops the “Arab Brigade” of the Nazi army, intended to fight the British in the Land of Israel in a way that would force them to divert resources to the war effort there, at the expense of their war against the Nazis. A huge amount of ammunition, including tens of thousands of rifles, is sent to ensure the operation’s success.
c. He operates a system of espionage and sabotage against the British and French forces in the Middle East.
d. He transmits deep, Nazi, anti-Semitic propaganda material to the Arabs of the Land.
e. He prevents the transfer of several groups of dozens of Jewish children to the Land of Israel, and they, of course, are slaughtered by the Nazis.
f. In his broadcasts on Radio Berlin, he declares:
“Arabs! Rise as one man and fight for your sacred rights! Kill the Jews wherever you find them! This pleases Allah, history, and religion. This saves your honor. God is with you!” – – –
Before conclusion: I will not now enter the discussion about the Mufti’s role in shaping the nature of the “Final Solution.” But on one point there is no dispute: the Nazis initially considered deporting Europe’s Jews to the Land of Israel, and it was the Mufti who dissuaded them from doing so. Each one may draw his own conclusion from this.
Epilogue:
This article should not have been published on Twitter, but rather engraved on the entrance wall of Yad Vashem.
The fact that this important institution minimizes the Mufti’s role – out of leftist fear of harming the ‘peace’ narrative – is a grave stain, as it allows the Mufti’s Nazi disciples in the PLO and Hamas to continue his program.
October 7th is just one clause in the same annihilation plan that many Arabs have never ceased to ponder and promote.
This has been obvious to me for many years… Al Husseini essentially encouraged Hitler to kill all the Jews by putting his “god’s” demand for this as written in the Koran, in front of Hitler.
All for the glory of Allah!!!
