New DNC Pipe-Bomb Video Can “Utterly Demolish The Jan6 Narrative”: Darren Beattie

Peloni:  For further details, see Beattie’s tweet thread summary or his comprehensive article on Revolver News.  Revolver has been an important source of investigative reporting since its founding, but this recent revolation was in a class all of its own.  Highly recommended.

by Tyler Durden, Zero Hedge Friday, Jan 19, 2024 – 07:20 PM

“If the Republicans step up, if the speaker steps up, if the relevant congressional figures step up, this is the chance to utterly demolish the January 6th narrative that the regime is using to weaponize the national security state against the American people, and to take Trump off the ballot.”

Having acquitted himself extremely well (and calmly) during the ZeroHedge Debate on January 6th, Darren Beattie brandished his considerable tome of facts to discuss with Tucker Carlson the impact of newly-released footage surrounding the pipe-bomb incidents of January 6th (well 5th).

Can Biden and Blinken Read the Middle East?

The Israeli public is in no mood today to give Palestinians a state, but the U.S. keeps pushing it.

By The Editorial Board, WSJ Jan. 18, 2024

Liberal policy on the Middle East is like a machine with a part missing. No matter the input, its output stays the same. Hamas launches the most gruesome invasion of Israel imaginable? Create a Palestinian state. The Palestinian Authority glorifies the massacre, prepares to compensate the killers and pledges solidarity with Hamas? Create a Palestinian state.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken laid out in Davos on Wednesday the perennially failing solution to Middle East problems. “If you take a regional approach, and if you pursue integration with security, with a Palestinian state, all of a sudden you have a region that’s come together in ways that answer the most profound questions that Israel has tried to answer for years,” he said. “Iran is suddenly isolated,” he envisioned, “and will have to make decisions about what it wants its future to be.”

Israel’s New Website On Hamas Atrocities Has 43 Million Viewers in the First Week

By: Hugh Fitzgerald, JIHAD WATCH January 18, 2024:

For decades, the Israelis have worried about the quality, and reach, of their hasbara — the “explaining” to the world why Israel does what it does. And nothing has cried out for more ”explaining” to the world than the campaign in Gaza to uproot the Hamas terrorists. It’s been little more than three months after the Hamas atrocities on October 7, and already, the shock has worn off for most of the world.

There are pro-Palestinian marches in major cities in the Western world with protesters in London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Montreal, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles, denouncing Israel, as if it, and not Hamas, had inflicted atrocities. These protesters demand an immediate end to the Gaza war, which would leave Hamas still standing, chant about a Palestine “from the river to the sea,” which means the obliteration of Israel and its replacement by a twenty-third Arab state, and inveigh against Israel as a “settler colonial apartheid state.” Most recently, these marchers have described Israel as guilty of “genocide’ and called for the Jewish state to be declared guilty of “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

‘On Confronting the Iranian Regime

by Majid Rafizadeh, GATESTONE  •  January 20, 2024

  • Any evaluation of the Biden administration’s policy towards the Iranian regime (and towards the Palestinians) reveals a failure: the deadly Western miscalculation that “being nice” will be reciprocated. In the culture of the Middle East, that simply does not work. Instead, one is looked on as a gullible sucker or juicy “mark,” like a jolly drunk at a strip club.
  • As Osama bin Laden pointed out, especially for his region, “When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse.”

Long live freedom!

By Javier Milei, TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS               19 January 2024

Javier Milei gave an important speech at Davos that I think every American needs to hear and digest. Milei is an economist and the new conservative President of Argentina. He explains, in simple terms, why the West and free-market capitalism is worth fighting for. Here is an edited, abbreviated transcript of his speech, that I prepared, that you can read in 10 minutes.

Blinken is using blackmail to achieve goal of Palestinian statehood – opinion

Israel has no obligation to restore the lives and homes of those who tried to destroy ours because we don’t owe them that consideration.

In his need to be clever and come up with new creative ways to achieve the goal of Palestinian statehood, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has now resorted to the threat that “Arabs won’t pay to rebuild Gaza without a path to Palestinian statehood” (The Jerusalem Post, January 17, 2024).

In short, Blinken is making it clear that unless we want to absorb the full cost of rebuilding Gaza, we are going to have to offer to make nice with the Palestinians by incentivizing their willingness to take on the massive restoration project. And under what framework would that incentive come? Being agreeable to the acceptance of a Palestinian state alongside the Jewish one.

Israel’s emergency government close to collapse as Gaza war continues

T. Belman. I disagree with the title and the sub-title. Remember if Ganz leaves the emergency government it will still be in effect as Saar and his party remain.  If Saar also leaves , it will signal the end of the “emergency government” but the original government with 64 seats will remain. But I don’t think Saar will leave.  Saar hopes to merge his party with Likud and replace Bibi as the leader and prime minister. He is even positioning himself to the right of Netanyahu.  The public wants right-wing policies. All other leaders stand to the left.

The question is no longer whether an election will take place in 2024, but rather when in 2024.

By YANIR COZIN, JPOST    JANUARY 19, 2024

‘The Americans have realized that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is incapacitated because of the political situation he is in,” a senior official from one of Israel’s opposition parties informed me last week.

