Netanyahu will blink first

T. Belman. Just as I wrote earlier today. In my opinion, Netanyahu isn’t offering enough. Saar and Bennett will hold out for more and will probably get it.

Something about the “change” bloc’s determination appears to have convinced Netanyahu that losing his mandate to form the next government could lead him to lose everything.

By  Mati Tuchfeld, ISRAEL HAYOM     04-26-2021 10:37

Recent political events, from losing a vote at the Knesset Arrangements Committee to Yamina head Naftali Bennett’s announcement he had entered into talks with the so-called “change” bloc to establish a coalition – a move that garnered widespread media support, seem to had an effect on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s confidence levels. One week ago, the alternative government seemed unattainable – a highly unstable government in which right-wing members would need to swallow too many frogs to exist. However, something about its founders’ determination appears to have made Netanyahu think otherwise and conclude that losing his mandate to form the next government could lead him to lose everything.

Likud to Abbas: Back Direct Election of Premier, Get a Plum Job

Deputy Knesset speaker’s role on offer to United Arab List leader

By Jonathan Lis, HAARETZ

Likud is set to offer United Arab List chairman Mansour Abbas one of four slots as deputy Knesset speaker, in an attempt to obtain his support for a bill calling for direct election of the prime minister. The chairman of the Knesset Arrangements Committee, Likud’s Miki Zohar, is expected to call a committee meeting on Monday and bring the selection of the deputies to a vote.

The Arrangements Committee, which decides on the composition of parliamentary panels and sets the Knesset’s agenda as long as a caretaker government is in place, was established last week. The proposal on the committee’s composition by the bloc opposed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which passed by a narrow margin, gives it an advantage over the parties that support the prime minister. Because of this, Zohar has prevented the committee from voting on its agenda.

To Oust Netanyahu, Israeli Left-wing Parties Are Asked to Accept Right Wing Ideological policies

T. Belman. In other words, Bennet is saying the price of getting rid of Netanyahu is to accept policies based on rightwing ideology. Stiff price indeed.

Members of the anti-Netanyahu bloc fear that if Bennett’s demands aren’t met, he might renege on his wish to form a unity government, and go with Netanyahu in the end

By Jonathan Lis, HAARETZ         Apr. 26, 2021 12:06 PM

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strictly refers to government that may arise to replace him as a left-wing government with a ‘token right-wing leader,’ referring to Yamina chairman Naftali Bennett. But in actuality, left-wing parties have been pushed away from the negotiating table, and decisions are being made without considering their requests.

Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid represents Labor, Meretz and Kahol Lavan in when corresponding with Yamina leader Naftali Bennett, and responsibilities for dividing up portfolios and establishing guidelines for a future government also rest on his shoulders.

Coronavirus and the Gates Foundation

By F. William Engdahl, New Eastern Outlook  April 26, 2021

Arguably, no one has been more active in promoting and funding research on vaccines aimed at dealing with coronavirus than Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. From sponsoring a simulation of a coronavirus global pandemic, just weeks before the Wuhan outbreak was announced, to funding numerous corporate efforts to come up with a novel vaccine for the apparently novel virus, the Gates presence is there. What does it actually entail?

Biden’s Team of Israel-Haters

Would a supporter of Israel really fill his foreign policy staff with those who hate the Jewish State?

By Robert Spencer, FPM Mon Apr 26, 2021

Just days after Joe Biden was inaugurated, pro-Erdogan Turkish journalist Hakk? Öcal, according to Ahval News, “highlighted a report on the strong presence of Jews in the cabinet of U.S. President Joe Biden.” The report claimed that there was an “over 50 percent Jewish presence in the new U.S. cabinet,” and pointed Secretary of State Antony Blinken and CIA Deputy Director David Cohen, among others. But Öcal was off base: among Biden’s handlers, Jewish and non-Jewish, there are few, if any, staunch friends of Israel. After just a few months in office, it was clear that Joe Biden’s handlers’ administration was shaping up to be the most anti-Israel presidency since the founding of the modern State of Israel.

Netanyahu blinked

T. Belman. By making this proposal Bibi has blinked. His offer won’t do the trick. He will have to improve the offer considerably. His choice is to sit in opposition or become President. As President he would be immune from prosecution and could also be responsible for Foreign Affairs.

That should be a no-brainer for him.

To entice Sa’ar into the government, Netanyahu is considering handing the premiership briefly to Bennett or a Likud loyalist, while remaining in the PM’s official residence25 April 2021, 4:23 pm

Netanyahu offers Gantz premiership. May make same offer to Bennett and Sa’ar.

Netanyahu initiated last month’s election to avoid implementing his coalition agreement with Gantz, but his bloc failed to obtain a majority in the new Knesset.

     APRIL 25, 2021 22:25

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu gives a press conference with Health minister Yuli Edelstein (unseen) at the Prime Minister’s office in Jerusalem, on April 20, 2021.

In a dramatic turn of events, with his back to the wall, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has offered to let Defense Minister Benny Gantz go first in a rotation as prime minister, Blue and White Party officials said Sunday, confirming a Channel 12 report.

Netanyahu initiated last month’s election to avoid implementing his coalition agreement with Gantz, which required him to hand Gantz the premiership in November. But Netanyahu’s bloc failed to obtain a majority in the new Knesset, leaving him searching for options that could enable him at least to rotate as prime minister.

Can J Street stoop any lower in backing anti-Israel views?

T. Belman.  When J-Street was created in about 2008, it proclaimed itself pro-Israel by redefining the term. It was created and financed by George Soros who wanted to counter the influence of AIPAC.  It purported to speak for American Jewry.  Thereafter the main stream media gave 4 times the coverage that it gave to AIPAC. This was the beginning of the cancel culture.

