Molly Ball postulated “The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted.” If truth be told, she flipped reality on its head. This was a conspiracy not to protect a free and fair election but to lay waste to it by blatent fraud.

A “conspiracy” between “left-wing activists and business titans” led to “an extraordinary shadow effort” to “protect” the 2020 presidential election from Donald Trump, according to Time magazine.

Never mind that Trump is the least authoritarian American president in probably a century and the most transparent American president ever – writer Molly Ball claims in an article titled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election” that a huge effort was undertaken “fortifying,” but not “rigging” the election.

Some time ago, it was suggested that I submit my essays to a respected online publisher.  It was accepted, but when it came time to reading the published piece, I realized it was missing my explanation, the point of my effort.  I checked it against the original  and wondered how the line had been dropped.  I called the editor’s attention to what I thought was an inadvertent glitch, only to learn that he had removed it intentionally, not realizing its cruciality.  After a few words of explanation, he agreed to its reinsertion, but the initial readers had been robbed of my intent.

The TIME piece is a view into the mind of how people who feel they are on a righteous mission to save the world for “democracy” think. It’s rather like interviewing a serial killer to get more information on his/her viewpoint and methods (more on that later).

The day after Trump’s inauguration in 2017, millions marched in support of women’s rights. It was arguably the largest single-day protest in America’s history. In its aftermath, leaders of the Women’s March were challenged for their antisemitic statements and actions. My voice was among the Jewish leaders and activists who expressed opposition to the mistreatment of Jews in the Women’s March movement.

To our dismay, those of us who wanted to fix the Women’s March and make it more inclusive encountered unexpected pushback from Jews who wanted to achieve the opposite. Those who were against intersectionality, feminism, and the Women’s March exploited the news coverage and controversy to advance their unrelated politics. As the Jewish community at large turned against the organization for its failure to fix its antisemitism problem, the only ones who continued to embrace it were fringe Jewish voices, namely anti-Zionist ones.

Holocaust survivor Shoshana Ovitz, who’s birthday celebration with about 400 of her descendants at the Western Wall in 2019 went viral, passed away on Sunday at the age of 105.

Ovitz survived Auschwitz after witnessing her mother being handed over to the infamous Nazi doctor and “Angel of Death,” Josef Mengele, known for his cruel experiments on prisoners.
