The Myth of Saudi Moderation: When Mecca Speaks, It Speaks for the State

Peloni:  While Saudi Arabia does not recognize the state of Israel, it certainly wants Israel to recognize its anger with Israel.  Beyond the report below, in recent days leading upto this sermon, the Saudis have threatened further distancing from Israel over its actions in Syria, and the rabbi of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Rabbi Jacob Herzog, has been barred from entering Saudi Arabia.  These are not coincidences.

Janet Levy:  Mecca is the pulpit that transmits messages to the entire Muslim world – global religious signaling.  What’s broadcast at the Grand Mosque represents the ideology, politics, and policies of the Saudi rulers.

The mosque in Mecca is run by the Saudi state and its imams are state-appointed.  It’s impossible for a sermon to be delivered there that goes against the positions of the Kingdom.

This was part of a December 13th sermon:

“Our children in our beloved and respected Palestine… stood with their stone sticks and bodies against the oppressive, brutal Zionist enemy with its varied, superior, deadly weapons…

Oh Allah, deal with the Jews who have seized and occupied, for they cannot escape Your power. Oh Allah, send upon them Your punishment and misery which is never repelled from the wrongdoing people.”

Ask yourself what the Abraham Accords REALLY mean?  Smells like, walks like and talks like taqiyya.

From Islam’s holiest, state-controlled pulpit in Mecca, the sermon praised Palestinian violence and explicitly prayed for divine punishment and misery to be inflicted on Jews, presenting that message as legitimate religious guidance broadcast to the Muslim world.

Syria’s Integration Deal Nears Collapse

In just a little more than a week, Syria could return to the civil strife its people suffered under for 13 years. A March deal to unify the militaries of President Ahmad al-Sharaa and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces commander Mazloum Abdi is unlikely to be consummated by the end of the year. Instead, there has been renewed conflict. “In the event that SDF forces refuse to implement the March agreement, matters may head towards escalation,” an Interior Ministry spokesperson warned after intense clashes with SDF forces in Aleppo on December 22.

The Forgotten Bond of Friendship between the American Zionists and the Black Civil Rights Movement

For at least four decades, African-American and Jewish relations have soured and whatever platitudes may be uttered by recognized leaders of both groups, the rank and file among both groups often hold aggressive and condescending views of each other. Few remember or care to celebrate the heyday of the close, cordial and fraternal relations in the 1940s that differed from the American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s when many Liberal Jewish activists were often in the forefront of that struggle, sometimes to the chagrin and open resentment of many young Blacks.

China’s Military Buildup Leaves US Vulnerable, Pentagon Warns

Janet Levy:  The schedule for this kinetic part of China’s 7 forms of unrestricted warfare program segues with the timing of Agenda 2030, a.k.a. NWO or The Great Reset.

China is a close ally to Qatar, our “great friends” who are protected by an EO issued by Trump in September.

Despite the expansion, China’s military remains riddled with corruption, and an ongoing purge may affect its short-term nuclear readiness, the Pentagon says.

Israel to invest $110 Bn over 10yrs to build independent arms industry

Peloni:  This was anticipated following the signing of the recent gas deal as well as the recent sale of Arrow 3 systems to Europe.  Importantly, this will solve some of Israel’s dependence on the US arms, but as Netanyahu indicates, not all of it.  The long term arrangement with the US which is actually mischaracterized as aid has had an unhealthy effect upon both the US and Israel, making the former more demanding and the latter too conciliating.  A return of respect and distance is required in this relationship, and this will likely lead to achieving both of these goals, though again, not completely.

Trump Hands 21st Century to China, Reverses Biden’s Ban on Selling Advanced Chips

by Gordon G. Chang  •  Gatestone Institute  •  December 25, 2025

President Donald Trump’s decision this month to reverse a Biden-era ban on the export to China of advanced chips and approve the sale of Nvidia H200 chips is a grave mistake, wrong both strategically and morally. Image created via AI

  • “Rather than grow dependent, China will take Nvidia chips while they are available, use them to train models to compete with American frontier variants and continue to invest heavily in domestic alternatives like Huawei’s Ascend chips. When those are good enough, the firms will drop Nvidia—and quickly.” — Dmitri Alperovitch, co-founder of the cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, letter to the Wall Street Journal, December 21, 2025.

Megyn Kelly Blames Israel’s Conservative Champions For Antisemitism

Peloni:  So, according to Kelly, we Jews are responsible for the likes such as herself of abusing the Jews using age old retorts as she makes plain below.  So it seems she is now fully investing herself all with the MAGA talking heads who continue to excuse their antisemitic actions while unabashedly using traditional antisemitic tropes as an explanation.  I wonder if Kelly and the coterie of Jew Haters she is championing would be so well disposed in representing such denigrating views of African Americans while using Jim Crowe rhetoric to explain their utter lack of decency and moral cowardice.   Shame on you Megyn.

To preserve the US and Islam, we must root out radical Islamists

Peloni:  Political Islam is the face of Jihadism.  It replaces freedom with subjugation, and liberty with submission.  It is important that the West end its fascination with this anti-Western ideology and return to the primacy of equality under the law for all, and the law which should reign is not that of Sharia, but the laws which have come to represent the West and its Judeo Christian values.  The Muslim Brotherhood, and all of its many offshoots should be deemed as Foreign Terrorist organizations, and ripped out of the West, sanctioned into oblivion in the East, and rejected by all.

Radical Islamists threaten the US and the Constitutional protected American way of life we treasure. Their brand of what is referred to as Islamism, as opposed to classic Islam, is a case of a parasitic political ideology subverting the host religion. The cloak of religion is thus misused as a guise in which to pursue a malign agenda that is antithetical not only to the US, but to Islam, as well.

What Einat Wilf Still Does Not Understand About the Jihad Against Israel

Peloni:  It would seem important for someone looking for the creation of a second Muslim Palestinian state and for “Arab and Palestinian acceptance of Zionism” to look to both recognizing the first Muslim Palestinian state and to embrace the likes of Mudar Zahran who has long voiced his full embrace, not merely acceptance, of Zionism.  Doing so would solve many problems which can only be exponentially exacerbated by trying to screw another Two-State Solution peg into a Zionist hole, while hoping against all reason that this would lead to something other than the rejuvenation of Jihadi hopes of destroying Israel once again.  The path to any measure of peace lies exclusively thru recognizing Jordan as the Muslim Palestinian state, as it was cut from eastern Palestine exclusively for this purpose, and requiring Jordan to recognize the former Jordanian citizens as its own citizens, something for which Zahran has been advocating for a very very long time.

Saudi message to Israel: Intervention in Syria pushes normalization further away

Peloni:  It is interesting that the message being conveyed here by MBS is that for Israel to gain normalization with Riyadh, it must suffer the permanent presence of a genocidal threat in Judea and Samaria as well as one in the north without complaint.  At some point it must come to be recognized that stability in the region must include those security features which include rather than exclude Israel, and this would be the point on which normalization with SA should indicate.  Indeed, failing to appreciate and endorse such things which secures Israel’s borders, something which MBS appears too timid to accept, only belies a phantom quality upon which the basis of any normalization deal might be struck.  The entire point of normalization is that Israel should be accepted as a nation among its neighbors.  Hence, requiring Israel to permit a fomenting threat to rise from within Syria provides a poor representation of what normalization actually means to the Saudi king.  Israel must do as it needs to secure the north, regardless of the managed attempts by the US or the Saudi’s to require her to accept the menacing threat of Jolani’s well demonstrated genocidal cohorts.

Saudi Arabia is one of three countries backing the new government in Damascus, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa, alongside Turkey and Qatar. In recent months, the Saudis have already conveyed angry messages to the United States over Israel’s actions, and it appears they are now beginning to use the issue as leverage in normalization talks between Riyadh and Jerusalem.

Who was General Mohammed Al-Haddad, killed in Libya plane crash? – explainer

Peloni:  The crash of a plane carrying Libya’s Army Chief of Staff, Ground Forces Chief, Head of Military Manufacturing, and Adviser to the Chief of Staff seems highly suspicious.  Were Turkish demands in Libya too well refused by Gen. Al-Haddad?

Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Haddad, Libya’s Army Chief, was killed in a plane crash in Turkey on December 23. His death marks a significant loss for the Libyan military and its efforts toward unity.

Everything Is Permitted in the Land of Insanity

Peloni:  So well stated.

by Ari Bussel

Alexander (Aleksander) Bar-Yehuda was a Hungarian Jewish poet. Fifty-five years ago he signed his book Shirat Yisrael (“The Poetry of Israel”), which was published in Tel Aviv in 1962.

Shaul Kanzler, the translator into Hebrew, wrote in the introduction about the poet:

“He is one of many whom the storm of history hurled, with violent force, into a new–old homeland. Yet the warm beating of his heart was not stilled, and his courage of spirit and the delicacy of his soul alike burst forth from within him and gave expression to his new experiences, to his freedom— that of a Jewish man who can say aloud what lies in his heart.”
