A bomb is just a bomb: Intent, strategy, and will make it mean something

As time goes by.

By J.E. Dyer, OPTIMISTIC CONSERVATIVE     15 January 2024

Bonus: the Houthis are firing at U.S.-linked shipping.

Moreover, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed credit itself for an attack in Iraq that would equate to the most recent attack on U.S. assets in Erbil.

That’s a major escalation:  an “in your face” political signal.

We are winning, despite the media failing us once again

It is the tiny disconnected far left elites in the media, universities, and Jewish-progressive foundations who have tremendous influence on IDF senior officials and career government staff, many of them retired failures, and want us to repeat their terrible mistakes.

By Avi Abelow, INN      Jan 16, 2024, 7:00 AM

Senior leadership of IDF and Shabak are now “advising” the government to allow Arab Muslim workers from Judea and Samaria to work in Jewish communities throughout Israel again as well as advising the government to strengthen the Palestinian Authority.

Many Israelis are in shock, because that was the exact “expert” advice they gave about allowing Gaza workers to work in Israel and giving Hamas money, to help them out economically and prevent terror. In the end, the massacre on Oct. 7th proved that theory tragically wrong. In the end, Gazan workers acted as spies, took part in the massacre, and celebrated with the whole Gazan population as the massacre was taking place. Israelis are in shock that the defense establishment is still stuck with the flawed strategic thinking of Oct. 6th!

Scott Ritter: Yemen, Iran JOIN WAR & US Military is NOT READY for Israel Middle East Powder Keg

T. Belman. Ritter shows himself as antisemitic and pro-Palestinian. That aside he paints a very bleak picture for Israel and the US. Neither can sustain a regional war economically. The US can’t defeat the Houthies backed by Iran and Israel can’t defeat Hezbollah. If Israel attacks Lebanon, she may lose the Galilee to Hezbollah. China and Russia are lurking in the background, looking to take advantage of any opportunites that may arise.

Whether you agree with him or not, you should be aware of his arguments, Macgregor also paints a bleak picture for Israel and even said Israel will not exist in 20 years. In his last video he also claims that Eliminating the US Military from the ME is inevitable. Glick says Eisenkop wants Israel to accept defeat and cut her losses. So who is gas-lighting whom?

Trump wins Iowa’s first-in-the-nation GOP caucuses

Peloni : May the best man win…What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force. We will see come November when Trump wins his historic third election in a row against the Uniparty’s best efforts of skullduggery, shenanigans, and cheating.

AP News, January 15, 2024

Donald Trump has won the Iowa Republican caucuses. The Associated Press declared the former president the winner based on an analysis of early returns as well as results of AP VoteCast. Initial results showed Trump with far more than half of the total votes counted as of 8:31 pm. ET, with the rest of the field trailing far behind. AP VoteCast shows Trump with sizable leads among both men and women, as well as every age group and geographic regions throughout the state. At stake are Iowa’s 40 delegates to the Republican National Convention, as well as bragging rights and momentum heading into the New Hampshire primary next week and next month’s contests in Nevada and South Carolina.

Israel Update: WHY DID THE IDF FAIL ON OCT. 7?

Peloni:  An important discussion relating to the October 7 failures by the IDF.  Also Mike raises the concern that the war with Hamas has shifted the priorities from Iran to Hamas on a host of different ways, and thereby provides Iran with just one more victory to hearald from October 7.  In addition to this, Gadi raises the issue that Israel ‘dodged the bullet’ on October 7 when Hamas acted alone in attacking Israel.  Mike and Gadi both agree that this war was intended to be waged after Iran had the bomb, but that Hamas ‘jumped the gun’.  A very informative conversation as usual.

BY Michael Doran & Gadi Taub, Tablet    JANUARY 14, 2024

A newly published investigative piece in Israel’s daily Yedioth Ahronoth recounts the blow by blow failure of Israel’s army on that fateful morning. How could a low-tech relatively small terror organization outsmart a high-tech giant with a modern state behind it? Michael Doran and Gadi Taub discuss the main findings. Evidently, Hamas understood exactly how the IDF operates, while the IDF made erroneous speculations about Hamas’s intentions at the expense of studying its MO and its capabilities.

Ben Gvir: Our Questions Make Gantz and Gallant Uncomfortable

By David Israel, JEWISH PRESS                          14 January 2024

Following a Saturday night report that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant had stormed out of a war cabinet meeting when his aides were asked to leave, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir attacked Gallant and Minister Benny Gantz in an interview on the popular right-wing news panel, “The Patriots.”

Ben Gvir’s main point was that Gantz and Gallant don’t like it when fellow ministers ask them tough questions during cabinet meetings.

“I’ll put it this way,” Ben Gvir told the right-wing Channel 14 panel, “There are those who try to silence us. It’s no secret that we ask questions, myself, Miri Regev, Smotrich, too. And unfortunately, there is someone out there who wants to discourage us from asking questions.”

Iranian born expert Eliahu Yosian: Hebrew-Arab NATO should be established

T. Belman. In my 2022 Webinar, Mudar Zahran spoke about  Jordan’s Future Between the Abraham Accords and an Arab NATO

Middle East expert, Eliahu Yosian, suggests setting up an Israeli-Arab NATO training unit: ‘We have technology and cyber skills and they have money and depth. An Israeli soldier has three years experience, we can train them in our combat methods.’

Iranian born Middle East expert, Eliahu Yosian, spoke with Arutz Sheva – Israel National News at the convention ‘Lessons from Gaza’ of the Sovereignty Movement.

