BOULDER, COLORADO  —Today was another Joe Biden Day. A mass shooting in Colorado killed 10 Americans. The leftist run newspapers failed to inform us that the murderous shooter is a Muslim. Why did the press fail to tell us that fact? If one remembers, President Donald Trump closed our borders to Muslims and it was with good reason. Muslim after Muslim came here and murdered people in the shadow of 9/11, President Trump, for our safety closed America to them. And there were howls of protest over this. “Unamerican” some chirped. So another Muslim settled in this country and today, 10 more Americans are dead.

Let me add that Muslims can be charming and generous people. And they can be fun. It is tragic that their minds have been hijacked and perverted by an infectious doctrine that they all bought into which redirected their lives and thinking through a distorted pathway that led them to violence as well as self destruction.

One of the world’s biggest ships, called the Ever Green, is stuck sideways in the Suez Canal. No one can pass. An initial report suggested the ship suffered a power blackout before the incident. It is thought the accident happened after the ship’s captain and two Egyptian pilots sent on board to help guide the vessel became blinded during a sandstorm with high winds that sent the vessel off course and caused it to get wedged around 7.45am on Tuesday. Unlikely. It can carry some 20,000 containers at a time. It previously had been at ports in China before heading toward Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The Ever Given, built in 2018 with a length of nearly 400 meters, or a quarter of a mile, and a width of 193 feet, is among the largest cargo ships in the world. The giant cargo ship wedged across the Suez Canal is blocking shipments worth an estimated $9.5 BILLION per day including food and oil which will have an ‘enormous’ impact on the world economy.

Iran is investing heavily in the war in Yemen, through technical know-how and provision of weapons over the last six years, as well as political capital. Where once the Houthi rebels were portrayed as an indigenous rebel force that sprang from the mountains of Yemen, Iran is now taking ownership of the war.

This isn’t the first time Yemen has been caught in a proxy war. In the 1960s it was a center of conflict for Egypt and other powers, including Saudi Arabia. Today, the situation has changed and Iran is seeking a broader foothold. Iran also thinks that it has outplayed the Saudis and the US in the country at the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula. Tehran initially sought to use the war there as a testbed for new munitions, supplying expertise in long-range ballistic missiles and also improving the Houthis drones.

T. Belman. Goldman holds that America must tell it people ” that the task of maintaining a world order is unending and fraught with costs but preferable to the alternative.” This is classic neo-conservatism.

I bought this during the Bush era until the folly of the Iraq War.

Yes, maintaining the World Order is important and even necessary.  But America must learn to delegate responsibility.  It must create and strengthen alliances and delegate to them.  Russia is not the enemy. China and militant Islam is. NATO should be repurposed.  The Abrahamic Accords should be enlarged and strengthened. Iran and China should be contained.

He describes Trump’s policies as “loopy”.  I don’t see it that way.

In Georgia, a judge has agreed that the group “Voter GA” can go ahead and inspect Fulton County Georgia ballots from the 2020 election for Fulton County. This time, they will use the method developed by Jovan Pulitzer.

Pulitzer is an inventor, best known for the bar code you find on groceries and other products found in stores. He claims that by using his method you no longer need to examine the machines used in the counting to discover fraud.

The vote in Georgia comes down to Fulton County and so if the count there is correct, there is no doubt that Biden won.

A Politico/Morning Consult Poll, released this week, shows a big decline in support for citizenship for illegal immigrants, even among Democrats.

This finding, by a liberal Democratic-oriented national survey firm has the potential to roil further the debate about Biden’s immigration proposals.

The survey showed that only 43% of registered voters favored creating a “pathway” to citizenship for illegal immigrants. That figure is down from 57% last month — a drop of 14 points.

The 46th President of the United States Joseph Robinette Biden began by signing an unprecedented number of executive orders designed to bypass the legislative process (including job killers and open borders). He signed the hyper-partisan “Covid relief package” proving that he has no interest in unifying the country. He actually boxed out Republican voices in the negotiation process resulting in a true moderate, Susan Collins, wondering why Biden “would want to alienate” Republicans willing to work with him. In between we’ve barely seen the president while he hides behind Harris and Dr. Jill.

Or he could join the right, in the hope that some or all of New Hope or Yisrael Beytenu will do likewise. Perhaps he will wait for the right to find two more seats before joining.

On the other hand if Likud appointed Israel Katz as head of the party and Netanyahu as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Likud could easily form a government with New Hope, YB and Yamina. To cement the deal the new government could pardon Netanyahu ( or the Israeli equivalent) and everybody would be happy.

Right-wing parties New Hope and Yisrael Beytenu are both in the replace-Netanyahu bloc and Yamina is also considering signing on, joining forces with center-left and Arab factions to oust the premier.

According to David Asher of Hudson Institute, COVID-19 could have emerged as part of China’s military program to develop a universal antidote to bio-weapons. He believes that China already had a vaccine and were figuring out ways to “weaponize” coronavirus and make it more lethal. We know!

The primary need, he said, is to reform the curricula, especially in the field of religious studies, which currently offer no ideological protection and in fact radicalize the youth and turn them into potential recruits for terror organizations. Al-Sharimi suggested, inter alia, to reexamine the concept of jihad in these curricula; instill values of religious pluralism, human rights and the nation state, and teach about all religions at all grade levels – so as to prevent dogmatism and violence and cultivate independent and critical thinking.

The resolution passed on a 58-35 party-line vote.

The committee will now have subpoena power to compel testimony and gather documents.

After the first oil price war launched by the Saudis against the then-nascent U.S. shale sector in 2014, Washington took the view that the Kingdom had broken the core 1945 agreement made between the two countries and that consequently, the U.S. needed to begin to reduce its dependence on Saudi oil imports down to insignificant levels over time. This view was reinforced when the Saudis launched another oil price war in 2020, again principally aimed at damaging the U.S. shale sector, that was only ended with the direct threat from former President Donald Trump to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) that unless Saudi stopped the oil price war then the U.S. would withdraw its military support for the country in general, and the ruling Al-Saud family in particular. Given this backdrop, it is unsurprising that the U.S.’s new cornerstone strategy to counter growing Chinese influence in the Middle East’s oil and gas sector appears to barely involve Saudi Arabia at all.
