T. Belman. I am confused. How has the vaccine helped. In other words what was the percentage of serious illness without the vaccine, and what was the percentage of infection before the vaccine? Please can someone explain the difference between what was before the vaccine and what was after.

More than 180 Israeli scientists and intellectuals have called on chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague not to accept Israel’s conclusions arising from its investigation into alleged war crimes.

Instead, the group of Israelis suggested in a letter addressed to Chief ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda that the court obtain the assistance of Israeli human rights organizations to gather evidence of alleged war crimes committed by Israelis.

Biden officials claim there will be a “compliance for compliance” agreement under which the United States will rejoin the deal and drop sanctions imposed by the Trump administration. In exchange, Iran will fully meet its obligations under the JCPOA.

WASHINGTON – With a change of administration in Washington and with heightened US-Russian tensions on the global level, Russia’s role in the Middle East could turn into a strategic challenge and an urgent concern to both Israel and the United States, in sensitive areas such as Syria and Iran and in the cyber and technological domains, a new report argues.

According to the report, written by the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Kennan Institute and the Institute for Policy and State at IDC Herzliya, The United States is no longer the undisputed hegemon in the Middle East, while Russia is once again a military and diplomatic actor in the region.

In the Book of Proverbs (Mishlei, 26:24), King Solomon wrote: “An enemy dissembles with his lips and within him he places deceit.” And in the “Art of War,” Sun Tzu stated: “If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Despite their disparate cultural milieus, both understood the danger of failing to recognize or understand one’s adversaries; and the words of both could just as easily apply to the presence in Israel of missionaries who claim to love the Jewish People but in reality seek their spiritual destruction. Though the government should know better, receptiveness to evangelical blandishments and tourism dollars may be a reaction to eroding support from the US Jewish community. Thus, missionary zeal in Israel may be enabled by American apathy.

Canada’s Federal Court of Appeal has quashed a lower ruling that had barred products from Judea and Samaria from being labelled “Product of Israel”, according to a statement released on Wednesday by B’nai Brith Canada.

In 2019, a Canadian court ruled that it was “false, misleading and deceptive” to label wines made in Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria as a “Product of Israel.”

The European Union appears to be irrational. On one hand, EU Parliament rebukes Pakistan for its human rights-abusing blasphemy laws, and calls for religious freedom. But on the other hand, EU authorities are infamous for passively accepting assaults by Islamic supremacists to the freedom of speech, the cornerstone of any free society. This constitutes a level of compliance with those same Islamic blasphemy laws.
