Palestinian Authority: ‘Iran should have fired more missiles at Israel in Oct. 7 war’

Peloni:  Terrorists don’t change their spots, even when they run an American equity posing as a reformed failed peace partner… America needs to finally and completely disown, disassociate and dismantle the Fatah entity know colloquially as the ‘Palestinian Authority’.  Til they do, they remain complicit in every act of terror which the the PA facilitates.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) was always just as bad as Hamas, even when Joe Biden viewed the PA as the best choice to govern Gaza after the Israel-Gaza war.

Now the PA is showing its rage at the Islamic Republic of Iran for not standing by Hamas after the October 7, 2023 Hamas jihad massacres, during Israel’s war on Hamas. This is despite long-standing rifts between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.

Although the PA refers to October 7 itself as a “war,” it was not a war. It was a barbaric jihadist attack targeting civilians (infants included), murdering them and committing the most heinous atrocities against them.

October 7 was an act of casting terror into the hearts of disbelievers, as are violent attacks on Christians in Africa.

When your Lord inspired the angels, I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then strike the necks and strike their fingertips. — Qur’an 8:12

“Iran should have fired more missiles at Israel in Oct. 7 war – Palestinian Authority complains,” by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, April 6, 2026:

The Palestinian Authority, in its official daily, complained that Iran didn’t launch more missiles against Israel during the Oct. 7 war, but instead left Hamas to fight alone:

“Some are wondering today, with or without amazement, where these missiles were during the Zionist and religious Israel’s war against the Gaza Strip.”

[Official PA daily editorial, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 26, 2026]

The PA argued that had Iran cared about the Palestinians and not “abandoned Hamas,” the outcome of the Oct. 7 war would have been different:

“If at the time Iran had launched a quarter of the missiles it has launched on Jordan and the Arab Gulf states, the course of that war would have changed, and perhaps it would have even stopped in its first month.

[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 26, 2026]

During the Oct. 7 war, Palestinian Media Watch exposed the PA’s changing attitudes toward Iran. In earlier bulletins, PMW noted that as Iran’s nuclear program was destroyed, the Palestinian Authority began turning against it. Previously, Fatah’s terror wing had celebrated Iranian missiles and their goal of “eliminating Israel from existence.” More recently, the Palestinian Authority has mocked Iran, suggesting that Palestinians kill Israelis more effectively than Iranian missiles do. Additionally, the Palestinian Authority has stated that Hamas “brought hell on the Palestinian people,” serving their Iranian “masters.”

In the current war, PMW has documented that the PA has been silent about the American-Israeli attack on Iran and has condemned only Iranian missiles targeting Arab states. The Palestinian terror organizations openly mourned Khamenei, while the PA had no comment. The PA’s greatest worry is that the war with Iran will “erase” the Palestinian issue from the daily news.

The following is a longer excerpt of the PA’s editorial….