Obama also was responsible for ADL abandoning the fight against antisemitism and HIAS no longer serving Jewish interests.

NGO is lobbying to restrict US military aid to Israel and moving towards a ‘confederated state’ to replace Israel.

By DAVID M. WEINBERG, JISS

First in sorrow, then in anger, for years I have tracked J Street’s malignant metamorphosis from a “pro-Israel and pro-peace” organization into an anti-Israel mutant.

At its founding a dozen years ago, “pro-Israel and pro-peace” was taken to mean partnering with the mainstream Israeli political Left to build support in Washington for a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians. Fair enough.

The Partnerships Underpinning How UAE-Israel Can Reshape Region

by Seth J. Frantzman, The Jerusalem Post April 21, 2021

On April 19, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, one of Israel’s leading defense companies, and Group 42 (G42), a major technology company based in Abu Dhabi, announced the signing of an agreement to form a new joint venture.

This follows the signing of a strategic agreement between EDGE, an advanced technology group based in Abu Dhabi, with Israel Aerospace Industries to focus on counter-drone technology.

In March, Faisal Al Bannai, CEO and managing director of EDGE, said the agreement was “in line with the recent Abraham Accords and the UAE’s newly established cooperation and spirit of collaboration with Israel. EDGE and IAI are joining forces to deal with this growing threat.”

How Much Ruin Do We Have Left?

Friends and enemies abroad are becoming variously shocked, disheartened—and gleeful—as the United States cannibalizes itself.

By

Any nation’s well-being—as Americans know from their own illustrious history—hinges on only a few factors. Its prosperity, freedom, and stability depend on its constitutional and political stability.

A secure currency and financial order are also essential, as is a strong military.

Perhaps most important, however, is a first-rate, inductive educational system. Of course, nothing is possible without general social calm, often dependent on a reverence for the past, along with present secure borders.

Azerbaijan: Ready to host trilateral summit with Israel, Turkey

“Turkey is a sister country of Azerbaijan and Israel is our strategic partner. We want our friends to be friends with each other,” Hikmet Hajiyev, one of a handful of officials in Azerbaijan truly dictating Azeri foreign policy, says.

Bilateral relations between Israel and Azerbaijan have upgraded significantly over the past year. The process that saw the countries’ security, economic and social ties steadily improve ever since Azerbaijan declared independence in 1991 came to a head during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War, in which Azerbaijan secured a resounding victory.

Mansour Abbas, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Abraham Effect

By Dan DikerKhaled Abu Toameh, JCPA    April 21, 2021

Mansour Abbas, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Abraham Effect
Member of Knesset Mansour Abbas (left) (The Knesset) Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas (kremlin.ru)

  • Mansour Abbas, 46, an Israeli Arab dentist and chairman of the Southern Branch of the Islamist Movement in Israel, secured four seats in Israel’s March 2021 Knesset elections for his Ra’am party on a platform of cooperation, integration, and normalization, in order to advance the socio-economic agenda of Israel’s Arab population – breaking with decades of Arab nationalist and Islamist rejectionist rhetoric against Israel. Mansour Abbas’ success has positioned him as a prospective kingmaker in determining Israel’s governing coalition.
  • This was not a short-term tactical move. In 2020, Abbas had publicly signaled his openness to work with Zionist coalitions. Abbas’ unilateral reset reflects the spirit of the Abraham Accords, creating an internal “Abraham Effect” on Israeli Arab politics.

Israel’s delegation to Washington DC will not change the United States position on rejoining the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, the White House press secretary said in a briefing Friday.

On Monday, a high-level Israeli delegation will travel to Washington to voice objection to the US return to the Iran nuclear deal, but not to hold talks on the details. It will be headed by Mossad chief Yossi Cohen and National Security Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat.

Gaslighting:  Origins and Insights

D. Nussbaum.  A seminal piece of information to understand why/how is it that even seemingly intelligent and educated people are willing to believe what the mainstream media, educational “authorities” and politicians tell them that is clearly contradicted by the realities going on all around them that they perceptually and cognitively “know” to be true.

In addition to the examples provided in the article, “Gaslighting” explains the previous “Creative Math” video that I sent to you last week along with the article from Bari Weiss about the parents who pulled their daughter from an elite school. Or more correctly the other parents who didn’t. It also explains how people “believe” the counterfactual notion that males can menstruate, communism is superior to capitalism, an athlete who made over $42 Million dollars over his NFL career is a “victim” of oppression, Whites are intrinsically racist even if they have behaved to the contrary throughout their lives, along with many other “narratives” within the extensive and rapidly expanding fictional “woke” library.  Please pass along.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Having used brutal force to crush nationwide demonstrations in support of jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny, President Vladimir Putin has now embarked on a new venture. By mobilizing a huge number of Russian forces at the eastern borders of Ukraine and in the annexed Crimea, he is refueling a conflict that has been simmering since 2014. Or is it all for show?

Arizona Election Workers are Running Ultra-Violet Ballot Testing on Maricopa Ballots (VIDEO)

By Jim Hoft , GATEWAY PUNDIT    Published April 24, 2021 at 3:25pm

The Arizona forensic audit continued today at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in downtown Phoenix.

In Arizona, for months the Board of Supervisors in Maricopa County have complained about calls for a forensic review of the ballots in that large and important county. The Board members claim everything was fine but they won’t allow anyone to get close to their results. They spent weeks after the election messing with ballots before they formally concluded the election results.
