Turkey’s Quiet Relationship with ISIS

Sinan Ciddi | Sept 3, 2025

On June 29, 2014, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State in al-Sham (ISIS), was recorded on video speaking at the al-Nuri Mosque in Mosul, Iraq. (“Al-Sham” is the traditional Arabic name for the Levant.) He declared himself to be the caliph or divinely inspired absolute ruler of an Islamic state.

ISIS had risen from the ashes of al-Qa’ida in Iraq, bringing together Syrian jhadists released by Asad’s regime, former members of Saddam Hussein’s army in Iraq, and Sunni tribal fighters from across rural Iraq. In Syria, ISIS joined other jihadist groups in fighting Asad. As its battlefield victories mounted, ISIS broke with al-Qai’da in declaring an Islamic state across eastern Syria and northern Iraq, with al-Raqqa in Syria as its capital.

Trump Acknowledges Israel Is Losing Control Of Congress

Peloni:  It is neither remarkable nor revealing to read that Israel is losing the public  relations war being mounted against her.  It is a sad reality of foolish policies which have under funded and under valued the outcome of Israel’s public image over decades now.

In regards to Israel having the strongest lobby, I disagree that this was ever the case.  The reality is that Israel has a lot of strong support from the American people, making the effort of Israel’s lobby less difficult than pretending, for instance, that the Saudi’s had nothing to answer for on 9/11. Relying upon the instinctive support from Americans for too long now, however, is having an effect in the shadow of the world wide anti-Israel and antisemitic campaigns being unleashed against her currently.

Zionists must get up and defeat the ‘silent intifada’

Instead of wallowing in self-pity, Zionists should reconceptualize their approach.

By: Prof. Gil Troy | Aug 27, 2025

Since October 7, haters snort: “Zionists not allowed here” … “Zionists don’t deserve to live” … Zionists are genocidal “baby-killers.” They sling around Zionism, Zionists, and the prefix “Zio” as slurs. Enough fighting back and counterattacking. Let’s push past – and counter-program.

It’s easy when haters assault Jews directly – they show who they are. There are still enough decent people around to resist, defending their favorite Jews. More worrying is what one rabbi friend, who has identified many different intifadas, would call “The Silent Intifadas” – the shunning, ghosting, unspoken boycotting. There’s “The Social Intifada,” ostracizing Jews, especially students, because one bully decided to excommunicate them socially.

They lied to You about PALESTINE! SHOCKING TRUTH!

Peloni:  The Palestinian Arabs don’t want a state, and never did.  They simply want to see the Jews enslaved or dead.  This is why it has been so long ignored that Jordan is the Palestinian Arab State, and why the attempt to give them ever increasing deals to accept a second Palestinian State has failed to gain their consent, ie because doing so does not remove the Jewish State, which has been their ultimate goal.

Israel’s territorial sovereignty

I. PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

The discourse surrounding the borders of the State of Israel is too often mired in ahistorical sentiment and a selective application of international law. This legal brief seeks to correct that narrative by presenting the legal foundations of Israel’s territorial claims, which are rooted not in conquest but in law, treaty, and the explicit recognition of the organized international community of the early 20th century.

The PREP Act Must Be Repealed

Peloni:  So much has gone so wrong for so long simply due to this legislation…

By Janet Levy | Am Thinker | Sept 2, 2025

In a free society, not having to pay if one’s mistakes harm others is a significant privilege. But the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act grants broad immunity from liability to Big Pharma, distributors, hospitals and clinics, doctors, pharmacists, and paramedics whenever the government declares a health emergency. Naturally, the law also protects the government and gives it—specifically, the Secretary of Health and Human Services—nearly unlimited powers. For example, the secretary can declare an emergency based solely on his judgment without needing to provide any evidence.

Simcha Rothman’s Bill to Split Israel’s Attorney General Role | Explained

Peloni:  Relevantly, the High Court unanimously ruled to deny the govt’s request to fire Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, the very definition of judicial overreach, thus demonstrating why judicial reform is not only vital, but why judicial reform will either be passed during the current term or it will be the pivotal point of debate in the next election.  Sovereignty of the people thru their elected govt needs to be reset and restored.

Force before diplomacy: IDF prefers final Gaza push prior to regional talks

Analysis: Israel is at a strategic crossroads in its war on Hamas; while the IDF controls most of Gaza, hostages remain in captivity, and regional peace talks cannot proceed until the enclave is fully secured and the hostages are released

The State of Israel now stands at a decisive crossroads, one that could lead to victory and the fulfillment of all war objectives. The path forward depends on the complete defeat—both physical and psychological—of Hamas in its last strongholds: Gaza City and the central refugee camps, particularly the Deir al-Balah sector.

Rabbi Pesach Wolicki: Is Lebanon headed for CIVIL WAR?

Peloni:  The fairytale of the LAF disarming Hezbollah flies in the face of the simple fact that only Israel has acted to disarm Hezbollah, ever.  The LAF and UNIFIL were charged with the disarming of Hezbollah going back two decades and where is the effect of this fact?  Nowhere.  And in that time, the US and its European partners in crime have been steadily and continuously feeding the Hezbollah controlled state with increasing billions of dollars while clinging to the same mantra that either the LAF or UNIFIL would do more than the nothing they have always done, all while blaming Israel for acting in her own defense as the reason for why these Hezbollah enablers have been unsuccessful in doing.  Instead of the Trump admistration 2.0 replaying the Obama playbook, as took place in the Trump administration 1.0,  they should strike a new tune, demanding Hezbollah disarm itself, while allowing Israel full freedom of action while giving Lebanon ZERO dollars.  Doing so would put the US in the important position of NOT funding a terrorist regime, while also saving the US taxpayer the billions of dollars which the Washington crowd loves to feed to Lebanon, and allowing America’s only true ally in the region the ability to continue enforcing the disarmament of this Iranian terror proxy.  Importantly, the Trump administration has been a full party to this Hezbollah funding racket, under the guise of ‘disarming’ Hezbollah, and they seem intent on continuing to do so indefinitely.

“The Defeat of Jihad by Word: From Debates to Propaganda.”

By Tim from the Reverse Dawah Team

There was a time when Jalal Tagreeb promised to “demolish secularism with the tongue of jihad.” Armed with the unshakeable conviction that Allah had already guaranteed his victory, he styled himself as the Ummah’s answer to Christopher Hitchens—only holier. A man who believed he could not lose.

He lost. Repeatedly. Publicly. Spectacularly.

Examining the “Friends” of Israel: A Critical Analysis

By Oded J.K. Faran and Walter E. Block

A considerable number of commentators present themselves as supporters of Israel while simultaneously undermining the nation’s fundamental right to self-defense. These self-proclaimed allies advance arguments that, upon closer examination, reveal fundamental misunderstandings about the nature of warfare, moral responsibility, and the unprecedented challenges Israel faces. As the saying goes, “with friends like these, who needs enemies?”

The Claim: Israel Cannot Defeat Hamas

INTO THE FRAY: Malevolent Macron has no claim to the moral high ground

Given France’s gruesome post-WW II colonial history—from North Africa through East Asia to Oceania—it has a feeble claim to any moral superiority and is hardly in a position to pontificate to Israel over Gaza.
