Forget Free Speech: Rushdie’s Fatwa Is Winning

by Giulio Meotti, GATESTONE

“If only more people could follow his example, instead of taking the path of appeasement in the name of cultural sensitivity, the long years of murder and mayhem wrought by the Islamists on the West might come to an end.” — Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Unherd, August 7, 2022.

  • [A] terrible and different reality: the fatwa is gaining ground…
  • Islamic extremists in 2012 published a terrifying “most wanted list”, like those of the FBI. Title: “Yes we can. A bullet a day keeps the infidel away…. ” What happened to the faces and names on that list? They have been killed, left the public arena to protect themselves, or died under police protection.

Report Critical of Group Managing Voter Rolls in 33 States

Personal information of 56 million voters shared

By Beth Brelje, EPOCH TIMES

You shouldn’t be able to vote after you die.

When someone moves or dies, they should be removed from the registered voters’ roll so their name can’t be used to vote. In fact, the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993 requires states to make a reasonable effort to remove ineligible persons from voter rolls.

It is usually handled at the county or state level, but today, 33 states and Washington, D.C., are outsourcing parts of this task to the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC).

Look Who’s Interfering in the Knesset Elections to Block a Netanyahu Victory

Israeli voters must take into account that Iran and the Palestinian Authority are working to keep the Likud Party leader from reassuming the premiership.

The only thing surprising about Friday night’s Channel 12 revelation that the Palestinian Authority is attempting to influence the outcome of the upcoming Knesset elections was that it was reported as a big scoop. Though credit is due to Arab-Israeli contributor Mohammad Magadli for the exclusive item, it’s by no means the first time that the PA has tried to meddle in election cycles in the Jewish state.

Should you get any vaccines? The data shows the more you vax, the sicker you are.

If you took 100% of the vaccines they want you to take, you’re about 10X more likely to have medical issues. That’s not a typo: 10X, not 10%!

By Aug 19<

When I interviewed Andrew Wakefield, he told me that you are roughly 10X more likely to be sick if you are vaccinated with the normal schedule vs. the unvaccinated.

Here is a link to the paper co-authored by my good friend James Lyons-Weiler which shows this very clearly: Relative Incidence of Office Visits and Cumulative Rates of Billed Diagnoses Along the Axis of Vaccination by James Lyons-Weiler and Paul Thomas.

Here’s a key figure from the paper showing the more vaccinations you accept, the greater your chance of seeing the doctor (relative incidence of office visits). The trends were true for other causes as well (See Fig 4 and 5).

Intel Officials Reveal What FBI Was Really After in Mar-a-Lago Raid

BY MATT MARGOLIS, PJ MEDIA    AUG 20, 2022

AP Photo/Wilfredo Lee

There has been a lot of speculation as to the true purpose of the FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. Was it a fishing expedition? Was the raid cover for looking for documents related to January 6? One report even claimed that Trump had top secret documents about nuclear weapons.

Anonymous intelligence officials have told Newsweek they know exactly what the FBI was really after: documents related to the Russian collusion hoax — also known as Operation Crossfire Hurricane.

Iran is already nuclearized, so why do we need a deal?

It’s no longer a question of keeping the ayatollahs from developing a nuclear bomb, but of buying time to prepare for a nuclear Iran.

By  Prof. Eyal Zisser, ISRAEL HAYOM<
>
Like a marathon, full of ups and downs, the international community, under the leadership of the US, is closing in on signing a new nuclear deal with Iran.

On both sides of the negotiating table, there are those who are taking care to create a thick smokescreen to “confuse the enemy.” Sadly, the enemy, for our purposes, isn’t Tehran, but those who oppose a deal with it – primarily Israel.

How a Catholic-born Peruvian villager led hundreds to Jewish conversion – and Israel

In ‘The Prophet of the Andes,’ author Graciela Mochkofsky documents unlikely tale of Segundo Villanueva, whose revelations and efforts brought the ‘Inca Jews’ to the Promised Land

By RENEE GHERT-ZAND, TOI

In 1948, a 21-year-old Peruvian mestizo man named Segundo Villanueva opened up his murdered father’s trunk for the first time. It had been passed down through the generations of men in his family.

He was shocked to find an old copy of the Bible. He couldn’t understand what it was doing there, as his family was Catholic and thus forbidden from owning Bibles. Only priests were allowed to read the holy book and convey its contents to the people, he understood.

Why this campaign will be the toughest yet for Avigdor Liberman

His core base of FSU voters is dwindling, he’s left the Netanyahu bloc and partnered with Arab and left-wing parties. It’s hard to see where Yisrael Beytenu can draw fresh support

The state of the Israeli election campaign: Poll of polls, August 21, 2022, showing the number of seats parties would be expected to win if the election was held today, based on a weighing of the latest opinion polls.

In recent weeks, as this column has looked at the right and center-right of the Israeli political spectrum, one big name has been missing: that of Avigdor Liberman, leader of Yisrael Beytenu, and one of just a handful of politicians to have held the three big ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs and, presently, Finance.

A Jewish state or a state of its citizens?

T. Belman.  There is no conflict between Jewish and democratic as the left would have you believe. A Jewish state is just as democratic as a state of all its citizens. Don’t you believe otherwise.

The Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People (2018) was a political response by the Likud government led by former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

By MORDECHAI NISAN, JPOST 21.8.22

The Jewish people, an ancient people no less, rooted in a defiant national self-consciousness now confronts winds of post-nationalism, globalism, and multiculturalism.

