The legal foundation of Israel’s E1 settlement plan

Peloni:  Here lies the statement which should have been put forward when Israel declared the decades long deadlock on expanding the E1 settlement plan.  Indeed, Israel’s rights to its ancestral lands is based on religious, historic and ancestral ties to the land, all of which may be seen to be deeply personal and terribly powerful arguments among us Jews, but the only argument which should be expected to gain support from the world at large is the basis upon which the world came to endorse the reconstitution of our ancient state on the lands of our ancestors, as deeded in international law and described here in this article.  Indeed, the extension of the E1 settlement plan was not simply a pragmatic move to block the insidious Two State Solution, although, if this were the only basis to doing so it would have been an important step to take, but instead, it was an act which was entirely consistent with the acknowledgement of our rights to our lands as agreed upon in international law.

The recent announcement by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to advance the long-stalled E1 settlement plan has, predictably, drawn criticism from various corners of the international community. Yet, lost in the reflexive condemnations is a sober assessment of the solid legal foundations underpinning Israel’s sovereignty over the heartland of its ancient homeland—Judea and Samaria. The strategic E1 corridor, connecting Jerusalem to Ma’ale Adumim, is more than a geopolitical flashpoint; it is a test case for the world’s willingness to acknowledge the established principles of international law that affirm Israel’s rightful claim to this land.

Stop leaving Egypt out of the conversation on Gaza’s humanitarian crisis

Peloni:   The humanitarian situation in Gaza only exists because of Egypt.  Indeed, not only is Egypt responsible for blocking Gazans from seeking refuge in Egypt and elsewhere, Egypt is responsible for facilitating the massive arms transfers to Gaza which actually made the October 7 slaughter, and the war which followed, possible.   Furthermore, Egypt maintains that not only should the Gazans wanting to leave Gaza be denied the right to do so during this war, but they should be permanently enslaved to remain tied to the land of Gaza as if they were serfs of the Middle Ages.  This mendacity masked as support for the Gazans, is in fact motivated by a determination to keep the Gazans trapped in their current situation where they might continued to be weaponized against Israel in the hopes that their enforced tragedy will continue to result in more dead Jews, which is of course both an accurate and intentional consequence of enforcing the permanently indentured status of the Gazans to the land of Gaza.

Egypt remains absent from any serious discussion of solutions on any humanitarian issues seen in the Gaza Strip.

Last week the UN-backed Integrated Food Security Phase Classification system declared famine conditions in parts of northern Gaza. The declaration altered normal IPC standards by relying on projections rather than verified evidence such as daily death counts from malnutrition or updated reporting on hunger mortality.

Release the USAID Record Like They Were JFK Files or Russiagate

Mike Benz | X

Not letting up on this. The State Dept has the chance to do something world historic, making USAID Files publicly available the same way ODNI is doing with the JFK Files and Russiagate Files. We need this immediately, and there has to be a sense of urgency.

Patrick Bet-David Interviews PM Netanyahu

Peloni: An explosive interview.  Many important topics are covered in this interview, including recognition of the Armenian genocide, Trump being able to have stopped Oct. 7 attack if he were in the White house, Israel’s lack of control over the US, and Israel’s need to control her own destiny, and much more.

Shame on Israel’s Government

Peloni:  This war was not brought by Israel, but brough upon her, and this was accomplished in a manner so vile and barbarous that only the most ill-guided or intrinsically evil could even pretend to defend it.  It demonstrated the fact that Israel can no longer afford to be saddled with existential threats mounting on her borders or within them.  And so, war has been made to save the Jewish State from becoming the ground upon which another Holocaust might be perpetrated.  There is no guilt to be argued in doing so, and there can be no shame in this pursuit.  While the loss of innocents is always a tragedy, that tragedy is neither the product of Israeli actions or Israeli intentions, even presuming that the presumed innocents are actually as presumed.  Both the battle and the battlefield have been constructed by Israel’s enemies, and this fact is the context which is being ignored, by one and all in this moment.

By Sha’i ben-Tekoa

On Monday, the IDF targeted rabid, undomesticated jackasses in human form sheltering among non-combatants inside a hospital built to serve the maniacs of October 7 as a base, as even from inside the building they tried to kill uniformed Jews who never intentionally kill unarmed enemy people.

There are more hospitals per capita in Gaza than in Israel, which is almost four times greater in population, a population famous for world-class medical care. And the reason for this is simple. The Muslim Brothers who hide behind the veil of Hamas built these hospitals as bases for themselves in the correct belief that Jews do not attack hospitals. First, they are terror bases, and only secondarily function as hospitals.

