The Republicans have the reputation as the stupid party and the debate over mandates for vaccines and masks illustrates this point. Republicans think all the Biden scandals will guarantee Republican victories. They’re fooling themselves.

As the death toll eclipses 700,000, fear of the virus has given the Democrats the lead in the upcoming election in Virginia and could help the Democrats maintain control of Congress in 2022.

Republicans opposing vaccines are digging their own graves, politically and literally. Strangely, Republicans are less likely to recommend getting the vaccines produced by their own president.

Sometime before the end of this year, the Knesset will begin discussing a new bill designed to encourage more citizens of the state who are not officially recognized as Jewish to undergo conversions. If passed, it would be the first time Israel has ever introduced legislation governing the thorny issue of conversion – though it would not be the first time it has tried.

The bill, being drafted by Religious Services Minister Matan Kahana, is in the final stages of preparation. The plan is to submit it for approval once the budget is passed in mid-November. Because it was part the coalition agreement signed in June by members of Israel’s current government, the bulk of the conversion bill is already public knowledge.

Anyone who heard Foreign Minister and Alternate Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s speech to his Yesh Atid party’s Knesset caucus meeting this week got the message loud and clear: If anything is imperiling the stability of the governing coalition, it’s the coalition. Five weeks before the deadline for approving the state budget, a sense of complacency had overtaken the ruling parties. The coalition lawmakers seemed to feel that everything was fine, the danger had passed. Things have settled down and the delta wave of the coronavirus pandemic is waning, as are the disagreements over the government’s spending shifts. Despite his renewed quarrels with the Health Ministry, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is projecting a sense of satisfaction. His vaccination booster-shot campaign got the job done.

T. Belman. As it turns out I attended U of Toronto at the same time as Barbara did and at one time dated her brilliant room mate. Her first husband was my classmate in Law School.  So it was natural for me to follow the rise and fall of Conrad Black and Barbara Amiel.  Barbara is a brilliant woman in her own right and maintained an independent career as a journalist.  Both she and her husband were staunch supporters of the Jewish people and Israel. I followed his trial closely and felt that he was being railroaded. He was and is a good friend to Pres Trump who gave him a full pardon while in office.

Baroness Barbara Amiel has revealed how her ‘noble’ husband Conrad Black told her to leave him when he was sent to prison – and insisted he’s the most generous and the least intolerant man’, despite appearing ‘pompous.’

The 80-year-old and the disgraced press mogul, 77 – who was the former owner of the Daily Telegraph – were once the toast of London and New York society, but became social outcasts after Black was jailed by a U.S. court for fraud and obstruction of justice.

In the Democrat party’s latest unsurprising political stab against Israel, on Sept. 21st, House Democrats voted against funding Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system; $6.3 billion for African refugees remained in place.

Some Republicans roll their eyes regarding Trump’s ongoing efforts to prove claims that massive election fraud won Biden the presidential election. They shouldn’t.  Even if Trump never forces accountability, it is imperative to broadcast vast pushback to perceived Democrat political hijinks.  After all, the corporate media’s focus on Trump’s “mean tweets,” ofttimes  crude objectification of women, incessant bragging, refusal to hew to the DC playbook, and Covid gave them the cover to mostly ignore his systemic greatness.

Trump crashed through the bureaucracy and for a while successfully diminished its reach; then the bureaucracy  viciously smashed back.

Opening a PA Consulate in Jerusalem is intended to undue Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital

The Biden administration is trying to partially undo one of Israel’s greatest diplomatic achievements of recent decades — the recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over all of Jerusalem by the United States, followed by numerous other countries. The good news is unlike with many diplomatic attacks, the Israeli government has the power to stop this one. The United States is pushing to open up a new diplomatic office in Jerusalem — one that would be directed to the Palestinian Authority. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem already provides consular services to the Palestinians. It is unheard of for a country to have an independent consulate in the same city where it already has an embassy. The point of creating a separate consulate is to undermine former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem. But under international law, the United States would need Israel’s permission for this move.

Biden didn’t withdraw from Afghanistan. He brought Afghanistan to America.

The skies over Sparta have never been as busy as when the Biden administration decided to dispatch 13,000 Afghans, including at least one pedophile, to Wisconsin.

Sparta, a small town of less than ten thousand souls, whose claim to fame is being the “Bicycling Capital of America”, could only watch as a population of Afghans outnumbering its own population created a new Afghanistan on the premises of Fort McCoy.

None of the Afghans at Fort McCoy have a Special Immigrant Visa. Biden left the SIV visa holders behind in Afghanistan. The Afghans who have overrun the Wisconsin base are the ones whom the Taliban, for their own reasons, decided to allow through their checkpoints.