These post-modern notions have the ideological force to dilute and destroy the ethos of Israel. Vilified and victimized as a racist apartheid state, charged with conducting a regime of occupation and expulsion, Israel sought to escape the opprobrium of global denunciation and isolation.

The day Sweden will be Islamic

T. Belman.  You asked for it. You got it. Canada also promoted the same multicultural and diversity crap in the seventies. What was wrong with the US melting pot.

Now Sweden fears being replaced by immigration. Li ke a drunkard in the morning, Sweden wakes up to the sad reality. Op-ed.

Swedish Prime Minister (1946-69) Tage Erlander in 1967 declared in response to the racial riots in the slums of Los Angeles that “we Swedes live in such an infinitely happier situation. The population in our country is homogeneous, not only in terms of race, but also in many other aspects ”.

In 1975 the country introduced multiculturalism with Social Democratic Prime Minister Olof Palme rejecting assimilation in favor of policies that encouraged minorities to maintain separate identities. It was part of the famous “freedom” of the Swedes, free to do and undo everything, from the family to the nation.

The “UN Commission of Enquiry” into the Israel-Gaza conflict abuses the UN Charter

By Alan Baker

This article was first published by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and republished by JNS.org.

In May 2021, the U.N. Human Rights Council established an “ongoing independent, international Commission of Inquiry” to investigate “all alleged violations of international humanitarian law and all alleged violations and abuses of international human rights law leading up to and since April 13, 2021, in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and all underlying root causes of recurrent tensions, instability, and protraction of conflict, including systematic discrimination and repression based on national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity.”

The Revolution

By Ray DiLorenzo, STAND UP AMERICA

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. “Barack Obama, 2008 Campaign Preface:Barack Obama, the underhanded insurrectionist that he is, called for a loyal army that could go against the civilian population…a Civilian National Security Force.  Did the Democrats just fund it?…87,000 new armed IRS agents?  It doubles the personnel at the IRS to around 180,000.  It’s equal to 12 Army divisions (13 divisions if you include the number of FBI special agents, Biden’s personal army).  It would be larger than the army of Germany, Italy, or even Israel.  Hitler’s Gestapo (secret state police) had only 32,000 at its height.  Additionally, the IRS is infamous for ignoring basic due process rights, harassment without cause, and accidental gun discharges.

Muhammad, Not Khomeini, Was First to Institutionalize the Slaughtering of His Critics

BY RAYMOND IBRAHIM, PJ MEDIA       AUG 19, 2022

Who was really responsible for the recent assassination attempt on Salman Rushdie?  While “mainstream media” spent a fair bit of time clearing their throat and searching for a “motive,” many remembered that in 1989, the then supreme leader of Iran, the Ayatollah Khomeini, had issued a fatwa, an Islamic edict, calling for the slaying of Rushdie, for having “insulted” the prophet of Islam in his 1988 novel, The Satanic Verses. In reality, fatwa or no fatwa, Muslims have been attacking and slaughtering those perceived to “blaspheme” against the prophet of Islam for nearly a millennium and a half, simply because Muhammad himself institutionalized the practice. The future of “moderate” Islam within the Muslim World.

A Conversation With Islamic Reformer Dr. Tawfik Hamid

By Joseph Puder, FPM    19.8.22

The assassination of al-Qaeda second-in-command Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri reminded this reporter of his friend Dr. Tawfik Hamid who was recruited by al-Zawahiri while being a medical student at Cairo University. Few people share as an incredible biography as Dr. Hamid. His father, an orthopedic surgeon was a secular Muslim, and Tawfik grew up in a cultured environment where tolerance and openness were major features. Dr. Hamid soon discovered the evil nature of Egypt’s al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya and their closed-mindedness. He subsequently moved far away to New Zealand. He recognized the threat posed by radical Islam, and started to teach peaceful interpretations of classical Islamic core texts. Dr. Hamid earned two higher degrees, one in Internal Medicine, which includes psychiatry, and the second in Cognitive Psychology. Dr. Tawfik Hamid is a physician, educator, Islamic thinker and reformer.

China Is Winning the Economic Race with the US – The Consequences Will Be Profound

by Judith Bergman, GATESTONE
August 17, 2022 at 5:00 am

  • The [Harvard Belfer Center] report, “The Great Economic Rivalry: China Vs. the US,” predicts that at the current rate China will overtake the US economically within a decade.
  • When it comes to trade, China has now displaced the US. “When this century began, China was knocking on the door of the WTO and the U.S. was the leading trading partner of most major economies. Today, China has overtaken the U.S. to become the largest trading partner for nearly every major nation… by 2018, 130 countries traded more with China than they did with the U.S…..” — The Belfer Report.

The truth is setting the Mideast free. Israel’s detractors should catch on

T. Belman. the NATIONAL POST is a mainstream Canadian newspaper. Good to see it is publishing articles like this one.

Patience has worn thin over Palestinian and UN hypocrisy

By Avi Benlolo, NATIONAL POST 19.8.22

Just two weeks ago I wrote about the UN Commission of Inquiry being caught red-handed in the proverbial antisemitic cookie jar. The notoriously anti-Israel UN Human Rights Council and its inquisition were decloaked after one commissioner made antisemitic remarks in a media interview, stating that social media is largely controlled by the “Jewish lobby.” It was a gift because it spotlighted the extraordinary bias of the UNHRC. This week, we were handed two more examples that demonstrate to the world without a shadow of a doubt the laughable absurdity of those who demean, defame and attempt to delegitimize the State of Israel.