“We will not eliminate Hamas by killing terrorists and destroying the Gaza Strip that will only be reinstated by Qatar”, Yosian emphasizes, “The appropriate response is to take the land from them”.

How can a Woke West defeat radical Islam?

T. Belman.  I don’t think the vast majority of Westerners believe in woke values or principles. So, many governments including the US and Canada, impose these values on their citizens, whether they like them or not and fire you or imprison you or fine you if you object.  Their obsessive embrace of wokeness has made them totoliterian rather than democratic.

The answer is that it can’t. It is too obsessed with non-existent gender equity to even try.

By

The Welfare State, the great pride of Western civilization, the latest achievement of democracy of a civilized, democratic and well-fed West, has ended. The Toronto Sun reports that Canadian government websites no longer talk about “women”, but about “menstruating employees.”

People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier thunders against Trudeau’s “gender-obsessed” government which is waging a systematic attack on masculinity and turning men “into non-binary, trans, gender-fluid, weak and effeminate sissies.”

Everything You Wanted to Know About Qatar But Were Afraid to Ask

Peloni:  Continued cooperation and dialogue with Qatar represents an existential threat to Israel.  The Qataris are in fact not part of any solution which Israel needs, but rather they are part of nearly every problem which Israel faces.  As is explained in the FDD conversation below, the good cop pretense afforded to Doha is part of the foundation of the old Conception which must be ended.

Foundation for Defense of Democracies, January 12, 2024

Host Cliff May is joined by FDD experts Jonathan Schanzer and Richard Goldberg to discuss Qatar donning the facade of ‘mediator’ and ‘peacemaker.’ The reality is rather different.

BREAKING ELECTION INTEGRITY WIN

Peloni: Finally, someone who is actually interested in pursuing election fraud.  It should be noted that while election fraud benefited Democratic victories, in far too many jurisdictions, particularly in the swing states, it was Republicans who either acted to support the fraud or helped obstruct any investigation of fraud.  As Paxton continues to pursue his investigation, let us see how these uniparty faithful will continue to further obstruct Paxton’s efforts to address the most substantial threat to the American Republic since the Constitution was signed.

Texas AG Paxton Demands Counties Provide Machine Audit Logs.

Complying with open records requests nationwide will likely prove massive election fraud

By CDM Staff, CD Media January 14, 2024

At CDM we have been cataloguing a rogues gallery of suspected election fraudsters, along with corroborating evidence across several states for months. The issue has centered mainly on the ‘blank ballot’ issue found throughout the nation in states which are allowing the alleged fraud by allowing machines to designate large percentages of ballots cast ‘blank’ and then adjudicating them by software. In short, a sophisticated way of ‘changing votes’. In Broward County, FL in 2020, upwards of 20% of ballots cast in some precincts were designated ‘blank’.

When Terrorists Talk, MEMRI Listens

Memri, the Middle East Media Research Institute, fights Hamas by telling the world what its leaders are saying.

By Elliot Kaufman, WSJ    Jan. 12, 2024

Yigal Carmon is one of the few Israelis who can claim to have predicted this war. His Aug. 31 article “Signs of Possible War in September-October” cited provocations by Hezbollah, escalating violence in the West Bank and threats from Hamas as evidence of regional coordination for something big. “Israel will likely be compelled to undertake a large-scale response,” he wrote, “even at the cost of an all-out war.”

Some details were off, but Mr. Carmon says anyone paying attention would have seen the writing on the wall. “They said it all. They said everything,” Mr. Carmon, a former Israeli intelligence officer and counterterrorism adviser to two prime ministers, says in a phone interview from Jerusalem. As president and a co-founder of Memri, the Middle East Media Research Institute, he had publicized Hamas’s videos advertising its drills for an invasion of Israel, as well as its claims that total war was coming.

Restoring the Zionist Iron Wall

The bold proposals of General Gershon Hacohen for national vision and renewed ideological-theological defense posture.

By  David M. Weinberg, IH    01-14-2024

Defense analysts rightly have been focused in recent weeks on how to restore security for Israel on the tactical level. This includes how to topple Hamas rule in Gaza, destroy its weapons production infrastructure and military capabilities, establish a broad security perimeter along the entire length of the Gaza-Israel and Gaza-Egypt border, ensure long-term demilitarization of Gaza as much as possible, and prevent a Hamas build-up in Judea and Samaria.

Anti-Communist Lai Ching-te Wins Taiwan Presidential Election, Disappointing China

Anti-communist Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) candidate Lai Ching-te won Taiwan’s presidential election on Saturday, defeating his two leftist rivals on a campaign emphasizing Taiwan’s sovereignty in the face of mounting threats from China.

Lai, sometimes referred to by his Western name, William Lai, is the current vice president and the first candidate to secure a third term for a political party in the young history of Taiwanese democracy. As a former physician, Lai rose to prominence as an authority figure during the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, during which Taiwan distinguished itself as the first nation to alert the World Health Organization – in vain – to the spread of a novel disease in China and for its performance in containing infections and preventing widespread death.

The CCP’s $1 Trillion Geopolitical Weapon Is Failing

By Terri Wu, EPOCH TIMES                           12 January 2024

China’s $1 trillion global infrastructure investment program just turned 10, and it’s losing its luster.

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), touted as a platform for China to build trade and investment links in developing countries, has evolved much in the past decade.

But wariness from countries in recent years has grown, and the program has drawn criticism over issues ranging from saddling partners with unsustainable debt to fueling corruption and labor abuses.
