VICTORY PROJECT

T. Belman. MEFORUM argues, victory depends on Palestinians giving up and its up to Israel to make them give up

Will they ever give up? Will they ever accept Israel as the state of the Jews? How far is Israel willing to go to make them give up? Are we willing to bomb them into submission? Is this realistic?

I think not. What do you think?

The Jordan Option has a much better chance of succeeding

MEFORUM

The Israel Victory Project seeks to resolve the Israel-Arab conflict by convincing Palestinians that the Jewish state is tough, determined, and enduring, so that they give up their century-long war against it. The project draws on Israel’s pre-1993 policy of deterrence. It does not deal with the specifics of a final resolution. First recognition, then negotiation. First victory, then peace. Only when Palestinians end their rejectionism can they build their own polity, economy, society, and culture. Thus, is a Palestinians defeat for their benefit as well as Israel’s. The project focuses on decision-makers, opinion-shapers, and publics in Israel and the United States with an eye to reviving victory as a concept.”

Judge Unseals Mar-a-Lago Raid Warrant, Reveals Why FBI Is Investigating Trump

By Jack Phillips, EPOCH TIMES    12.8.22

The seven-page warrant that authorized the FBI to search former President Donald Trump’s property earlier this week was unsealed Friday, and it shows that Trump is under federal investigation for obstruction of justice and other alleged violations.

Trump is under investigation for alleged violations of 18 USC 2071—concealment, removal, or mutilation; 18 USC 793 of the Espionage Act—gathering, transmitting, or losing defense information; and 18 USC 1519—destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations, according to the warrant, which was unsealed by Judge Bruce Reinhart on Friday afternoon. A conviction under these statutes can lead to imprisonment or fines.

The closing of the university mind

It’s why so many, in institutions across the board, are now so incompetent

By Melanie Phillips

The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters; Goya, 1799

The Times reported this week on the deeply alarming findings (£) of a survey it had conducted at Britain’s universities.

It found that ten of them, including three from the elite Russell Group, had started removing books from reading lists or made them optional to protect students from “challenging” content, and had applied trigger warnings to more than 1,000 texts in case they “caused students harm”.

Paul Morgan-Bentley and James Beal wrote:

‘L’Etat, C’est moi!’

By A.F. Cronin, AM THINKER

“L’Etat, C’est moi!”

Roughly translated, the phrase means “The State; It’s me.”

Purportedly spoken to the French Parliament in April 1655 by seventeen-year-old Louis the 14th, the phrase reeks of self-importance, supreme confidence, and the determination to wield unfettered political power with no distinction between the man Louis was and the political position he held.

It wasn’t until some 60 years after Louis’ death in 1715 that uppity, English-speaking North American colonists rebelled against their own divinely anointed monarch, the English King George. It took eight years of war, and a little help from Louis’s great-great-great grandson Louis 16th, before the colonists forged a representative republic modeled on England’s constitutional monarchy.

Losing battle with IDF, Palestinians in firing zone face largest expulsion since ’67

Masafer Yatta’s 20-odd villages are set to be cleared out after a 20-year court fight, despite evidence showing homes predating training area and questions over army’s motivations

FAKHIT, West Bank – In a cluster of dusty hamlets south of Hebron, a decades-long contest of wills between Palestinians and the Israeli government may be coming to an end.

After a legal battle lasting over 20 years, the Israeli High Court of Justice ruled in early May that the army could evict over 1,300 Palestinians living inside a military training zone that covers miles of rolling hilltops.

Persecuting a Pro-Israel Scholar

T. Belman.  Being pro-Israel, trumps being black, gay and an immigrant.

DePaul University’s show trial of Prof. Jason Hill.

By Matthew Vadum, FPM Aug 11, 2022

A white DePaul University professor mocked her black Jamaican-born colleague Jason D. Hill, claiming he came from a “shit-hole” country after Hill wrote an op-ed expressing support for the state of Israel.

The smear may be shocking to some but it’s just another day on an American university campus nowadays. To the academic Left, supporting Israel is arguably the worst thing anyone can do. Backing the Jewish state is an unforgivable sin in their eyes.

Israel-Gaza conflict could reignite, as Israel extends arrest of top PIJ commander

The Israeli military court extended the detention of the head of Islamic Jihad in the West Bank, Bassam Saadi, for six days.

Islamic Jihad in Gaza responded by threatening to renew attacks unless Saadi is released. The ceasefire which capped three days of fighting between Israel and the Islamic Jihad in Gaza is still considered to be fragile with both sides already expecting it to collapse.