“In fear of voters’ reaction, moreover, Netanyahu has even gone as far as to conceal his transition to Stage 3 of the war not only from his own war cabinet, but also from the general public.”

LIST IS IN! Top Three Surprising Republicans On Trump’s VP ‘Shortlist’ Revealed

T. Belman.  Don Jr recommended Tucker Carlson.

The process of selecting a vice presidential candidate is currently underway after former President Donald Trump’s significant defeat in the Iowa caucuses on Monday. According to representatives, the Republican leader has now reduced his list of potential running mates to a final three candidates.

According to insiders, the decision is being made between Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), and presidential candidate Nikki Haley. The rationales, advantages, and disadvantages differ for each option, but individuals in close proximity to Trump assert that he possesses justifications to feel that each option would contribute positively to his race against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Biden Houthi Sanctions Include Carveout Allowing Lucrative Energy Deals With Terror Group

Critics say exemption neuters sanctions meant to choke off Iranian proxy’s resources.

The Biden administration’s recently announced sanctions on the Iran-backed Houthi rebels will include a carveout that permits the terror group to engage in lucrative energy and fuel-related transactions with Americans, a decision that congressional critics say effectively neuters the sanctions.

license issued by the Treasury Department and circulated to Congress this week authorizes “transactions related to refined petroleum products in Yemen involving Ansarallah,” otherwise known as the Houthi militant group. This includes authorization for the “sale of refined petroleum products for personal, commercial, or humanitarian use in Yemen.”

The US campaign to oust Netanyahu

The U.S. secretary of state is pushing a plan for the Palestinian Authority to take over Gaza.

Is Israel on the cusp of political upheaval? In recent days, evidence has grown that two key actors—the Biden administration and Israel’s security establishment—are both pushing the country in that direction to advance their longstanding common goal of ousting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the religious-right bloc from power.

The Biden administration showed its hand on Tuesday when U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken gave Israel an ultimatum to support Palestinian statehood or risk demonization by the administration.

Jordan offically joins the Iranian side

Abedalela Amaala tweeted:

The Hashemite regime and Abdullah II are complicit with the criminal regime of Bashar al-Assad in killing innocent people in Suwayda Governorate. The bombing of the people of Suwayda in Syria is in order to stop the Syrian uprising in Suwayda Governorate against the rule of Bashar al-Assad. The hidden has been revealed to the Hashemite rule. Jordanian warplanes did not bomb any Iranian military militia. Abdullah II officially joins Iran, Hezbollah, the Yemeni Houthis, Asaib al-Haq, and the Iraqi Fatimids to the axis of evil. Bashar al-Assad’s regime provides the coordinates of the homes of leading citizens opposed to the Syrian regime to the Hashemite regime in order to bomb them with Jordanian warplanes. A huge scandal involving the Hashemite regime in cooperation with the Bashar al-Assad regime

After the Gaza War: Why Palestine Would Be a Lawless and Militarized State

By January 18, 2024

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 2,256, January 18, 2023

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Despite compelling logical and historical arguments against a two-state solution, louder and louder demands for a Palestinian state are being voiced worldwide. In response, Israel and its allies should remind global governments and populations that “Palestine” has no intention of ever living peacefully alongside Israel, but intends instead to replace the Jewish State in orchestrated and increasingly violent increments. Any pre-independence Palestinian commitments to remain demilitarized could quickly and even legally be undermined.

The West’s lethal error in the war against Israel

T. Belman. This is an odd title. The West did this by choice. It was not an error.

Unfortunately the Israeli government accepted the distinction. This was a big mistake.

The distinction between Hamas and “ordinary” Palestinian Arabs is largely spurious.

By Melanie Phillips,

(JNS) In the current war in the Middle East, it’s a given that a distinction must be drawn between Hamas and the “ordinary” Palestinian Arab residents of Gaza.

This distinction, however, is largely spurious.

An article in The Washington Free Beacon that drew upon interviews given to Israeli TV by freed hostages has confirmed that ordinary Gazans were deeply involved in the Oct. 7 pogrom and subjected the hostages to cruelty, abuse and starvation.

What’s the Matter with Lebanon? w/ Tony Badran

Peloni: Tony Badran’s expertise on the Levant offers an important perspective on the US position in Lebanon.  He relates the importance of the Lebanon maritime deal forced on Israel as it relates to being used as the basis of a Lebanon land deal which will likewise be forced on Israel.  He also goes into details as to the end goals of the Washington establishment, both on the Right and the Left, and why they are aligned with Iran.

For the latest episode of The Scroll podcast, Scroll Senior Writer Park MacDougald speaks with Tablet News Editor and Levant Analyst Tony Badran about Lebanon. Questions addressed in this episode include: Is Lebanon a real country? Why should I care about it? And why do you people at Tablet keep talking about this 2022 maritime deal? And stick around to the end for a discussion on the Third Worldification of American politics.

Surrender: Blinken Tells Netanyahu Israel Can’t Defeat Hamas

JOEL B. POLLAK, BREITBART

Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week that Israel cannot defeat Hamas — that there is no “military solution,” and that Israel will have to accept a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu reportedly rejected the idea.

NBC News reported Wednesday that Blinken, and Biden, are therefore trying to work around Netanyahu — the democratically-elected leader of Israel — in a departure from the Biden administration’s posture as the supposed defender of democratic ideals:
