Col Kemp: Exposing the Lie of Israel Apartheid

by Richard Kemp, GATESTONE  •  January 7, 2022

  • The breakdown in Israel-Soviet relations was later compounded by Israel’s defensive victories against the Arabs in 1967 and again in 1973. Over this period all hope of Israel becoming a Soviet client had steadily evaporated. Arab armies sponsored, trained and equipped by the USSR had been humiliated, and so had Moscow. Thus the Soviets progressively developed a policy of undermining Israel. Their primary objective was to use the country as a weapon in their Cold War struggle against the US and the West.

Iran is losing ground in the Middle East

By Mudar Adnan Zahran

Israel has recently killed a military leader of the Iran-backed Islamic Jihad terror group in Gaza.  Tayseer al-Jabari, who was killed by an Israeli airstrike on 5 August, was the key military commander for the said group and has been considered the group’s leader since 2019.  The killing was the first step in what Israel named Operation Breaking Down to target Islamic Jihad operations and installations in Gaza.

The timing of the killing and the launch of the operation remains a mystery to some because the Islamic Jihad was not engaged in launching rockets against Israel at the time and the front with Gaza has been quiet since the last major confrontation in May of 2021.

By Jon Dougherty, CONSERVATIVE BRIEF

Former President Trump believes he has a winning formula for his Republican Party during the upcoming midterm elections and beyond.

During a rousing, well-received speech to conservatives Saturday evening at a CPAC event in Dallas, Texas, the 45th president, who has teased running again for the White House in 2024 for more than a year, called for directly assailing President Joe Biden’s agenda as well as the Democrats who control Congress.

Israel pre-empts further Iran proxy attack

These are facts you won’t read in the mainstream British media

By Melanie Phillips Aug 7

Last week, the al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahiri was assassinated by American forces in his safe house in Kabul. Reaction ranged from congratulatory and admiring to a muted sucking of teeth by those on the wrong side in the war against the west.

On Friday, Israeli forces assassinated a senior member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which it believed to be preparing a deadly attack against Israeli civilians. In retaliation, the terror group started firing hundreds of missiles at Israeli civilians.

WSJ Opinion: Putin’s Threats Fail to Deter Finland, Sweden NATO Bid

A new Western global strategy is taking shape. Its development was evident during President Biden’s tour in the Middle East—specifically at the July 14 online summit with the quadrilateral I2U2 Group: Israel’s Prime Minister Yair Lapid and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi (the I’s) and the United Arab Emirates’ president Mohamed bin Zayed and Mr. Biden (the U’s).

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

Although many Israelis will not be eating today (Fast of 9th Av), much of the news in this week’s positive Israel newsletter relates to Israel’s agricultural innovations. One product to increase wheat yields has already been shipped to the US and another is in field trials. Israelis have developed an entirely new, tasty, and highly nutritious ready-to-eat vegetable; an energy-efficient method to extract proteins from plants; and the best-tasting vanilla ever.

Top IDF official: ‘We eliminated all Islamic Jihad leaders in Gaza’

IDF official says. ‘We will not stop until the PIJ stops threatening us, and we will complete the tasks.’

Israel National News

Major-General Oded Basiuk, head of the IDF’s Operations Department, on Saturday evening explained why Israel began Operation Breaking Dawn in Gaza.

Speaking to reporters, Basiuk said, “The IDF and security forces for the past two days have begun a focused operation against the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) organization. This organization tried to carry out – against Israeli civilians in the south and in the Gaza border area, and against soldiers – a lethal terror attack with anti-tank missiles, and to kill civilians or soldiers.”

The anachronism of “Jewish Heritage”

“Jewish heritage” seems to be used to describe the ancestral ties of those who otherwise have little or no connection to Jewish religion or cultural values. Op-ed.

Aug 5, 2022,

Have you noticed the odd way “Jewish Heritage” is often used in contemporary parlance in the Diaspora?

While “heritage” is usually defined as some aspect of culture, widely defined, that is passed down from one’s ancestors, it seems that the term is most often used when the cultural ties are weak, almost non-existent, even where that heritage is so weak that its use seems to be part of an attempt to remember what has been lost.

IDF says ready for ‘week of fighting,’ as over 160 rockets fired at Israel from Gaza

T. Belman.  Why only a week?   Lapid invited Netanyahu to the security cabinet meetings.

The Israel Defense Forces said Saturday morning it was prepared for a “week of fighting” against the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group in the Gaza Strip, as over 160 rockets were launched at Israel from the coastal enclave, with the central city of Modiin targeted as well as southern cities and towns.

The military launched Operation Breaking Dawn with airstrikes in Gaza on Friday afternoon in response to what officials said was an ongoing “concrete” threat to target Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Fiasco in the East Room: The trainwreck unveiling of the Trump peace plan

T. Belman. “By moving to assert sovereignty right away, Netanyahu was pulling the rug out from under the entire “vision.”.   I disagree. I will explain in my comment.

Trump’s Plan: Peace to prosperity

Two and a half years after the event, Jared Kushner finally explains how a carefully constructed effort ‘to improve the lives of the Palestinian and Israeli people’ was derailed

By DAVID HOROVITZ, TOI,     5 August 2022, 4:26 pm

A very strange thing happened in the East Room of the White House on January 28, 2020: US President Donald Trump unveiled a painstakingly constructed “Vision to improve the lives of the Palestinian and Israeli people,” much of which was music to the ears of the average Israeli. But then Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, standing alongside him, immediately subverted it.

Last Word On Orban & ‘Mixed Race’

T. Belman.  Orban should be judged by what he does rather than by what he says.  As Europe Sees Rise in Antisemitism, Hungary Remains Safe Haven for Jews.  As studies show, the rise in antisemitism is directly related to the rise in the number of Muslim immigrants. Hungary restricts Muslim immigration and thus has the lowest antisemitic incidents..

“It should also be noted that according to the victims, right-wing assailants were outnumbered by radical leftist assailants in most of the countries under scrutiny.”

Peloni. Compare this to the Western region of Ukraine, just over the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, was responsible for the rise of the Nazi Party Svoboda, which received over 10% of the Ukrainian vote tally in 2012, to receive over 10% of the national parliamentary vote (link).  More recently, in 2020, a high ranking Ukrainian police official sent a letter to the city officials requiring “the following information regarding the Orthodox Jewish religious community of Kolomyya, namely: The organization’s charter; list of members of the Jewish religious community, with indication of data, mobile phones and their places of residence”(link) (link).   All of this is in addition to the fascist Azov and Kraken regiments being incorporated in the Ukrainian National Guard.

Hungary PM says he’s emphatically against racism. Why his ‘mixed-race’ comment doesn’t necessarily connote bigotry

Ukraine War: Biowarfare and the Theft of Billions

by Dr. Joseph Mercola

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • For years, Ukraine was recognized as one of the most, if not “the” most, corrupt nation in Europe. It held on to that reputation all the way up to the day Russia invaded it, at which point media worldwide suddenly started rewriting history
  • A few days after firing several top officials, Zelensky also issued a blacklist of American “pro-Russian propagandists,” which includes Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, and independent journalist Glenn Greenwald

Viktor Orbán sparks outrage with attack on ‘race mixing’ in Europe

T. Belman. I choose conservative values over progressive values but include in the roster of conservative values that “a person should be judged, not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of his character”. Orban’s statement is akin to talking about the Nazi value of racial purity.

I am greatly disturbed by his objection to  “mixing” of European and non-European races,”  I hope he didn’t mean what it looks like it means.  In his speech to CPAC he said that it won’t go too far as their  Christian values will restrain it. Surely he jests.

Orban explained himself “on Thursday, July 28, defended his comments against creating “peoples of mixed-race”, saying they represented a “cultural” standpoint. “It happens sometimes that I speak in a way that can be misunderstood… the position that I represent is a cultural… standpoint,”

Four years ago in Israel he said that Hungary will always take action to ensure that international organisations treat Israel in a fair, balanced and unbiased manner. He said that in the future Hungary will also continue to closely cooperate with Israel in international forums.”

Hungary’s far-right prime minister says countries where races mingle are ‘no longer nations’