The Palestinian Arabs Are Weak. This Is the Time to Impose Our Conditions on Them.

by Alex Nachumson, Arutz Sheva      July 28, 2022

ME FORUM VICTORY PROJECT

Palestinians are weaker and more internationally isolated than they have been in years. (Joe Catron)

The Palestinians are weak, both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. Arab countries will not deal with them and are even tired of them. The Turks are busy with Syria and their economy. Europe and the USA are busy with Ukraine and dealing with inflation.

Even the Israeli public has already forgotten the wave of murderous attacks a few months ago and is preoccupied with the cost of living, because it hurts more right now. This is precisely the time not to abandon the Palestinian Arabs, but to push them harder and impose our conditions on them, before it is too late.

We’ve Got the Deep State on the Run. Here’s What Needs to Happen Next.

BY PAULA BOLYARD, PJ MEDIA    AUG 09, 2022

AP Photo/Susan Walsh

On Monday night, we learned that Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was raided by a team of FBI agents, ostensibly looking for documents the National Archivist says the former president took from the White House without authorization. Was the search for documents merely a pretext to snoop around Trump’s Florida home in the hopes that agents would turn up damning evidence related to the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol? Or was the Department of Justice hoping the raid would whip Trump supporters into a frenzy and cause a repeat of the J6 protest ahead of the midterm elections? (Don’t take the bait.)

Leading Vaccine Scientist: Covid Vaccines Are Killing One in Every 800 Over-60s and Should Be Withdrawn Immediately

By  – on

The elites are ignoring massive death numbers. Data doesn’t lie. Dr. Theo Schetter, a vaccinologist based in the Netherlands who has played a leading role in the development of a number of vaccines, has analysed the official data from the Dutch Government and found a very close correlation between when fourth vaccine doses were administered in the country and the number of excess deaths, as shown in the chart below. Importantly, in the Netherlands the booster rollout in different regions was staggered over a number of weeks allowing an analysis by region, which confirms the effect.

Smotrich: Religious Zionist public will decide the elections

T. Belman. Smoltrich: “We need to see how to bring in two or three more mandates that are currently not voting with us and find a way to build a list that they can ‘swallow'”. He is targeting religious zionists who might otherwise vote for Gantz or Shaked.

Shaked’s call for a “broad Government” is at odds with right wing values. Bennett/Shaked tried that last time around.

By

Bezalel Smotrich-Israel National News

MK Bezalel Smotrich predicts that it is the religious Zionist public that will decide the outcome of the November 1st elections and the identity of the coalition government that will be formed following them.

Sa’ar: National plan needed to protect land of Judea and Samaria

T. Belman.  Great, but what is he doing in bed with Gantz? He avoided calling for sovereignty over area C. Instead he talks of  “safe guarding the security assets” in Judea and Samaria. Or just safeguarding the lands in Area C. Not good enough.

And why does he put “anybody but Bibi” ahead of area C?  I don’t like his call but at least he has put Area C on the table of issues.

Justice Minister tours part of Samaria, vows to work to combat PA takeover of Area C,

Aug 10, 2022, 10:54 PM

Sa’ar in Samaria spokesperson

Justice Minister Gideon Sa’ar toured the ‘Gush Ma’arava’ area in Samaria Wednesday and received an overview of the Palestinian Authority’s moves to illegally take over land in Area C.

He noted that under the framework of the approval of the state budget and the coalition agreements of the New Hope party, additional resources were supposed to be allocated to strengthen the enforcement against the rampant illegal construction in Judea and Samaria.

Managing the Unmanageable

by Victor Rosenthal     August 10, 2022

In their ongoing struggle to escape reality, Israeli politicians and opinion leaders have settled on a new approach to our never-ending war with the Arabs of Eretz Yisrael: not ending the conflict, but managing it.

After almost thirty years of disillusionment and literally thousands of (Jewish and Arab) deaths, all but a tiny minority of Israelis – found in the halls of Meretz and the columns of Ha’aretz – finally understand that the slogans “land for peace” and “two-state solution” represent delusions, and that the attempts to implement them have been disastrous. Of course these ideas are still popular among European antisemites, liberal US Jews, and much of the American government, to our great regret. But that’s another story.

Jews at CUNY Call for the Destruction of Israel

Using the ‘as a Jew’ accusation against the Jewish State.

By Richard L. Cravatts, FPM

As if further confirmation were needed to designate the CUNY system as an egregious purveyor of anti-Israel activism—often replete with anti-Semitic expression—the university is being made to answer for its failure to protect Jewish students and faculty with a new Title VI complaint filed on July 19th by The American Center for Law and Justice.