The Real Reason Jews Are Hated

by Nils A. Haug  •  Gatestone Institute  •  August 26, 2025

“The hate of the Jews is the most ancient and continuous hate in human history, and you can dress it up any way you want…. It is basically exactly what it has always been — the Jewish people brought morality to the world thousands of years ago and some people are still mad about it.” — Safra Catz, CEO of the US technology giant Oracle. Summer Camp for the  Next October 7 Killers

by Rafael Medoff

Summer is drawing to a close, and many American children will be left with warm memories of summer camps where they enjoyed nature hikes, arts and crafts, and singing around the campfire.

Many Palestinian Arab children attend summer camps, too. But their experiences are rather different.

Now is the time to fight fire with fire.

Diane Weber Bederman | Aug 25, 2025

Here we are, a few decades of “mea culpa” following the Holocaust-oh, this will never happen again – oops-it is. It isn’t the Nazis or the white supremacists this time, although they are participating: Candace Owens, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson – it’s the Muslims. And unlike Germany with 40 million people, there are 2 billion Muslims. How the world cheers them on, including leaders from the West – Canada, France, Great Britain, Australia. The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas has celebrated the Western countries for their decisions.  But there is one exception. One leader, and he is hated by so many. That leader:
Donald J Trump: President of the United States of America.

What a coincidence

Peloni:  There are no coincidences.

Avi Abelow

Hamas terrorists killed inside a hospital in Gaza, and once again “journalists” were killed there as well. What a coincidence. And Israel is the one being shamed in the media!

Here’s a thought: if the international community truly cares about the people of Gaza, why not direct pressure toward Hamas? Demand they surrender and release the hostages. That might be a constructive step toward ending this war—something worth considering for those advocating diplomacy.

And now we’re hearing the same tired voices from senior Israeli officials calling to stop the war?

IDF chief orders immediate probe into Israeli strike on Gaza hospital

‘Washington Post’ two-state solution is unrealistic

Peloni:  The world needs to come to accept the simple fact that Jordan is the Palestinian Arab state.  This was true at the creation of that state, when it was renamed to Jordan, and remains true to this day.  The only basis for ignoring this fact is to aid Iran, Fatah, Hamas and the other terror centers, in their endless goal of destroying Israel, something which the international community has long been actively involved in supporting, and continues to support to this day.

The vast majority of Jordanians are Palestinian Arabs according to their history, culture, language and religion.

Moshe Phillips | Aug 25, 2025

The editorial writers at The Washington Post support establishing a sovereign Palestinian Arab state next to Israel. They continue to say this even as Israel approaches nearly two years of war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip following the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

Unfortunately, they don’t seem to understand that Oct. 7 has changed everything.

Oh, NOES! Is red state Florida turning into an Islamized red state like Texas?

Janet Levy:  Soon we’ll hear the Adnan across the country five times daily. Then, they’ll be no-go-zones and sharia law courts. The mother country has over 100 such courts. France has over 750 no-go-zones. Sweden, where rape was unheard of just a few decades ago, has the third highest rapes per capita after Botswana and Lesotho. Must be all the “cultural enrichers” they invited into the country.

Why is the Trump administration SILENT as our country is being subsumed by Islam?

Israel reportedly agrees to reduce strikes on Hezbollah, demands Lebanon buffer zone in talks with US

Peloni:  There is no substitute for Israel’s unfettered freedom of action over the skies over Lebanon as Hezbollah remains armed in violation of multiple UN Security Council Resolutions.  Importantly, as the below report discusses a buffer zone between Israel and Lebanon, such a buffer would not replace the disarmament of Hezbollah throughout Lebanon.  Failing such a conclusion, Israel must maintain its freedom of action over Lebanon, as nothing else will address its security needs with an armed Hezbollah.

Economic zone along Lebanese border could prevent Hezbollah from returning

By Ambassador Tom Barrack – X, Public Domain, Wikipedia

Israel reportedly agreed to a request to reduce its strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon, which was transmitted by U.S. envoy Tom Barrack during meetings with Israeli representatives in Paris last week.

Qatar’s Muslim Scholars: Nothing More Important Than Killing Israelis

by Bassam Tawil  •  Gatestone Institute  August 25, 2025

For the scholars who are attending the International Union of Muslim Scholars conference in Istanbul, boycotting and isolating Israel is more important than halting the death and destruction in the Gaza Strip. Their interpretation of Sharia laws and international humanitarian principles suggests that it is fine to sacrifice as many Palestinians as necessary for the sake of murdering Jews and destroying Israel. Pictured: The Eyüp Sultan Mosque, Istanbul.  Photo by R Prazeres – Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, Wikipedia

  • As far as Qatar’s Muslim scholars are concerned… the war in the Gaza Strip did not start on the day Hamas launched its invasion of Israel. Rather, the war began the moment Israel fired back, and the only victims are the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, not those who were murdered, raped, beheaded and burned alive on October 7.
